Propane user here , add my own lube where I want it , not where there gas router wants to spray it . I favour greases over oils as they hold their place for much longer , nothing silicone based for metal on metal .

I was there for the morning session , wet but fun , and saw you guys mooching about , a very full auto heavy morning which I can only put down to some questionable hit taking on both sides so folk seemed to be ramping up the bb slinging .but nice not to see any real aggro first hand because of it , the out of bounds stuff seemed to be more of a problem than usual and I think that was more poor communication between the Marshalls , we watched one tell half a dozen guys they were out of bounds only for a follow up group to be told oh actually your good to go . no pics of me today , just a snap of the gun , a G&G Sr300 with a bit of spice inside which performed very well indeed

no , had to source that from overseas , it’s a clone but absolutely spot on , steel legs , fully adjustable and takes down like the genuine/original LOGA version . Once the kit is complete I shall refoam the case to be a bit more like the original issued set. Someone offered me a TM PSG1 scope for my VFC and whilst it’d look the part I do like to shoot the things too and I don’t think the TM one would last 5 minutes on there , optically it’s shite as well ? for not much more money I picked up a Schimdt & Bender 6x42 (£125 vs £175) so not exactly clone correct but you can’t win them all ? , dressed with the classic yellow front cover and a rubber eye cup if you squint it looks the part . if I can find some Stanag ring mounts and lose the Picatinny for a fair price I’ll be a happy boy

none of it is an issue if you have the right tools , I’ve done a few MK18’s for people and each one has come off with no issues , I see people saying they needed to cut them off and getting in a right mess but like I say with the right tools it’s not a problem .
