My personal opinion is firstly having a bright green blob of plastic in the ejection port is a no no. Secondly, tm hop chambers are perfectly fit for purpose; if it ain’t broke….
Also fyi, it doesn’t mention scar compatibility..
Correct link now. Also the original rubber is worn, otherwise I’d leave it!

Hi all. I am going to replace the hop up for my TM NGRS scar h. I have started to service my AEG and I was going to buy the Laylax purple hop rubber with nub. I am a techy, so have no problem doing it, but I noticed this, which looks interesting.anyone used this. Anyone had hands on with this?
What are your thoughts?Kind Regards

Has the gearbox been checked? Is there some grease or something obstructing the light sensor? Also someone might of damaged the light sensor in the gearbox.
Are all the mechanical parts for the bolt catch working, no worn parts etc?

There are many good guides out there, this is one for example. But best to ask us on these forums as we know best!
Thera er many videos on Youtube. Get investigating!

Just why…the madness!

When I do techy work for players, once the issue is fixed, I would check it a dozen times and also ensure that the user “customer” is happy with the work. I don’t do it as I enjoy it and I like to help others. This reputation spreads, which is important to me.
That person got really bad service.

Take it apart, clean, inspect, then try again.

TM Recoils out of the box. And even better with some fine tuning and most importantly to keep the TM magic dust - your on to a winner!

Thanks lads. @SneakyI think I'll take it to Graham and Beaker, they may have bits knocking about that could fit it.
Yeah @Skullchewerthat’s a good shout. If you do not have any parts, maybe do a steam punk look for it?

Marushin or Chinese clone mossberg 500. Its gas. The valve is in the space where the shell loader would be and bbs are loaded into the mag tube via the end cap if I remember correctly. Parts will be almost impossible to come by and they leak like a sieve.
That’s a lovely find! I think @BigStew is correct. Looks like the handle has had the stock sawn off from the angle of the grip.

Also, understand where all thes parts come from, but I am a big fan of supporting the UK businesses here and to ensure that they keep going.

Harsh truth is that you can keep shovelling money into it or you can give it to an airsoft tech who understands the details of how things work and will fix it for you.
Very true. Something to bear in mind - having the correct cylinder is right, but also attention needs to be made to the quality of the piston head rubber. This tends to be forgotten.
Learn from what you have found out so far, but when it comes to upgrades, like is more and bit at a time.
-
As above. Have you tried installing some of the original parts, bit at a time? Process of elimination, takes time but worth it.

I would recommend an R-hop for a DMR build, works well and is very consistent. Does the air nozzle has an internal o ring?
There should not be that much of an fps reduction with hop on, if you are having a 75 fps drop.

One way is the use of red loctite. Another is to try a snugger fitting pinion, for instance Siegetek make different sized ones e.g.
Change the motor if the issue persists after doing the above first.
-
Try all the above. Also remove the rubber o ring from the standard piston head and replace the ZCI o ring. See what happens there.
There should not be much friction, any spring is designed to take into account of any minor friction.

Hello people was wondering whether I could put an m130 spring or even a m135 spring in my Nuprol pioneer defender which is an m4 assault rifle, do you think the motor could pull it back and would it last? Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks
Do it and see the end result….. start saving for a new RIF now….

Builds should always meet the requirements of .20g bb at your site. Once passed, you can use what ever bb, just make the finer hop adjustments.

After much more research, I will stay with the unit, but will try the maple leaf super macaron bucking.
