  1. I've messaged him, it's £65 for both the silencer and the grips. I think he'll put the logos on as well as part of that price. Will send him some files to see what can be done. It's the same guy BTW. Will send him to the forum.
  2. Godamit! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/185221049151?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=LR34F1yeRHO&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=tna5mbwtskm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY More stuff to buy. 🤣. I thought they were going to put the OCP logo on it though 😢
  3. Whelp.... JB weld has arrived, a nice lump has been applied to the affected area. Little mi I dremel is coming tomorrow for me to sand it into shape l. I'll then see about reinforcing the area once the side panel has been refixed.
  4. I moan like an old woman about that, but like being shot. It's part of the game. I will admit to walking to respawn, then when well out of the way, having a sit down for the requisite time it would have taken me. Way I see it, it gives me more energy for running at the enemy so they can light me up again 💡😁
  5. Dude you're paying to be shot as much as you shoot. If you're not getting hit, you're not taking part. My only wish is that respawn points weren't so far away. 🤣
  6. I love simple solutions to annoying problems.... Just ordered 50 from Amazon for £3 👍
  7. Don't discount motor height - my L85 was miles out. Would explain why the battery is OK is some guns and not others. On top of that, an 11.1v Lipo would work OK, but a 7.4v would really struggle.
  8. He's not my dog, but no there wasn't - nor on the other 4 that were there. These are all working dogs; and that one was a two year old in training hence he was on lead as the little fecker was off retrieving clays during the set-up test pulls 😆. The owner was joking that he wasn't the sharpest tool in the box. The others were all perfectly behaved; not one even flinched when the guns fired. Whether or not they wear ear protection when out working I couldn't tell you, but a Sunday morning shoot they just chill out of the way because they know they're not doing anything and have a nice water bowl up by the clubhouse. Both really - my dad has a small holding and the rabbits are at his fruit and veg. Pigeons are vermin anyway - although quite tasty at the same time. For the first time since they've been there (20 years +), Deer have become an issue so he's had to put up fencing to stop them getting at the trees in the new orchard he's planted. We're wondering where the legal boundary is for "farmers" to be able to shoot Deer with a shotgun, because those things can really jump; but hopefully the fence will be enough as the freezers are all full.
  9. He's a lovely puddy cat - he just turned up a couple of years ago. Decided to adopt my dad and step mum, and has been keeping busy with all the bunnies ever since. The boy was very annoyed that he was 2 for 0 this weekend. So now to shut him up, I just meow at him 🤣
  10. Forgot Satan's efforts: This was bunny number 2 of the weekend.
  11. Not an Airsoft day, but we were real steeling it with clays yesterday. Me, the boy and the ol' man went to Stumbletts near Horam, where the ol' man is one of the organisers. We didn't realise it was a competition day, so the stands were trickier than usual, but managed a decent (for me ) score of 24/50, the boy beat me AGAIN by one, but we managed to both beat dad - but then his eye's are terrible and he has new photochromatic glasses which made his vision even worse in the sun LOL. Bear mind I only get to do this a couple of times a year, and the boy has only used grown up cartridges and 12 bores 3 times. The boy also spent two days up dad's field with an air rifle hunting bunnies and pigeons. However, they got the better of him this time - although dad's cat which is both decrepit and pitch black, and called Satan, managed two clean kills just to mock the boy. Fun times.
  12. I read a few... But will have another read in a bit as I've forgotten them... My YouTube is paused in the middle of the Taylor Schabusines trial (that is some freaky shit). Have edited the thread title too. 👍
  13. Right -taking that side plate off is both easy and undramatic and allows easy access to that bit that needs rebuilding. Is this something JB Weld can handle? Or is the plastic not likely to bond/take the strain of the spring?
  14. Yes, your gun wall is something I have to keep from showing the Boy. Now I'm trying to talk myself out of buying a fecking ELCAN. Fuck this hobby.🤣
  15. I did chuckle at the irony.... Several people made a similar observation at REDCON 2 the other day 🤣🤣 Truthfully that's why I got the style of L85 I got.... I really want a blowback version, but I didn't want the realism that much that it was going to cost me silly money. I had a very hard limit on what I was willing to spend, and. I wasn't goi g to pay the kinda money a SUSAT or ELCAN goes for.
  16. https://airsoftdirect.uk.com/angry-gun-ics-l85-a3-in-fde/ I didn't pay that much for it though.
  17. Makes me feel better about my 1 of 100 L85 purchase recently even if I did break it after three skirmishes.
  18. My bad - totally didn't see the word "replica". I did say I was dyslexic 😛
  19. Well, new unit arrived and fitted - comparing the two it all makes sense now. Apart from me not really knowing how that spring does its job, but never mind. What I'm also now thinking, if I can undo the 5 screws on one side, could that plastic wall be reconstructed? Or will all manner of springs and wizardry come flying out? If that would be OK, purely from the flying component stand point? Then we would have a spare unit on hand. Looking at it a bit more, there is sod all material there forming the tunnel for the slider and holding that spring back. I'm wondering, if you can't remove the side panel, if I can just put the slider back in without the spring, build up some material in a way that the slider can still slide, then get the spring back in. Any suggestions on the best thing to use to build up the missing piece of plastic?
