Feels solid, only on a G36C at the moment.

They have a bit of heft to them, feels much heavier than the 320 I have for my L85A3 but it's a more modern design, more to do with the attached handguards probably.

I have a G36K set up as an MG36 with a bipod, I'll pop the ugl on it to see how it looks but prefer it as an MG36.

Honestly I was going to go full mongoloid and go beta C mag + UGL with the hensolt G36A1 sight because I hate ergonomics, light weight and sights that aren't terrible, just couldn't be bothered paying for the mag at the moment and didn't fancy the marui tax for the manual winding ones

2 UGL's courtesy of JinxDuh very happy with my new toys & the best bit is... I need to get another L85A2 & a G36K to do them justice.

A fake PEQ2 arrived for my Mk18 Mod0 too, just waiting on the RDS now.

I've wanted a M320 for my G36K/A1 for the longest time - how's the plastic feel? Would be a shame to lose the bipod but it'd be awesome if it stopped my little venerable plastic JG sqeaking so much when you're holding it

So I tried it out last weekend and am very impressed. Straight away there are features on it that I hadn't realised I was missing like quick release at the sides for taking it on and off, the replaceable front panel for different loadouts, line retention on the shoulders for HPA/hydration.

Profile wise, it's actually smaller coverage on the torso that I was using but it feels tonnes lighter when wearing with my mag pouches and backpack for my HPA tank. It has a much better airflow system when wearing thanks to design and materials compared to my previous set up and is a lot more comfortable. I need to try it on a full day outdoor game but overall, I'm really pleased with it. The standard of manufacture is very high, and is something I can see myself using for years to come.

Awesome to hear - what size did you end up getting if you don't mind me asking? I tried on a friend's DCS last sunday and it was a little snug on me (but he is also much younger and much skinnier than me lol) but that could've just been the way he's adjusted it to himself (medium size)

I ordered one of the WADSN PTTs from ali and it's been working great, just had to return the pair of Not Comtac IIs because I bought the non active version so it was just a microphone/headset and I couldn't hear anything with them on 😅, will order the slightly more expensive ones from there when I get the spondoolies in.

Scope packaging gave me a good laugh. It is not scope. It is  Vision King

If you're sure they managed to sent the wrong item contact them. Mlemart is quite decent in my opinion.

It's less them sending the wrong item, more refering the asked for item in the parts diagram as the HK45CT mag catch which I assumed was just the same as the USP if they're saying it was - there's no point kicking up a fuss over a ten quid part that'll cost even more to return or whatever even if it's a little frustrating

Fifty-two great british pounds. Or, $486.02 HKD. Not a single thing fit properly or was even needed in the end (The USP wasn't saved by a new piston head, detent or hammer spring. Still light strikes a single time into venting out all the gas. Think the nozzle return spring's goosed because it doesn't flick back into place very authoritatively, and the new mag catch fits pretty awfully because I think they gave me a HK45CT one instead of the USP 9mm/full size 😐)

    Absolutely gutted.

Cocking handle's going if anybody needs or wants it. Will fit the VFC gas MP5 (obviously) and apparently one of the AEGs although not the one CYMA copied for the CM.041 (which this was to replace 😅)

  7. Can't even begin to imagine the amount of money I've pissed this week ordering stuff for Sunday's game. So many bits and bobs it's unreal, little wanky items from a million different places and it's cost me a fortune.

Also got a claw mount for the MP5 (ali) alongside some spare straight mags from DCA (unfortunately not the cool riveted ones! didn't know they did them!) so I've got a full combat load of around five magazines plus somewhere to mount the HW XPS for Sunday, considering the UTR's hurt, the AK won't go into semi, and the G36 won't feed ammo properly. Airsoft!

Also decided to grab a pair of Laylax 'high bullet' speedloaders from Land Warrior which I re-lubed because they sounded awful.

Also spent a bomb at MLEMart to get parts for the VFC USP working again, alongside a replacement cocking handle for the MP5 as the CYMA's just a clone of the VFC AEG. And a bunch of fake WADSN goodies from ali including a PTT button and a set of jarg Comtacs (that are the wrong version and will be returned soon)

And a baseplate o-ring repair kit from Lees Precision.

Think that's everything. Jesus Christ. I've got nothing left.

I've literally just ordered the Warrior LCP V1 today as I'm in the same boat. I've had the same plate carrier for 7-8 years and fancied an upgrade to something lighter and jazzier. I'd considered the Novritsch ASPC 1.Obut it only comes in one size and being a bigger lad, wanted something better suited to my frame. It should arrive by the end of the week so I'll send an update with my thoughts.

That'd be awesome - I ended up holding off for now and accidently ordered a bunch of other tat instead so it'll be a while before I end up making a decision so a second-hand review would be much appreciated

When my boy slapped his mp5 handle off, we looked at it for a while, then tapped the tube, drilled and tapped the "knob" then cut a bit of stud to the right length, thread locked it into position and job done. He can hk slap to his hearts content.

Which he obviously doesn't do at all now. 😂😂

I think I'll get around to this eventually when I can borrow some tools from a friend but it might be above my paygrade consideirng I'm a complete ape with hand tools, let alone power 😅

Ordered a VFC AEG/GBB replacement off MLEMart to tide me over until then, as the CM041 is a copy of the VFC MP5 and the exploded diagrams seem to match up part wise. I'll be soft and delicate with the replacement until I get around to tapping the snapped one with a dowel pin so I can go back to roughhousing.

I was going to just give up and get the actually available CYMA replacement/'upgrade part', but.. look at the fucking thing 🤢

I've possibly misunderstood what you are asking here - but i have always run a ZCI plastic hop unit, complete with ML Macaron (and i think likely, an omega nub but i can't quite remember)+the original barrel in my UTR 45. Out of the box i was getting weirdly inconsistent power and hop (entirely unusable), so had to switch out the hop  etc . And its been absolutely fine ever since....

I was getting average (but reliable) performance stock so decided to try the ZCI plastic rotary unit alongside a ML Macaron + gearworks omega nub, and while the performance was much better it just really struggled to feed for whatever reason. I was assuming that other people had modified their units to fit hence the request.

I did change the barrel over to a longer 6.03 (320mm) brass barrel out of a fucked second hand LT-52 I had lying around instead of using the standard 230mm 6.10 that comes as standard when I changed the hop and bucking, however - although since I put the old hop unit back in it's started feeding flawlessly again even with said barrel and rubber (the nub is internally fixed with the standard unit so I couldn't try the gearworks nub in there unfortunately)

So yeah, not really sure. Airsoft will be airsoft. If you ever end up taking yours apart for a clean or something similar I'd be interested to see what yours looks like to see if there's anything glaring that I could've missed

  11. Had a pretty catatrophic BB clog/jam on Sunday's game day with the UTR after it was struggling to feed with the ZCI plastic M4 unit that I put in it alongside a longer 6.03 and a ML macaron, and ever since clearing the jam of around 10+ BBs through the hop-end of the barrel caused by an unlucky shitty BB the power's dropped by almost half, even with the hop completely off and even with changing back to the original hop unit to fix the feeding issue for now - any ideas? (around 1.04J to 0.633-0.673, varies pretty widly - feeding has resumed back to normal since changing back over to the standard intergral nub DE unit though)

Was thinking the jam and the very few amount of rounds through it not knowing it was jammed [as it was struggling to feed, originally just thought it was that before I realised it had clogged] has done something gearbox wise, maybe some sort of damage to the nozzle or other air seal compotents? It seems to cycle perfectly fine still and the falcon-fire hasn't started beeping or getting angry yet so I'm assuming the gears are good still.

Any pointers would be appreciated - I'm really not looking forward to opening the thing up though. Considering that this was my workhorse "it just works" ''backup'' gun I'm a little mad at myself for tinkering with it and seemingly fucking it up, but I guess you can't make an omlette without a few eggs rotting, or something along the lines.

And things were going so well..

    EDIT:

Decided to throw in my desperate attempts to try and fix the feeding problem with the ZCI unit via trial and error here for good measure. If anybody's managed to change their UTR over successfully, please do tell what you've modified to get it to play nice, cheers. I'll take a second stab at it again if I can get this power problem figured out.

The the biggest difference between the to is the placard system that the lpc uses, not so much of an issue if you only use one platform but if you dont then the placard system makes changing a loadout much easier.

I have used a dcs but now use a rpc carrier, with the placard setup. I keep the appropriate setup in the case with each rif. So if i fancy a change or somethings fails it just rip it off and slap on the new one.

By placard system, do you mean the velcro panel that you'd also attack a pair of plastic clips into so you could change things on the fly if you had the panel for each platform? I use one in a very shitty manner currently to hold my UTR magazines loosely in the front-pocket velcro thing of my current rig and it's not amazing to be honest lol

In regards to using the sides to replicate the belt selt up, unless you have pouches which have harder mounting material or clips, and need the padded sides, ladder sides still take molle pouches but with a bit better air flow and less weight as you give up the side armour pockets.

Good to know, I thought it was some sort of posh propriety system and I had no idea really - still think I'm more interested in the cummerbund having a bit more substance for security's sake - the paranoia of things dangling or somehow getting loose drives me crazy so just a solid plaque of laser cut molle sounds more appealing to me so far

I might give the mate I mentioned in the OP a message and see if I can try his medium sized DCS on to see what it's like, no better way to see really

  14. After much deliberation I've decided that I've outgrown the humble viper carrier/belt setup of mine and want to get into some decent gear without breaking the bank, and after seeing a Warrior Assault Systems rig in person I've decided to get one myself - although I'm at a bit of a crossroads. I can't really tell the difference between the DCS and the LCP and was wondering if anybody had any info on them that would direct my purchase - I'm looking for one that has a solid MOLLE cummerbund to act as a replacement for my battle-belt so it'd be between the DCS or the LPC V1.

Currently don't use any M4 magazine platform stuff at the moment and I've seen that you can get the DCS with G36 or AK pouches bundled, but I'm not too sure about the LCP having the same options.

Would really appreciate some input as it's a lot of money [relatively speaking for me, anyway] to put down for an airsoft carrier so I want to make sure I get the one that's best for me. Cheers

  15. Understand that you're trying to shift it and I can't really help with that but I've got to ask - what plates/mock plates have you been running in the 6B23? A friend got one a while back as a 'ukraine war trophy' and wants to start putting together a little RUS loadout but obviously they took all the kevlar out of it before they sent it over so it's very baggy at the minute

  16. 18 hours ago, Cannonfodder said:

Fair enough, but as you say if the sites are happy with it then so am I.

In that case mine must be faulty or missing as I've regularly had it give readings of over 300 fps with .2g bbs

Wouldn't call it faulty tbh, gas shotguns are very fickle by nature and will just do random shit so you're probably fine lmao

  17. 2 hours ago, Cannonfodder said:

My shotgun isn't a SGR12 but is a gas tri shot and most places ask me to load 1 bb into a shell and chrono it like that

This produces bogus readings as you're leaking two whole barrels worth of gas which leads to a worse seal and lower reading of the one shot that does happen, but if the site's happy with the results then it's good lmao

TM/GE 870s + the KSG have restricted output built into them anyway, the barrels don't run the entire length of the barrel + there's some sort of thing with the valve inside that prevents the power going above 280 or so FPS on standard gas so I wouldn't even worry about the reading being lower than stated anyway as it's way below limits

  18. Friend picked up the Perun equipped AK-12 a good few months ago and he's ran it through the ringer and it hasn't missed a beat if that's anything to go by. I've heard the zenit styled PE PP-19s are awesome too, so I can't see them the PPK-20 being any different.

Their PP-19 has a 250mm barrel and the PPK looks similar in size so I'm assuming it's the same? Not quite sure on that one honestly

Perhaps drill out a hole in the knob bit and put in a suitable length of dowel. All the stress is on that area.

I was considering drilling a thread for the existing part that broke alongside adding a threadlocked grub-screw to hold the two together with more strength, but I don't have the tools at the minute so I just decided on an off the shelf solution for now. Might experiment with that idea later though

Hard to say for sure, but it doesn't look like an allen key bolt, more like a roller pin. Probably needs a punch (or screwdriver) and a hammer to tap it out.

For future reference, you might be better putting this in Technical Advice > Electric Guns.

Gotcha, I mostly just lurk and post in other people's threads so I wasn't too sure where it should go. I'm pretty sure the mods have moved one of mine in the past though.

Also I'll give it a little go with a pin-punch tomorrow, I just threw the thing back together for now and I can't be fucked opening it up again (even though it's really not hard whatsover honestly)

  23. Hi all,

Recently picked up a lovely CYMA CM041 w/ a torch handguard, but unfortunately due to roller delayed related mind control I ended up fucking the charging handle that's within the cocking tube, I know: no way - I was going to order a replacement but thought I'd have a look beforehand so I could see if the guarder steel replacement would fit but I can't even get the thing out - any pointers?

The grub screw/allen screw that's inside just either free-spins or doesn't fit a single one of my allens, and I've tried several different sizes. Am I doing something wrong or do I just need a hyper-specific key to fit it?
