    hi boyle, and welcome to airsoft. Most skirmishes usually involve two groups of people against each other to complete some sort of objective. You don't need to be in a team to play and I think most people are 'lone wolves'.

     

    If none of your friends want to come and play, just go down yourself and get stuck in. Most airsofters are friendly, so you shouldn't feel left out.

    I can even keep my Ukrainian recon impression too since Fleck is in pretty wide use. I can see why,it's really really effective.

     

    What would be the best place to buy? I'm considering taking a trip down to Dublin to Army Bargains or buying online Flecktarn.co.uk.

    I love my Flecktarn, it seems the right colours and shades for where I live, especially if you hide in/around a holly bush. I'm not sure where to buy as most of my stuff is from the war and peace show with retailers selling stuff cheap on the last day. However, I use Military1st sometimes who do free next day delivery or flecktarn.co.uk is a good bet.

    Jaysus,they make spare parts for the W700? How'd you manage to fix it Zak?

     

    Some shnaps of my VSR for a review. I really like the angle of the gun here,even though the rest of the photo staging looks sh*t.

     

    Nice rifle UTJ, amazing to see how well it looks after the amount of war stories it's been in. What's the white type for? To hold the barrel on to the front of the stock?

     

    Also, I managed to find a small nut which fit in the screw which held the bolt together. So I had to massacre it to get it into position where it wouldn't rotate or wobble out.So that has seemed to fix it (for now) but the rifle is still letting out a really weak fps of about 350, so I need to replace the spring. But it works and now I can snipey snipe someone in the face. :D

     

    You've done well with that Zak, wouldn't think it was a w700 with the scrim on.

     

    Love the scrim, it works really well at braking it up if you look at it from the front, perfect for lying in wait inbetween two holly bushes. Virtually unnoticeable! Me being beind it is a different story though :)

    I have the mag 190 rnds and they are stupid heavy.

     

    Oh, well mine only hold 130 rounds. Are yours metal? because I have the plastic ones

     

    If you want your mid caps heavier, there is a fair bit of space inside 'em that you could put lead in - B&Q lead flashing, or better yet, get it from a scrap yard.

     

    Sounds like a plan, my dad's sure to have some random shite usable in his van as weights
