  1. Strange - but good - even at higher FPS than you've been running the ZET usually catches. Is the spring weak under the ZET?
  2. Sounds to me like your bolt is not travelling fully. Look at your floating valve and or nozzle for gas leak issues, or light striking on your gas exit valves, sounds like lack of power.
  3. I have TYPE 'A', the TYPE 'B' is identical just even lighter. It can only be a good thing! Faster cycle!
  4. Hah yeh well we all know most upgrades are the complete opposite!!
  5. @camden I have used the UAC lightweight bolt, it definitely speeds up the cycle time, needs less gas power to cycle properly, and reduces recoil. I had zero issues with it, however the reset roller is not very well supported, I machined a steel bush into it for the reset roller, I can do this again if you wanted.
  6. Google Rhop it's well documented. Essentially an extended concave contact patch. Applies a lot of hop with very low pressure, centres the BB extremely well. The SixG Nub will hop most weights of BB, but again it is very good at centering the BB. Heavy BB weight is desirable in gas guns due to joule creep, which allows extended flat flight, which is also less affected by wind etc. Yes smaller the barrel higher the pressure, however it is best to have the BB float on a 360 degree cushion of air, without going into it deeply, 6.03 best compromise power (distance) and accuracy in MWS, 6.05 best accuracy. Id only use 6.01 in a pistol, and it needs to be kept cleaner than usual.
  7. An Rhop'd Prommy is VERY hard to beat, TBH just a Prommy and good bucking is always a legit upgrade I find 6.01s are great in pistols if you keep it clean.
  8. IME i really don't rate CJ barrels If your not looking for silly FPS the best accuracy is 300mm 6.03 / 6.05 by Prommy or PDI
  9. The Autobot bucking has a concave shape to it and an elongated contact patch; The former helps centre the BB for consistency, the latter helps apply more backspin and give more range. I have found them to be inconsistent and are easily damaged. I think the diamond contact patch hurts accuracy as the BB will tend to run slightly off centre / take an inconsistent path and exit. Then also the Omega Nub is a good product, the concave design is desirable, but it is soft and malleable giving another variable. In the case of your setup @marine you have a concave nub on a concave bucking, not ideal. The SixG Super Nub is very hard being brass, this gives consistent hop application and concave shape to a conventional bucking (TM / Modify) A conventional bucking has a much more uniform contact patch across the width of the barrel, so the BB is centred better (due to the concave nub) and it exits the contact patch more consistently because the contact patch is essentially a straight line across the barrels width. All of these points are also true of an Rhop contact patch, the only difference being the length of the contact patch is vastly longer than a conventional bucking. All of these points are why Rhop is so effective and consistent. What I'm saying is, I think you'll get much better results with a SixG Nub and bucking
  10. Hi Bernt! Welcome to MWS ownership!! All MWS have nigh on identical internal workings Stock circa 300 FPS on 134a / upto 330 on Green SixG Super Nub is great drop in range and accuracy upgrade Longer barrel will increase FPS, but not increase accuracy Floating valve alterations are needed to reliably and efficiently increase FPS Dont get too hung up on FPS, these MWS guns punch well above their weight! I dont see the need for more than 400 FPS on 0.2g, once you go higher youre increasing wear and efficency / consistency will suffer As for GBB pistols, if you want performance to match the MWS then it has to be Hi Capa
  11. What forums are full of useless information and users!
  12. Ive been staring at a computer too long today soz all
  13. And the whole hop unit is different inside! I dont know why TM went backwards with a job soooooo well done on the MWS, those flexy stamped steel hop arms
  14. Thanks most of the comments above compound what I was trying to portray. All the 'upgrade' parts in the world don't necessarily make a bad design good. Thats great to hear the AE hop unit allows use of a conventional GBB bucking, but if the alignment or hop application isn't right it still won't shoot well. Not saying it isn't cock on but a lot of upgrades fall short because of the latter. No there isn't anything stopping you being a cheat and using the MTR to shoot with but what does that gain you, other than justification of a previous claim, it's not like you're selling the AE product I was just excited by your statement and would love to see it in action!
  15. Oh I don't doubt the potential of any gasgun, just I wasn't aware of any bolt in upgrades that actually work. Ive never found KWA to particularly accurate and rangey Steel targets are good to shoot, obvious audible hit. Google maps measured distance.
  16. Errrrr really!! Please can you do a shooting video? Have a strange attraction to the Vector but I've always felt it a bit er useless range/accuracy wise and I don't play enough CQB to justify the outlay!
  17. Re bolt carriers - the UAC aluminium one is nicely made and really speeds up the cycle. Much snappier and better in the cold. Its worth spending a little time with a file and cleaning up around the area the trigger reset hits the BCG.
  18. How on earth did everyone gloss over the fact that THIS MAN GOT A FREAKIN VECTOR AT HIS WEDDING!?!!
  19. I cut the lever down so it's flush with the top of the handguard, then wedge a tiny bit of butyl tape (like blutac but way better) behind it, the hop adjustment is then stiff and impossible to accidentally knock.
  20. I know it's good to have cheap products but does annoy me that they can get away with ripping of Pencott materials 😕 Same the world over in this day and age tho.
  21. It's hard to say, depends massively on how much shooting you do! Full auto actually uses less battery power to by the way Most sites have on site charging or at least a power source, you could always top yours up at lunch if you've been heavy on the trigger! Doesn't hurt to carry a second battery regardless.
  22. Just stick to a healthy TM bucking
  23. Yeh I realised my comment was retarded as it's clearly anodised aluminium so nice and light!
  24. The BCG weight looks like a great idea, I mean I'm not into 'weight' but loving the 3 way rollers, should be slick!
