I got a DPM yoke from somebody on fleabay today for £1.04 + £2.50 P&P - I've got 2 rocket pouches for my bergen so I've been watching out for a yoke to make a day sack configuration. -

Oh I don't know that ehobbyasia are going to be arses yet - I've told 'em I want a full refund immediately, because I only ordered the Madbull red rubbers because I was paying for shipping for the suppressor. They haven't replied yet, but yeah, if they don't soon I'll get onto Paypal about it. I don't want to be a real dick about it myself though, because I expect I'll want to buy stuff off them again @some point lol! -

So ehobbyasia just told me the suppressor i ordered is out of stock - ooooooooooooooooooooooh that annoys me! You know what annoys me even more? The uber-polite way they give me 3 options, none of which are "full refund" grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Well they had better give me a refund because I've gone for: Guarder OPS Ussocom Silencer* ~ £29.99 Prometheus Air Seal Chamber Packing - Purple Soft ~ £11.99 Shipping & Handling ~ £4.00 from Eagle6 Airsoft - who have a number of decent bits of kit going cheap right now. * I'll just have to paint over the trades b/c the reason I want a 260x40mm suppressor is so that it looks like the silencer is integral to the barrel of my G36KV project. Also just made a deal for an LCT AKM (wood furniture version), GP30 nade launcher, 12g CO2 Cartridge Adaptor w/ Pressure Gauge (Madbull Clone), & Moscart - £220 + £10 P&P over the next month. Oh, and the bloke I bought the ballistic lenses for my S10 from says he'll give me £1 for every customer who mentions my name Ian AKA Mos Daft - so get ordering ppl! -

Edit: except this... VIPER DROP LEG DUMP BAG LARGE ~ £16.95 inc P&P - it was the last one ffs! but that is definitely now it!! -

More: China Made Airsoft Plastic Molle 2X 7.62 Magazine Pouch x 3 ~ £31.50 inc P&P - Fleabay - I bought 1 pair last month to check them out & they hold L1A1 mags perfectly. With 1 of the rubber bands taken off they release them too! (Actually you can get them out with both bands on, but not easily, and taking 1 off doesn't make them loose.) Pair of Black Regatta Goretex Kecks ~ £8.50 inc P&P lol - Fleabay - for my black loadout & from ehobbyasia: Guarder Silencer for WA/KWC Mini UZI (with 14mm CCW Adaptor) ~ $72.00 - for my G36KV project. Madbull 60 Degree Shark Accelerator Hopup Bucking x2 (Red) ~ $14.99 - while I was paying for P&P, but also for my AKS-74U & a spare. ehobbyasia P&P ~ $16.00 & discount - $4.35 -

No CIRAS, but you might like this. For me from RSOV: '5KU' 4" Quick Detach Ultralight Vertical Grip for 20mm Rail (-45 TypeB 5KU-111-45) ~ $18.99 - for my G36KV project (lot of 4) x A.C.M. quick wind-up magazine spare keys ~ $0.07 - might turn out to be useful and for 1.1p each, why not? 'Hornbill Products' aluminium Air Seal Nozzle for G36C AEG (hb_5039) ~ $4.00 - for my G36KV project - I prefer the thought of metal parts where possible 'Patch Union' Small Skull morale velcro patch (OD) ~ $1.25 - again, for that price, why not? 'Loadout Master' W25 bulk double sided velcro cord (25mm x 500mm - Black) ~ $1.25 - I'm making a molle panel to attach to the left velcro panel & shoulder strap of my RICAS and this stuff will attach around & to the strap. 'Vanaras' invisible IR laser module (780nm - Class IIIA) ~ $17.20 - long term NV project. P&P ~ $11.00 - lovely! From fleabay: 3 x crossed rifle badges ~ £5.00 + P&P - I want the subdued one to replace the white one I have sewed to my DPM shirt. DPM Goretex Jacket ~ £18.70 inc P&P - not so much for airsoft as because my Bugatti raincoat got some paint on it and, as yet, I haven't been arsed to figure out how to get it off. I'm thinking acetone, but it's white paint on a black synthetic coat, so I dunno... S10 Respirator Ballistic Replacement Lenses ~ £16.88 inc P&P - bit of a fierce price but it saves me making them myself lol. -
I decided that since I'm using 7.62mm mags with my Krinkov, that would only make sense if the 5.45mm barrel and chamber had been replaced by a custom set up. Something machined in a dodgy underground workshop perhaps, since a cut down 7.62mm barrel would not have the more steeply pitched rifling of the correct barrel which would make it very inaccurate over anything but close ranges... Uploaded with ImageShack.us ...so what those mags needed was some urban guerilla chic!

I have an Ares L1A1 with original sling and possibly the top cover - a while back I bid on a wooden stock on fleabay, from Australia if i remember right, but i didn't have much cash to spare so i didn't get it. If it was you, i don't feel so bad: that's a great job. Refitted the correct semi-auto only fire selector to mine, as the previous owner had filed it for full-auto. I wanted to keep it firing @425 fps as a DMR. I've had problems though and right now she's dead!

That's beautiful. Sell it?

German surplus snow camo poncho from Patrol Base - tenner - just in case it snows again and while I was paying for postage: 25A fuses £3, a bitz box £1 and £4 for a set of A2A shims which are a copy of those made by SHS, including the copper ones i favour - so that when i get round to putting the airbrake piston head i recently bought into my G36 build, i can shim it while i'm at it. Also got a snow camo net from fleabay - 7' x 8' £6.70 inc P&P - I mean @that price i couldn't resist more fleabay stuff: some 20mm & 25mm black webbing, a little lanyard to attach a turbo flame lighter to my RICAS, a micro torch & bandage scissors for my med kit, an old style massive British Army scrim scarf & OD vest, some gold plated z-type banana plugs for the 5000mAh LiPo i recently bought, some nuts & bolts to add a sling mount & locking pin to my G36 build, 4 black G36 double mag pouches (only 1 of which i really need for my loadout but @£1.50 each it seemed churlish not to buy them all), 15m black 550 paracord (cos u can never have enough paracord), Royal Marines arctic suit (quilted windproof jacket liner & the matching zip-side kecks) - i'm gearing up for a winter night game in hopes i'll get to one , and a bunch of Deans Connectors - cos i'm convinced they are the way forward. -
Sounds like a contact on the socket has got bent inside the PTT, Ed. If it is that, you can fix it easily enough with needle nosed pliers.
-
Yeah that's the headset I have - well, the Elite II - I'm beginning to wish I'd done a bit more research and forked out for their EVO III now because it can take a throat mic without modification. I forget which PTT we went for in the end, possibly Element, but so far it's not given me any problems in the wet. Still it's the U94 design and i always attach it with the button facing down so that probably helps prevent water getting in around the button. I always mount my radio pouch upside down for the same reason (it has no drain hole either).
-
If you're wanting a headset to match your togs, I dunno enough about US kit to say, but manufacturer-wise I can personally vouch for Z-Tactical.

Glad I didn't bother then, Ed. They say it's the thought that counts and I did think about it. I just couldn't be arsed. The way my health is performing right now, every hour out of bed needs to be paid for with two back in and that's maybe doubled for out of my house... -
Oh the barrel is definitely a thing of beauty, and the stock muzzle break has a certain spartan charm, but it's like going to a normal person's night club with your shirt half undone to show a hairy chest and not wearing a gold medallion. If you have the equipment and you must display it, you should rock it!
-
It's too beautiful to make any tawdry references to sex acts I could neither perform nor enjoy... No, the nascent white van man within has been struck dumb! All that remains is to offer tribute - To be honest though, and I feel like some kind of slimy plastic surgery salesman in suggesting this, but since you've already decided this lily can be, if not gilded, bedecked about with the fruits of Blackadder's alchemy, I will - Apple Airsoft CNC 107A1 Style Muzzle Brake for Snow Wolf SN82A1 I don't mean that exact one necessarily, just something of the sort.
-
£320 for a loadout then - 'kinell, that's a bit of dedication right there! They are realcaps, right?
-
I've tried Craig, but no, I don't get it. It'd cost my life for using CO2 mags at GZ? I thought it was just FFZ and F&O that object to CO2 powered guns?
-
Well I expect that by now everyone not only knows but is bored of my opinion of AR15 varients, but I'll confess to wanting to give 'em another go with one of them, Tariq! How much do mags that can take CO2 cost... anyone?

You're right, I didn't. To be fair I thought somebody was taking the piss asking £50 for a MK VI! I just can't really bring myself to fork over a wallet stinging amount of cash for gear that soldiers have nicked! Edit to add: but £11.50 + £3.99 P&P seems fair enough for... Original Used Black Steel British Army Helmet -
Yeah, you succeeded and like Ed says, it's immense! How did you use washing up liquid to get the paint like that? Oh aye, and I came here to contribute pics too... Uploaded with ImageShack.us I didn't realise that what I was buying were RPK mags, they were advertised as AK74 (long) and the company has shut down. Still, I paid a pittance for 2 and they sent me 3, so I'm OK with it. 140rnd midcaps - I can't decide whether the incongruity of sticking large mags on a little AK is sub-zero or just wrong. I'm wondering what to do with the look of them also, because the 'bakelite look' plastic is horrible IMO. The real bakelite mags get bleached by sunlight, but I can't imagine this plastic would. Maybe there's something I can stain them with though. Or just Krylon them black?
