Ffs, even Warrior Assault Systems vests can cost less than £130 and WAS produce some of the most suitable gear for airsofters!

I meant manufacturers as a whole. I've not heard anything about VFC's pistols, do they make the Stark Arms G17s?

If you ever fancy a Cold 1911 style pistol, avoid WE's 1911s at all costs. Other than that most brands bar VFC and Ares are OK.

They do spend more time on the tolerances of all of their guns, and this is true to the point that they do make the most accurate pistols out of the box. People love to hate TM because they think they know something everyone else doesn't and like to feel happy that the WE they were sold over the counter at their local shop is the best there is. Unfortunately, it's really as simple as they know what they're doing, they've done it the longest and they do it the best. When you're so tightly constrained by the Japanese airsoft power limits, you have to be good. Gas efficiency obviously matters a lot there (what with the green gas restrictions), and that's a large reason as to why they use plastic slides.

The real fact of the matter is that retailers make a much larger margin of profit on WE and KWA and so selling them is great. Prices on TM guns have always been managed right out of the factory and everyone gets the same price. WE is more popular in the UK because it's cheaper; people like them because they own them and because they use a bit more metal.

Let's not forget that the majority of companies simply clone their designs too - that's how good they are at doing what they do. I'd never tell someone to spend more than they're comfortable with spending, but if you have £150 and want the absolute best performance, part compatibility and longevity then TM is who you go for. If you then want to dump a load of money on a metal kit then do so, but you can't have your cake and eat it - metal slides will always slow down your cycle time and produce more wear and even more so if it's a soft metal that will scratch very easily and not stay lubricated for long.

When it comes to range and accuracy: Yes, they do. The barrels are generally of a higher quality and the internal tolerances are far greater than those of other brands. They simply are more accurate and do go further. Not by a whole lot, but they do. If it makes you feel happier with your purchase by thinking it performs as well as the original TM design then that's fine, but it's false. There's a reason why the TM Hi-Capa is the most popular competition pistol.

If you don't like the plastic feeling then buy a metal kit. And saying TM's plastics are 'horrible' is absolutely ludicrous when they have some of the best looking finishes out there:

I'd say Stark Arms is better than WE, but (unsurprisingly) I'd maintain that TM is better than both performance wise.

If I were you I'd just put a standard Wehrmacht officer's loadout together. Some units of the SS were responsible for running concentration camps, and so the SS has a massive stigma surrounding it. The Wehrmacht does not have this stigma as they were combat only, and so you won't have to worry about what others think.
In fact, some members of the Wehrmacht saved jews and non-jews from the concentration camps- Anton Schmid, a sergeant in the army, helped about 250 Jewish men, women & children to escape from the Vilnius ghetto and also provided them with forged passports and documents. For this he was court martialled and executed.
If you dressed as a standard German Army officer from WWII instead of as an SS officer, you can tell ignorant name callers about Anton Schmid and how he saved so many jews for his own sacrifice.

The standard G&G M14 can be used as a DMR out of the box, Airsoft_Ed's M14 was doing 390 out of the box. Apparently it was a really good shooter after he'd installed a tightbore and when using heavyweight ammunition.

TMC's copy of the Crye AVS. Im usually not a fan of anything TMC make but seeing as they have recently started using genuine Multicam material I thought id give it a shot and for £77 shipped from ShooterCB, Im very impressed. Much more solidly put together than any of their older stuff. Only thing im unsure of is if it will accept real Crye Zip On panels and dissapointed it didnt come with the quick release cables, although I never use it anyway (It is one way of attaching the multiple cummerbunds though)

Comes with the Front M4 Flap
    3 Band skeletel Cummberbund
    1 Band Cummerbund

    Ive added myself
    Crye Shoulder pads
    TS Crye JPC Mbitr pouches
    Mayflower assault backpanel
    Internal padding from my CPC

My very much WIP A&K M249. Got an MAG 2.5k box mag for it and a rail as well as a new barrel, dust cover and flash hider (not fitted). Daytona kit will be on its way soon too.

My new, very old TM M9 with Zeke full metal kit and walnut grips for which I think there's a part missing*

*Somewhat amusingly, the photo was taken ontop of a vintage HMRC crate, whilst the missing slide is stuck in customs at Heathrow.

Don't know where you got your info from mate but VFC internals are usually like Swiss Cheese. I've never heard of Krytac or anything about them, and I don't trust manufacturers which fall into that 'don't know' category.

TacMaster got a reaction from Fumps in Mixing camoflage patterns on a plate carrier.
True camouflage isn't solely about the pattern you're wearing. You need to break up your shape as well.
Adding long grass, twigs (ones with leaves on them are the best to use) as well as any other natural debris to your plate carrier and any headgear can really help in breaking up your shape. Some dyed burlap strips are also very useful.
You have to remember that the effectiveness of your camouflage depends on the environment you're currently in. Lighter patterns like MTP are very useful in environments with lots of light colours, such as areas with very sandy soil and light coloured flora.

    Starting over again.........

either contact LWA and get refund or pay for 2-tone
or Zero One for free 2-tone

Or just do your time and do 3 games etc... then you can get RIF

I don't care if you are 17.99999 or 7.99999yrs old tbh coz it ain't me selling you the RIF or IF

that is far as I go but this forum can not be seen to break rules or guidelines or tell you how to get around it
I suppose some people buy 2-tone guns and the 2-tone "could" wear off or may have an accident/spillage

but this forum can not be seen to openly assist people who do not meet the criteria
it is watched by loads n loads of "guests" many may not be of the correct age and also this forum as well as this sport
could come under fire if it was allowing this to take place

That is about it - yes some of the regulations/rules/guidelines may not seem to make complete perfect sense in every paragraph/line
but then there are loads of rules/regulations in life we all have to abide by - or at very least try to

best advice is refund n wait - get skirmishing and you will be 18 & ukara'd before you know it
then you can buy a nice gun and understand it all a bit better
