    Airsoft Laser Engraving Work From £5

    So recently I have been granted unlimited access a laser engraving/ cutting machine. So me being me I grabbed some airsoft bits and spent an entire night sketching designs and ideas to engrave onto my things. Firstly I decided to engrave my username on my Glock slide. After getting used to the software and practicing with the machine, I popped my go pro inside and recorded the entire process and I did it! It’s pretty faint and you can only notice it upon close inspection but I like it. I could have made it stand out a lot more if I wanted to but I am satisfied with how it is. Secondly I sketched up a wolf design I like from a mil spec monkey patch for the hood of my 552 Eotech. I programmed it into the machine, recorded the whole thing again and it looks beautiful. I also engraved Eotech trademarks onto it. But don’t take my word for it, here are the photos:

    I hope to engrave many other airsoft stuff like mags and other attachments!

     

    But what I want to know.

    Who would be interested in having nicknames/logos/their own designs/etc engraved onto whatever airsoft item they want (as long as they’re made of high quality material) for a very small price and very fast service?

    I named my gun sven. Its a weird story how he got the name really:

    There was a gay guy in my year at school that was an all rounder creep, extreme low hygene, watched porn at school, and had a boyfriend from belgium he had never met. As you can guess his name was sven. A couple days after the story of this weird childs boyfriend getting around my school, i was skirmishing and noticed the scars trademarks stated "FN Herstal - Belgium". It was fate, she (now he) had to be named Sven.

    Thats what i thought but i thought id double check, i am at the point of 340 FPS and was concerned id go over my locals limit!

    I Went for a 9.9 LiFePO 1600mah Battery, bought some deans connectors, SHS Super Shooter 13:1 Gears and an SHS Ultra High Torque motor. Ive also done some tweaking and tuning to my other gearbox parts (polishing my cylinder and cylinder head and slightly swiss cheasing my piston for example) so hopefully ill be shooting around 30rps. I hope to invest in a mosfet soon!

    Cheers fellas, I called up my local shop to see if they could help me and they've told me exactly the same as what you've all said, I'm gunna buy a guarder infinite high torque motor, shs 13:1 gears, wire my gun to deans and spend my entire Saturday shimming the gearbox as best as I possibly can, then wire it up to my new battery and see how it all runs!

     

    What sort of MOSFET would you all recomend? I've been looking at getting this then hard wiring it if needed but I'm not sure wether it's worth the money: http://www.airsoftworld.net/new-2014-burst-wizard-king-kong-super-2-mosfet.html

    So I mostly pay Woodland and CQB when skirmishing. It's been a year since I brought my scar and I've had many problems with it but they've usually been fixed. But now I'm fed up of wasting money on silly fixes. I've decided to completely disassemble my gearbox and start afresh. Forget about my barrel on my hop up unit I just want to concentrate on my gearbox:

    I want to be able to have internals which allow me to have a faster rate of fire and a faster trigger response (so my gun is perfect for CQB and woodland) so firstly I purchased a 9.9v LiFePo battery, wired my gun up to deans and got a set of shims ready for my new gears. I was told by a few people to get to high torque motor and a high-speed set of gears. Do I keep my 16:1 gears or buy some 13:1 gears or something else? Also what other upgrades do I need to look into purchasing/ performing on current parts? And is there anything else I need to take into consideration?

    wrong time of year to be getting a GBBR, you'll get frustrated with the performance in the cold and won't get the magic that comes with a good GBB in nice weather.

     

    I play cqb and the temperature is warm enough that I play in a tshirt and vest in wintertime so hopefully, if I was to get a gbbr/smg, that wouldn't be a problem.

    I'm not too sure, I think it was the selector plate and selector gears inside, I'm beginning to give up. my gun is in desperate need of a service & upgrade.

    I'm contemplating getting it fixed and swapping it for/selling it and buying a gbb smg/gbbr.

    I just absolutely wet myself laughing after reading that Jimmy Saville comment!!! :lol: Cracking!

     

    I mainly do CQB skirmishes too and was looking at the G&G Scar L as an option. It is on my wish list which consists of a KWA or TM MP 7A1, a G&G Scar L and a TM PX4 GBB Pistol. Now, which body organ do I need to sell to fund such purchases?! :o

    sounds like a cracking set-up, i would recommend the scar as long as you have good internal knowledge and have a bit of cash to upgrade it after a while. mine needs some serious work haha!

    I'm liking the Scar. Whats your opinion of the G&G Scar?

     

    External wise ~ absolutely gorgeous. 10/10. the only flaw i can think of is the bolt makes the most horrible noise when released, but the same thing happens with all of the scar aeg's excluding the marui recoil's.

    Internals ~ i know 3 people with the same gun that have never had any problems with, they shoot and sound amazingly, sadly i have had never ending problems with mine after owning it for over a year, i guess i was unlucky and got a crap one out of the 999 good ones ._. My selector switch was as stiff as jimmy saviles dick in a nursery and cost me a small fortune just to fix that, i mostly play cqb so i am constantly playing on semi and for some reason my gun just completely locks up and i have to switch to full auto and back to get it to shoot again, and finally the trigger response is pants with anything below a 9.6v nimh battery or a 7.4v lipo. The gearbox and motor also make horrific noises when shooting lately, i think its telling me its upgrade time!

    I didn't mean the camos! xD I carry a lot more gear such as knee pads, a hydration pack, a drop leg fast mag pouch and now a holster & a side arm when i play cqb. when I recently played at my local woodland field I found it a lot harder to run with all that gear on so I removed what I didn't necessarily need and ran with what I'm wearing in the photo for the rest of the day!
