The laser on that gun though is a Steiner DBAL-PL which is fitted with an eye safe class1 IR laser.

Here's another cracker... I've strapped some ACM parts onto my rifle so I'm now going to charge £300 more than retail for it.

The one your grandfather owns isn't a scope though, it's designed to be head mounted. There's a reason every military that uses night vision head mounts it!

Still needs trademarks engraving, a coat of paint and a scoutlight to replace the WML, but it's coming along

Not being a snob, just pointing out that viper kit is awful and massively overpriced, for the same cost he could probably have bought a warrior universal holster or a fobus which would be MUCH better.

No mate, custom DMR. Why else would it be £300 for a £130 gun?!

bahahahahahaha, it's a beat up SOPMOD with a couple of prometheus bits and some clone accessories and he's going for £650.
Justified it with the £300 Garmin Foretrex (that costs £110 new)... either he's a MASSIVE sucker or he thinks someone else is.

He's also selling it as a DEVGRU Mk18... I don't normally get all super nerd stitch counting loser on here but it's A: Not a Mk18, B: DEVGRU don't use Mk18s anyway!

Great post, needs to be sticky!
Just to chuck in my 2p;
Using a dual monitor radio to man 2 separate frequencies at the same time isn't going to do you any favours, 2 frequencies need 2 radios and 2 earpieces/speakers/whatever. Having 2 different conversations being piped into the same ear just means you can't hear either!

It is an offence for an under 18 to buy a gun, doesn't matter if the website you buy it from has a flaw that allows you to do it.

No, you're completely correct. That's why I go back and edit posts from time-to-time when I realise I've cocked something up because I vehemently in the camp that says you should search for your problem first before asking it in its own thread. What good is that if all the old posts are laced with subtle mistakes? None at all.

OWNERSHIP IS NOT LEGISLATED AGAINST AT ALL. THERE IS NO AGE RESTRICTION ON THE OWNERSHIP OF AN AIRSOFT GUN.
The VCRA ONLY legislates against SALE, MANUFACTURE and IMPORT. Ownership is not mentioned at any point, therefore it is not illegal for an under 18 to own an airsoft gun be it RIF or otherwise.
Please read this: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/38/section/36 & then this: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/38/section/40
Sale of an IF/RIF and purchase of an IF/RIF are illegal when it comes to under 18's, OWNERSHIP is not mentioned and is therefore LEGAL.
