Think you can see where this is going. If you have the extra ££ them TM is your only option.

I have the TM. SCAR-l and it's great. 1. Materials - hard to beat the quality of the TM. Recoils. Solid plastics and full metal upper. 2. Performance - don't worry abit the lower FPS. leave it standard as it will out perform and out range most other AEGs. 3. Extra ££ - is it worth it....... HELL YES!! Recoil, bolt lock it's TM. I have never had a VFC SCAR but I had a BFC SR-16 (M4) and love it. Great quality rifles but the TM is just better in almost every way.

I use t-Rex shooting glasses with prescription insert. Only had one near miss with them when an Noob ND'd and the BH lodged I between the main lense and the insert. Still use them and for 25 quid they are a bargain. Tested with my old bar10 at 507FPS.

Mack where did you get the trousers mate? I love my truspec ones but would love some with the built in pads!

Fair play to you mate. If you like it then that's all that's matters. Must say I getting sick of the gear snobs and their bullsh1t griping about things not being perfectly as they should be.

This is turning into a right lemon! Had feeding issues with all mags and have had to place a small piece of soft side velcro in the mag well to force the mags forward for it to feed. So that is sorted if a little bodged! Now the thing is eating fuses. 4 in a day. I have taken the stock off......this is where the issues start. The rear connector on the stock tube has not been tightened properly which meant i have damaged them taking the stock off! The wire cover, which is the bit with the stock position holes in it, has 2 screws holding it in place. These screws have been threaded and the internal threads on the tube are so badly damaged they have fallen apart! Now i need a new stock tube and will be rewiring it to remove the quick change battery set up so i can use normal lipos. few pics of the issues:

WOW looks almost as bad as a 2 tone. I know we all use what is more or less a toy gun but that looks like something from toys r us! each to their own and if you like it then go for it. Good luck selling it on in the future.

I heard they make you the bestest good player ever in the history of airsoft. Personally a total waste of money. But that's my opinion.

Or you can look for a very hard to find Eagle6 7.4 3200mah lipo.

I have used viper gloves, still going strong, oakley clones, lasted one game and fell apart. Now use genuine oakleys and they are great.

My old BAR10 had ASPUK - piston ASPUK - cylinder head ASPUK - 150 spring SCS sear set WE hop rubber Dangerworx type B hop arm I also did the PTFE tape mods and made some leccy tape barrel spacers Just a little bit over you £50 budget but that saw 507FPS on a .2 and some great range.

I made my own inserts from old glasses. Quick Dremel and some super glue. Job done!!

I know I am bias as I am a SCAR user. They are great looking and best of not an M4. But the AGM and D-Doys look cheap! The stock is all wrong and just shouts cheap and nasty. As said rent and get a defence (if over 18) and save up for the best one you can afford. G&G or better still TM.

I have 2 recoils. I would not have any other AEG now. I sold my VFC SR-16 which is infact more expensive than a TM CQBR from new. SR = £510 CQBR = £485 Yes the mags are more expensive but it is worth it. If you go for the M4 platform you have a wider choice of possible guns. The SCAR-L, M4 Socom, M4 Sopmod, CQBR, 416 all use the same mags. I will be adding the 416 to my list in the summer.
