Nah, just went on a shopping spree to boost my collection with some long awaited rif & pistols. An Specna Arms M16A3 with M203, A WE 6" Luger with Snail Mag, & a TM Mk23 socom with lam.

100% On Sunday we were defending our 88's and thinking I was pretty well covered I spotted a 'red' making a dash to get our flag, as I popped above my cover to stop him in his tracks I spotted another 3 or 4 reds to my left... I got hosed big time, don't even think I got a shot off.

Don't you need a license for an air rifle these days? A 2 tone IF would surely be better?

France has a long history or doing their own thing when it comes to military smallarms, but even they are changing to H&K(not sure if they'll build under license or buy in). Personally I expect the UK will go down the AR15 family route as parts & equipment are easily sourced from many suppliers in many countries. Time will tell if the USA forces change to the new caliber for NATO but I don't think other NATO countries are as easily swayed as they were in the 50's & 60's.

It's complete on 2 sides with walls being erected as and when they can, it has 2 levels but they're not safe to use yet (a marshall occasionally uses the upper level to... marshall). It's a huge site with bunkers, & cover all over the place, Checkout Players of War Airsoft on facebook for more site pics. Open on the inside at the moment, don't know if there are plans to build within the fort.

My 4th skirmish at Players of War Airsoft & 56 days from my first gameday, which means time to buy some RIF's. I'm not photogenic but here's some pics from today & the previous gamedays... Honest, I was holding the fort up in one pic (very Health & Safety conscious in my old age), The dodgy night pic is from around 1997/98 long after I left the TA so playing soldiers with springer L85A1 even back then. I'd like to add a big thanks to the site owners, marshalls & other players for the fun & games, I don't get many Sunday's off but have enjoyed crawling through the mud every time..

Well as someone who knows feck all about the subject my tupence worth is... It's been unbalanced for a while and the vibration finally got the better of the axle/gear/ shaft.

Basically, it's not the size that matters.

Did you read the comments on the youtube vid that Colin posted? There seems to be a couple of solutions to the issue. Must admit I never paid much attention you were having coz you put L82 in the title, My L86A2 failed & was fixed in seconds by my local tech simply because one of the contacts hadn't sprung back in place after I refitted the lower. (not related to your issue but worth knowing as it seems to be a common issue too).
