  1. Just wow! Where is the real @Wo1f that answer was too techie
  2. Most likely dirt or dead bucking: clean out barrel, check bucking isn't contaminated and is clean, check the BBs aren't picking up dirt from inside the mags.
  3. Going on your nuprol chart (which is good gas to use BTW) you want to maintain around 9 bar operating pressure.
  4. Oh yeh great workout for sure! i find the gun itself is quite well balanced, you need a sturdy comfy rig for the mags, they're the dead weight!
  5. My new platform for my new 'offensive' pistol build, been waiting all year to pull the trigger on this one
  6. Exactly. If you completely remove the tube and the mag is fully topped of with gas (liquid) then there is a very large variation in FPS output due the larger extremes of pressure in the mag, as well as the increased potential of liquid gas vent if first shots are at an extreme angle (IE shooting up or down from a tower for example). The whole idea of the tube is to create a volume for gas. The original TM tubes do this to the extreme limiting the amount of gas storage available. By leaving some tube your having your cake and eating it - more gas capacity / shots per mag and good shot to shot consistency.
  7. On the old mags the fill tube (MGG2-83) used to simply pull out of the fill valve (MGG2-84). I personally havnt had my hands on the new(?) mags, but looking at that image it does indeed look like they two parts unscrew from each other. Either way yes you want to remove the fill tube and cut it in half roughly, I go 10mm longer than the needle on the fill valve. This ensures theres plenty of room for gas rather than overly liquid. Its good practice to have a good look inside the mag and check there is no swarf or debris in there, blow it out, lube the seals with silicone oil and reassemble with some weak threadlock to the screws. Partially fill with good oiled gas and rotate the mags so the oil can settle into the seals etc.
  8. Just take your full valves out, pull out the full tubes and cut them in half, then push them back in. There is absolutely nothing unsafe with this mod. And you've still got genuine TM valves.
  9. With the look of the 'feel' of the gun I think it'd better suit an external silencer of a more military look personally Mmmmmmm UBR Actually just barrel with long hand guards look awesome 👍
  10. RS Acog 😍 Nice build!
  11. Such a satisfying and fun gun, with a realistic action which is primarily the reason for playing! And so well made
  12. Personally I don't rate them
  13. Are you wanting to build a military rifle or race gun? I am super keen on the Fortis Rev rail for a lightweight build, plus its right at home for a CQB length rifle. Is that your intended use with the MWS general field and CQB work? I.E. not DMR. The install is easy, there are lots of disassembly videos online To do it nice have a delta ring spanner and a little punch for the 2 front sightpost pins. Make sure to turn the hop adjustment right off before attempting to remove the outer barrel from the upper receiver
  14. If you go to the bottom of any page on the site there is a 'mail' icon you can click on
  15. With the brass recoil spacer you have it was a nice mild recoil, but fast I'm sure it would help, but I think the gas usage is marginal, it will use less because there's less weight (energy) required to move it.
  16. Yes, I have used the UAC one with an upgraded recoil spring and I though it was great, I personally think the MWS bolt cycle is a little on the sluggish side. This really sharpens it up. Also the weight saving helps gas consumption a little.
  17. Oh dear! A 15" rail could be nice for the new build 😛
  18. It is rather nice, looks to be 13-15", wonder if theres an 11-12" I like the lack of excessive upper RIS, and the weight/heat holes
  19. Love the status report hah! So that's at around 400fps yeh? When are the MWS short mags coming out!? They'd make that gun! (Visually)
  20. Hang on G36C, that a WE GBBR? Does look pretty, that rail a PITA then!? You left your weapon light on
  21. Yeh, I have a Magpul MOE handgaurd but you've still got the FSP weight up front, a free float rail that is designed light - like the Fortis or NOVESKE NSR for example - means any weight is kept closer the pistol grip. A Bocca isn't really much lighter than the standard TM RAS system, just a different mounting interface. Don't get me wrong a polymer handgaurd def saves weight. I have a proper Magpul (not PTS) one available 2nd hand if you did want the easiest route
