https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234860087339?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=CuhUcITJR0q&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=uwMTeZHeShe&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY £15 for some used shoelaces anyone? im reading that more like if you can pay / collect today then the price is negotiable but if you’re a “hold it till payday” dreamer then the price stated is the price to be paid 👍🏼 -
No problem , I’ve been at the shitty end of the stick with border force through no fault of mine ,it was an entirely legal importation just utter incompetence from the “system” . I had to push very hard to get a written letter clearing my name 👍🏼
-
if you can’t do it yourself or get your site to do it drop me a line and I can help 👍🏼

Have you’ve personally checked your UKARA is live on the database ? And the UKARA address matches the shipping address ? I see a lot of folk who who just think it renews automatically and sadly without the usual size 10 encouragement it rarely does 😕 other than that I’m at a loss for the legal aspect , usual border farce fuckery

Was it declared at full value on the shipping labels ? was it declared as an airsoft RIF or “toy gun” ? both those are things they love to take your shit over …

G&G G2 gearbox + Perun G&G ETU + Warhead motor looking to fit a warhead motor into a G&G G2 version gearbox , my understanding is that the active braking on the G&G ETU cannot be switched off , so fitting the warhead would not work ? Is that correct ? so , would fitting a Perun G&G ETU upgrade mosfet ( which I believe the AB can be toggled on & off ) work ok ? Originally was looking at an Aster but I’d lose the mag stop feature ( I think) which I’d like to retain . so … help please 😛

Scraped in a mornings walkon at Dogtag airsoft , wet and wild springs to mind but some great gameplay , didn’t see or hear any problems and everyone seemed to be having fun , rolled out with the cyma Mk18 which for an out of the box gun performed flawlessly on .28s , picture was pre downpour but the trusty smock kept me warm and dry -
What are you're rig/vest recommendations
JimFromHorsham replied to Gavin W's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
I source most of my gear through EBay , mostly for collecting sake so for me all that’s required is a little patience for the right piece or a little cash on standby for that bargain popping up This Eagle MPCR in excellent condition was £85 , absolutely bomb proof rig , comfy and loads of load carriage should you want it . -
I would just buy from U.K. retailers, if you want solid no quibble lifetime warranty buy Vortex from any approved stockist , if you want Eotech go through UKtactical , if you want Aimpoint go through Edgarbrothers . Holosun , Surefire - TacticalKit .

I think that’s the HSGI Silverthorne … even bigger if I recall 😂 -

thanks , I may start by switching just the hammer spring out for a known unit , and that’s a very good point about the mag height . As for the GHK … after watching someone recently return 3 in very quick succession all with slightly different faults … that’s why I’m here on a guarder build 😂 airsoft lol , all a bit shit really 🤪
-
Ok , I’m not an expert on these things by any stretch but I’ve built a few pistol kits over the years and most have come good in the end . currently building a complete Guarder only parts Glock 17 ( gen3 if that helps ) , CNC steel slide , all Guarder internals . complete guarder lower frame , all steel internals , this is the pre built version . Everything fits together beautifully , no snag ups , no sticking slide , racks well , nozzle running very slick and returning as it should . Trigger , hammer all very positive . however … the shooting bit 😑 running on propane the hammer is what can be best described as light striking , it certainly won’t cycle more than 1-2mm and either does a very weak bounce or just vents the gas completely .I’m assuming the complete lower has an enhanced hammer spring fitted as standard but can’t confirm this “by eye” and can’t find the product listing and a break down on these parts . This by the way is using a stock TM magazine & valve and a 9ball purple router ( which runs flawlessly in my other glocks ) testing with a stock WE EU17 mag we get a bit more oomph but still not enough to even cycle a bb . If I fit the Steel slide assembly to a totally stock TM lower and it runs very well indeed , locks back fine albeit and as expected gas efficiency is poor where only say 12-15 shots are full power .load the mag to 10 and it will cycle every shot and lock back , every time. flipped round . Completely stock TM slide on the Guarder complete lower also runs well with no light striking at all , good power and no reported problems. so before I get into inside it again anybody got any ideas why the Guarder slide set up and guarder lower are light striking or just venting . I’ve done the usual light lube , loads of racking and everything is running as smooth as possible . help or pointers required regards jim

to my knowledge and in the past they don’t hold much or any actual stock , just take your money up front and then order it in from the USA , I think you’ll get your stuff ok but it may take a little longer .
-
Had another order arrive from them last week for some parts , they sourced something for me that was marked out of stock so it took an extra week to process , but once shipped was here in 5days . They always reply within 24hrs on their pop up messenger . id say 5-6 orders from them over the last 12months , parts only orders but it’s always been smooth sailing 😎

for me it’s always been Chest rigs for the woods , PC for more urban settings , you generally do less up / down / prone / repeat indoors or in and around buildings and it’s usually a bit faster paced , unless you are doing some sort of extended game , impression or weekender just keep it light and functional . Like many above I prefer a split front chest rig , fixed pouch Eagle or LBT being my favourites . You can get some great deals secondhand on eBay . -

wondered when I’d start seeing these pop up places , they’ve been drip fed on eBay over the last couple months from £50-£100 , paid £75 for mine (without the plastic parts ) -

Why does everyone always say “ it’s been painted but that’s easily removed “ but never remove it 🤷🏼♂️ -
Mines been shipped , got in a few days ago before the price bump , and some ASW points that needed using up !
-
Only use standard WE parts in all mine , in the early days Ratech parts were a bit better but I’d say WE’s QC has stepped up and generally above average and fit for purpose , plus readily available and cheap . Maintenance is key , dry gas and lube what you want to lube sparingly .
