Utter waste of two decent GBBRs. Even with the pistol, I wouldn't run 0.2s through it unless maybe I was in CQB.

Welcome back! I was away from airsoft for a long time before returning to it. The use of LiPo batteries and MOSFETs was part of the culture shock of returning but I haven't used anything other than LiPos in my AEGs in the past couple of years.

https://www.airsoft-hub.com/item/38913-dpd-aeg-bundle That has to be the most expensive Nuprol AEG I've seen. The case won't push the price up that much and the bargain bin mags most certainly won't either.

Easy decision for me. I'm equal opportunities. I shoot anyone on the opposing side. If you're well enough to play and shoot, you're well enough to be shot.

Airsoft newbie advice on Ares Amoeba AM-008 setup HELP
Galvatron replied to Krusty's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Adding to what Skara said, the proprietary ecosystem and dubious quality control are the biggest problems with Ares' AEGs so when they eventually do break, you'll be in trouble sourcing replacements. There are thread adapters that allow you to fit the female CCW end on the male CCW end while attaching the female end of the adapter to the male CW thread barrel. Bullseye Country Sport could probably help you out. I have a cheap Ares PDW in my collection and I bought it knowing what I was letting myself in for if something failed. I'm definitely one of the lucky few whose Ares AEG hasn't shat itself on me in the past couple of years I've had it. -
Yes, it was tough at 19 but I don't think I was an exceptional case in working for what I had apart from what my student loans paid for. I spent 6 months saving up in a part time job for an AEG instead of mooching off others like some parasite. At that age, most of us started low and worked ourselves up. Ryan just comes across as someone who's watched too much reality TV or seen Youtubers and thinks he can be fast tracked without having shown an exceptional skill or talent that warrants it.

Until ChatGPT can still be identified by that fluffy wankery, I won't take it seriously. It just looks like you're insincere and can't be arsed to promote yourself properly.

Don't knock it! In his mind, that will only "justify" his need for a GoPro and a ScopeCam or something with decent image stabilisation. ________________________ "I got bills to pay" Ryan K What a shamelessly ungrateful gobshite! Does he have a mortgage, council tax and other financial responsibilities at 19 that we mere mortals can't possibly fathom? How does he think we pay for our kit?

Christ. He doesn't need to write Milton or Tolstoy but surely if he wants that much money, he can make an effort to itemise what's for sale? I give it a repost or two before he slashes the price and puts more of a salty rant than an actual description of what he's selling.

'Tis true though it shows a delusional mindset if he can't strategise to start small then build his way up.

The older I get, the more I understand why older people in my youth were so irritable. Does this kid have no concept of humility? I'm curious why he needs a GoPro or a Scope Cam. Granted, the image quality is better with them but he can find himself a generic action cam (and a suitable mount) for a small fraction of the price that will give him a much larger fraction of the video and sound quality. If he was good or prolific enough for a donation or sponsorship of a GoPro, he wouldn't need to set up a Just Giving page to mooch for one. He strikes me as the choosing beggar who would spit in the face of someone offering him a free Happy Meal because he wanted a fillet mignon.

Throwing a dummy is fair game but there are no circumstances during gameplay under which he should pick up IG/BFGs other than his own. "I saw it on YouTube" is a dickless attempt for the OpFor to rationalise himself.

I had a bit of a scorcher yesterday playing at RIFT's reopening of the Ridge (until it truly closes again). The booking page was open about there being no hot food available on the day so we were advised to bring our own food along - the cooking facilities were reserved for Redcon. Bottled water along with canned and hot drinks were available along with some snacks. The host also ran the White Sphere Tactical pop-up shop with a Specna Arms replica of an HK 416 being the prize for the Sunday raffle. The land owner had removed the portaloo so we had to make do with a single chemical camping toilet in a tipi tent. There were no feral players so nobody made a crime scene of the toilet and didn't clean up behind themselves. With the lack of rain recently, the ground was mostly dry with some clay dust being blown about by the wind. There were still a few spots where there was deep wet clay you could lose your boots in if they weren't laced up properly. A couple of rentals got a gentle reminder to limit their full auto shooting to a 2 second burst and there was one player who rightly got two bollockings and a final warning for taking off his eye pro in the gaming area. About 70 players were split into Blue and Red teams. The morning "Total War" session had Blue vs Red team dropping their opponent's flag and keeping theirs raised/raising theirs at the bases across the site. Blue was able to gain an advantage early both through strategy and an imbalance of players as several Red players returned to the safe zone early to hydrate so they could pin Red team to its starting and forward respawns within the first hour. In the interest of keeping the game alive, Blue team agreed to fall back to allow Red team to push again but Blue team was more organised and had a sizeable group of players who maintained a strong strategy and communications. Some players were switched in an effort to offer some balance ahead of the afternoon session, also forced by some players sitting out either entirely for the afternoon or for the final game as the heat took its toll on some of the players. The afternoon was two 50 minute games. First, Red team were attacking with the objective of recovering gold bricks from 3 locations and returning to their HQ (different area from their respawn) where after 25 minutes, Blue were allowed to attack Red's HQ and drop their flag. Red team could raise their flag again provided they weren't hit in the process but if they failed to do that by the end of the 50 minutes, their score would be nullified - the flag was kept up at as the whistle blew. For the second 50 minute game, the roles were reversed so Blue team attacked and outscored Red with the gold bricks collected and returned to HQ within the first half so Red team was forced to attack Blue team's HQ and drop and keep down the flag by the end of the game to nullify Blue team's collection. I didn't actually catch if Blue successfully defended their HQ or not but I'm under the impression they did and thus won the afternoon session. It was a very hot but good day of play without much (that I could see or hear) bickering between opposing sides. I fielded a Specna Arms SA-G12 EBB as my primary with a WE Hi-Capa 4.3 as my sidearm.

https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/air-guns/air-rifles_1/bolster-armouries-aegis-advanced-m4-aeg_i78585 1) Seller watched a YouTube video and thought spending more money ensures you get the best gun 2) Seller gets fed up after blowing £1500 on a custom RIF built to his spec and putting 5,000 BBs through it 3) Seller tries to sell his custom gun for £1200, thinking he's doing us a favour when: He's only reselling the gun minus VAT He had the gun built to his specifications so unless he finds that unlikely buyer who wants exactly what he has or something really close to his build, it's not even close to worth that/ 4) Seller gets ridiculed on a WhatsApp sales group and doesn't understand only putting 5,000 rounds through his gun doesn't mean it preserves the value he thinks. TLDR: Another Bolster Armouries special doesn't meeting the seller's expectations on trying to resell it

I always take that claim with a pinch of salt regardless of who makes it. Just because the seller didn't fire it, that doesn't mean a QA technician in the factory, distributor, retailer, prospective customer in the shop, etc, didn't fire it to make sure the gun worked, do a test fire to see if they liked it or to see it was within legal limits for example. I assume it had been fired a few times before at some point between being manufactured and landing in the hands of the seller. At least 3 of my guns have test fire cards/sheets in the box so I know the "never fired" claim is untrue anyway.

You almost have to admire his persistence and confidence, even if both of those qualities are the polar opposite of reality.

https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/electric-powered/double-eagle-m904c-bundle_i79226 A resprayed two-tone whose handguard looks way off-colour from the rest of the gun, not to mention that the outer barrel is also thread-stripped. Somehow despite the far from pristine form and function, the seller thinks the additional mags, battery and thirteen-in-a-dozen dot sight push the bundle up to on par with Super5ives pricing for the gun brand new (or £30 more than Patrol Base's OoS listing).

It may be worth recalibrating your trigger.

Being a bank holiday weekend, we should have seen this coming. https://www.airsoft-hub.com/item/38509-nutropol-m4 Asking for £180 used on a Nuprol rifle worth £100-120 new and the seller can't tell M-LOK from Keymod either.

Very sad to hear when a site shuts down but as they said, there is a silver lining when a new site opens up! 😁

While ownership of an IF for a minor may be legal as a gift from a parent to their kids for example, the implication is that it would be used in the presence of a responsible adult. As implied, it only takes one moment of fooling about to escalate very quickly to a life-changing injury or worse. Even on private land, you can be held liable for any injuries that happen and I don't imagine you or the land owner have a liability insurance policy protecting you. I don't want to rain on your parade as I am glad to see future generations of airsofters join the sport. I just think you're better off playing at an insured skirmish site or a shooting range for the point of safety, even if there's a cost to it.

https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/electric-powered/krytac-kriss-vector-two-tone-amp-pitt-viper_i77212 Is he listing what he paid or what he wants? If it's the latter, he's in for disappointment.
