  1. In the good old days you could two finger double tap the address bar and the browser would do it for you. God knows why they disabled it as a feature.
  2. Funny you say that.... both my tablets and phones have a battery preservation mode that locks the charge limit to 85%. I need all of my phone's capacity for work; but I use the feature on my tablets as they spend most of their time plugged in. My car's V2G software recommends stopping at 90%, but car batteries have all sorts of overheads and hidden capacities.
  3. You're not wrong and Big Clive would be proud. When I played with mine, they seemed OK. Cell volts were pretty even when I measured them. I would not use them as anything other than a lunchtime booster.
  4. Cheap and shit, but also handy.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265074825616?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=3i3bnMwdQ66&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=tna5mbwtskm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  5. I have the storage function, so I use it. Probably OTT, but it's no effort either. The storage function can put power in as well as take it out depending on the SOC of the battery. Discharge mode does just that.
  6. That's a cracker. What style are you going for overall? Remember this is just glorified cos playing. I have a full Osprey mk 4 plate carrier. Others look like they've been chasing Willem Defoe through the woods, and some just look like SWAT team members.
  7. Welcome. Any 7.4v battery with the correct connector, that fits in compartment will do. Post a pic of the connector and the battery compartment (in the stock) in the Electric Gun help section and someone will help.
  8. Does it make a big difference to the run rattle? Shame we can't do forum bulk purchase of BBs
  9. Of course. Safety briefs are by and large boring as we've all heard them before, a few humorous infills helps keep people engaged and listening.
  10. Nope - never knew it was a thing. Time to engage Google Fu. Do we mean this: https://www.airsoftcentral.co.uk/odin-innovations-m12-sidewinder-sound-dampening-silicone-buffer.html
  11. I have just burned through the last on my stock of their 25s - have been fine up until yesterday where had two break in two different mags. I'm putting it down to impact damage from running around in an Odin on my plate carrier.
  12. Has there been a thread on how to choose the best hops/bucking/nubs? I had a quick search, but obviously these key words are rather common on the forum. Or is this such a nebulous topic that it could cause open warfare in the forum?
  13. That's what she said. I'll see myself out.
  14. if you mean this one - https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/double-eagle-m904g-honey-badger-w-fire-control-system-edition, then it's actually pretty sturdy - the issue is the stupid end cap is easy to break, and battery options are a little limited, but there are extensions available that are equally rubbish. I don't like the look of it and would prefer to change it too, but standalone Stocks seem horribly overpriced and I don't know what would be a direct fit.
  15. That is a sign of responsible upbringing - as they say as part of the AWA safety brief - guns cost money to fix... the NHS is [kind of] free. That's something I've always appreciated about the fields we've played, everyone pitches in to help when they see something amiss. Glad your lad was OK though. Also, Kayden - the kid that did the running for us on that one - knows the field as well as any of the Marshalls and has been going there for years. He and the other lad on our side we call Lando are known to just run everywhere and interfere with the opposition. Frankly most of our team barley made it to the Church before the whistle went too. After lunch they should have rebalanced the teams more, but there was such a large number of first timers and kids in groups, that is was more a day for people to have fun, and it was only the regulars really going for actual objectives. I tend to stick to 25s and 28s, but I know next to naff all about hops other than what they do. I need to experiment more, but my garden is not long enough to really test this one out. I could open my side gate and shoot from my neighbours garage up the drives up the side passage through the garden, but I think I'd get a visit from Plod.
  16. Just so happened that this popped up on my YouTube feed in the bath last night.... https://youtu.be/JtYlIpIq2Xk?si=uUledUApwJ95canr
  17. Hope the boy doesn't read this....but it was a real banger of a day at Special Ops. About 50 - 60 turned up, but a lot were new players and younglngs. One of the Marshalls had their kid's 15th birthday there so a lot of teenagers rocked up which was a little worrying at first sight, only for them all to be really great kid's who made the most of their time. A lot of regulars were missing, which was shame, but not a surprise given the heat. Games were the usual fair....zombies to warm up, then some attack and defend. We on the skins side had the most familiarity with the site, so the day was a total wipe out, with one game won in 90 seconds, which on turnaround I think we timed them out.... the objective being to run through the church entrance, get the bomb and then get it to the tent. Had a few awkward moments, one being during Team Deathmatch, where I snuck round a tarpaulin barricade only to find a poor solitary teenager. I decided to switch to my pistol to be kind, only to find it wasn't cocked....but poor lass didn't see me until I put my RIF down and cocked my Glock and ....well...🤣🙊. The next was almost a carbon copy but with said teenager's friend....all I could see was a face mask....so face mask was what was shot, again though, I could tell it was a youngling, so switched to the Glock because the L85 was right in the limit again. Baby Specna and Double Eagle didn't get a run today as I was using the boy's Longer Specna we picked up secondhand from here. A very good £120. Thing is as we bought it, plus a good LVPO and bipod and was shooting like a laser. Only problem being a little mag fussy. L85 was a little temperamental, but that was due to overspin because I put an 11.1v in it. Switched to 7.4v and it was a dream until the riser came lose without my noticing - apart from having to aim into the next county to hit anything. Lunch as always was free, tasty and plentiful. Water was guzzled by the gallon (11 litres by my count) but I'm still thirsty as anything and peeing treacle. Fan powered antifog Once again was flawless, although the battery died about halfway through the afternoon. Looking forward to going back in a couple of weeks.
  18. I know, but it's more authentic, so I'd probably live with it unless it was really too low. That ACOG thingy is more more for function....which it proved today. 👍
  19. Been swapped now for something slimmer. One day I'll be able to justify a nice Elcan.
  20. I would, but all bar one are in the car ready for tomorrow. 🤪 Just to parry @Duff Beer though: Well, i think she's pretty even if she goes twist to the left.
  21. Or in my case - they look nice, but shoot like shyte.
  22. I have a red dot holo sight on my now Cursed Build DE 904G's LVPO (the scope is almost as long as the Pew and I can see the BB's landing LOL). Looks stupid but works surprisingly well.
  23. May the BB overlords smile down upon your efforts. 😎
  24. Are these the same people that ran Sentinel? Will definitely give the place a try, their Facebook page isn't exactly loaded with information though - like an address LOL. Shame they were being vandalised when trying to build the site.
