I honestly don't know how I feel about this, if national service was a thing when I was 18 I reckon it would have made a huge difference to me personally but I wouldn't want my kids to do it. I can only imagine it'll stir the loins of the older generation who already turn out to vote Tory in higher numbers than the youth but the younger voters will be more likely to vote against the Tories for this reason alone. As a jock I typically vote SNP as not other party 'ticks all the boxes' for me but after the changes in the SNP in the past year or so I can see Labour stealing a lot of votes north of the border too this time, possibly my vote as well but I'm undecided at the moment.

Dunno tbh, I was only ever issued the SLR in the TA, seems bizarre to me that the sling is reversable but that's understandable for it's development, my query is more about how it seems several airsoft manufacturers first thought seems to be to fit it on the wrong (right) side.

Is it my imagination but almost every L85 rif I see online has the front sling loop on the right side of the hand guard, is there something I'm missing about the famously non leftie firearm or what??? I know it's easily swopped, just seems odd that so many are set up this way.

if you want less rattle glue a small spring under the bolt catch, it'll still work but without any issues as TheFull9 mentions.

The carbine is the closest I've seen but seem to be plenty variants with flat tops.

Is there much call now that the F90 is available? I reckon an H-BAR AUG would be snapped up first & it only requires a new outer barrel & bipod.

^^^wot he said^^^ The bb's aren't the problem but even taking a plastic/rubber replica could cause you big problems, best to wear the kit, enjoy the trip & fill the holster with mars bars on the way there & croissants on the way back.

I honestly don't know if I've watched all the 'new' ones but IV, V & VI are still my favourites, probably more to do with nostalgia than the quality of the films tho. Was on a school trip to London when A New Hope was premiered in the UK... begged for Stormtrooper figures for Xmas and never go a single one (took me 40+ years to find out there were none at the time). I'm adamant I saw some in Harrods which was impossible/improbable.
