  1. What price did you get it for? Or have you seen them cheaper than £239.99
  2. Thinking of buying the Dmr recon by G&P, I was wondering if anyone has owned one or seen one in action. Is it good in all round play (eg/ conventional fighting in woodland areas and CQB environments, I like the m14 styled rifles and this one seems to be a more modern version, what are your views on it? I've found it for 220 online so far Here's a picture of one kitted up
  3. he dont play in my area so its all good. otherwise id tell him to do it and look twice as elite as i already am by brassing him up, in my honest opinion just dont use one. although if im honest ive just purchased an m14, and am thinking of drilling in some picitinny so i can have a huge flashlight on the side and an AFG on the bottom
  4. just don't be one of them guys that runs around with it on, because a blinding flashlight becomes an aiming marker, just flash it for room entry but in small doses
  5. the lee enfield is by far the prettiest rifle out there. my founding regiment were the first to use it in british services and the "15" bayonet" is refered to as a sword
  6. okay ive recently purchased an SRC417, and its really beaten up (its not ment to be, i just got sent a broken RIF) one of my issues with it is that there is a giant crack on the body of it, would i be able to replace the body with this https://jdairsoft.net/upgrades/body/magpul-style-m4-complete-body-aeg and would it be easy to do or would i require an expert shit quality camera the pictures are better on my phone
  7. The eclan is an amazing sight, keep it bro
  8. Welcome im in the rifles, i can see you served with pwrr? What you want to buy is AEG's G&G are pretty good
  9. So a few weeks ago i ordered a RIF from sealcon for £170 for an SR417, it came about 2days ago but i have only recently had time off work to view it. http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/22216-sold/ as you can see the only bad points listed about the rifle is that its motor needs replacing but it is also stated that it still fires fine upon testing it today, i find its not working at all, the RIF is completely bent, there is a massive crack on the side of the rifle, the magazine seems to be sawed off and the buttstock is snapped. I sent him a message two days ago when i originally opened it telling him about a few faults i noticed within seconds but on closer inspection today i noticed alot more, he has not replied, how do i go about dealing with this i will attatch pictures shortly
  10. Buy small and get it tailored
  11. does anyone know anything about this company and if there rifles are any good. i not long ago purchased an ASR110 from them but i wasn't satisfied. but that could of been just that particular rifle not suited for me or my game play. so does anyone own any of there RIF`s http://www.aps-concept.com/

  13. I own a guy fawkes mask, its great for party's, and really winds the neighbours up when 30 people are all listening to heavy metal in the back yard drinking and all wearing the mask at 3 in the morning

the weight really isnt an issue, i can only assume its no where near as heavy as running around with a real sa80 with ammo, so really no issues. im thinking old woodern stock

G&g and tms are great, I don't like that the charging handle doesn't go very far back on the g&g though.

I do suggest looking at the bulle range on Flecktarn, ive bought the cheaper chest rig, as well as various other pouches and the quality is great

You could go for something like this http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/sdtmb4nx.html or http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/mctmb6ux.html, although I did go for the lightweight chest rig, with foldable dump pouch and low drag mag pouch on my belt for a lighter setup

  20. Battery stocks are solid to find on the internet for a decent price, especially ones that arnt crane stocks, can you guys suggest some?

    1. M_P

      M_P

What type of stock do you want? Have you considered buffer tube lipos?

    2. Hibernator

      Hibernator

Buffer tube lipos are the way to go. You can probably get set up with a charger and a couple of batteries for less than the price of a specific battery stock. Then use any stock you like! Failing that look for a DBoys MOD Stock - dirt cheap and will fit crane stock batteries!

  21. 1 day left of RNR, back to helmand province i go!!!

I believe Gen 2 has TBB and Low Res wiring, the only difference I thought was the FET?

Shinobi, I think you are right. Only about 15-20 Pounds price difference between the two generations.

  25. NO! never have a gunner as point man. its bad practice the gunner should always be the second man as he is "coverman" the pointman in the british army is the guy that uses a valon/horn, he looks for ground sign ( i know theyres no IEDS in airsoft so instead the point man should be scanning for better routes from A to B or looking for likley enemy firing positions) 3rd man should be the IC with a sharpshooter (best shot) behind him as his cover man. then throw in any spare riflemen behind them, and finish with a gunner
