.25g's work best for me, same with propane. For maintenance, a little bit of silicone oil on the firing mechanism should do just fine. Gbb pistols don't require massive amounts of maintenance.

What you circled is a hammer, Glocks don't use hammers, especially springer pistols. I think what fell out was the piston sear.

What did you take apart? The slide? The frame? You need to give us more details, pictures would help as well.
