It does look quite handsome, I'll probably spray the metal parts in tan and the rest of it black (furniture, optic, silencer) Though after seeing a firing test video of the C96 I'm not impressed with the accuracy, so that's the first thing that needs to be sorted.

I meant that that it's hard to change magazines because on the Silverback version the magazines are very tight (nothing a bit of sanding won't fix.) And I think the trigger sometimes locks up one semi auto.

Well considering S&T tend to produce crap products, the Silverback version isn't very good and changing mags is a task, this gun smells like a recipe for disaster. Are there any reviews on it?

I was on holiday two weeks ago in Barmouth, kids were running around in an arcade with bright orange G36's and Winchester cap rifles. Walking back from the beach there was a chubby kid with a JBBG special bright blue M9 spring pistol: just happily plinking empty cans in a public car park with it. No one gave a shit.

G&G Combat machine /thread

Over the past year I've been wanting to do this build. Maybe I'll have a go at it this year after I've got a car. I drew it out to see what it should look like after I've done all the work to it. Base gun is the HFC C96 rifle, my plans for the rifle is to chop down the outer barrel, thread the remaining barrel to attach a silencer, cut down the top receiver to align with the front of the ejection port, JB weld a rail to the receiver and somehow upgrade the barrel / hop up as I don't think the range or accuracy will be very good out of the box. Should be a funky little marksman rifle when completed. If I ever end up starting the project I'll keep this thread updated.

Well, it is against their rules, but the mods on arrse doing f*ck all about some of the abuse towards armysurplus is even more pathetic.

Welcome to the forums! There are no upgrade parts for cheap spring guns, if you managed to extend the inner barrel it wouldn't affect the performance that much.
