  1. Not a huge fan of shotguns but these 3 are/were on my want list. M870 arrived today courtesy of hoggym4.
  2. Just went for a nosey on your profile (nothing malicious), You already have at least 1 RIF & sidearm, you've made enough posts/comments to know how this thread would go. I'm going to assume you already have an UKARA or had one, just follow the cosplay rules at the event you want to attend. Don't know about any list of retailers but a quick google produced this... https://www.just-cos.co.uk/ This is an airsoft forum & we occasionally have non airsoft questions like this that often turn sour in the replies. Not sure if you would be required to buy insurance for your hobby but it's certainly worth while spending a little time at an airsoft site to attain an UKARA registration (not a permit or a license) which will at least provide you with a 'defence' for having an imitation firearm, in my short time as an airsofter it's become apparent that some people (airsofter, cosplayers, reenactors) have fallen foul of UK law and provided the media with a very easy story (true or ficticious) which casts a very big shadow over our hobby. What ever you decide to do please be aware of cosplay rules regarding firearms at events, enjoy yourself & be safe. I'll repeat myself... it's certainly worth while spending a little time at an airsoft site to attain an UKARA registration, you'll probably find out you enjoy the experience, most of us dress up as a character when playing, some as milsim & some as ballerina's with pew pew's. You could appear at almost any site you'll have a mix of giggles & interest in equal measure in your direction but we all enjoy our day & you might become the first T-Rex badass at the site you chose to attend.
  3. The one I've ordered is a 'modern' version with picatini rail on top, I have a plan to have it as close as I'm prepared to go without spending a fortune. The end result will be posted in the gun pic topic. A slim classic hand guard will be fitted at some point... just not straight away.

  5. Just so you know, a claw mount is/was in the classifieds yesterdy.
  6. Just ordered a claw mount, got an ICS MP5 due from JinxDuh & have an SL-20 sitting in my spares 'box' ready to get fitted ala Iranian embassy stye. It'll never be a perfect clone but will make me happy.
  7. Duh... it's a springer, no need for direct impingement.
  8. Presumably, but not planning to using it in game, got a set of 1908 webbing just in case I change my mind.
  9. We have one in Scotland too... C$%T
  10. Like/love my S&T MkIII, I'll add a MkIV some day. Shame the hop adjust is so obvious.
  11. I drilled out the bottom rivet & spun the clasp 180 so my pistol mag pouch would close, going to rivet it in it's new home but not done it yet.
  12. subtle as kick to the nuts.
  13. I just keep bubble wrap in mine, much lighter to humf around a Scottish woodland sight.
  14. what attachments you planned for it?
  15. Being my day off I've popped a couple of canisters & several bb's through it and I can rest easy, it's a respectable 1.66j but a little hot on 2.5's at 377.6fps for my local site.
  16. It's purely for display, I added some canisters to an online order when I saw how cheap they were. Was just surprised how spicy it was.
  17. Well done M8, I lost 10kg last year but put most of that back on over the chocolate season, my DPM's were a tad tight on their last outing.
  18. What? you mean the DPD guy never delivered them? he must have got peckish. What's the correct process, do I submit the claim or you?
  19. Living in sunny Scotland my heating has obviously never been needed this winter. besides, I got fed up moving pews to take a pic on the wall.
  20. I'll run a few mags & canisters through it next week to see if it makes a difference. Yeah, it's non blow back too so all the gas is pushing the bb.
  21. Not a new pew but it was away getting sorted by our local tech for a while, got it back a few weeks ago (shoots like a dream now), thot I'd try an LLm01 on it purely for the looks.
  22. Holy Thread resurrection... Just got some C02 'canisters' for a Makarov that I've had for a while but never fired, are Co2 pews usually spicy? I've had a read through this thread & pretty much know how to restrict the output but it's 5 chilli hot at the moment. Gonna put a few canisters through it to see if that helps, just wanted some input from those in the know.
  23. Currently have 11 pews fitted with bipods, just for looks really, 5 are snipers, 3 LMG's, 1 Famas & 2 foregrip bipods on L85's, only 1 of them are a pew I use in game tho.
