Yep...sounds about the same for my boy too

90% sure I'm going....I'll be the very tall one in an Osprey plate carrier with a LOADOUT patch on the front. 👍
-
I'm pretty sure it isn't that (i havent takebone apart for a couple of weeks, but good call on the other two. Should be testing out those glasses Monday 👍
-
I couldn't see any missing pins, and closer inspection shows that this pin is probably older than this pew. Time to take the pistols apart again methinks Which bit dude? I can feel the spring in the gas tube.
-
Well, it ended up being two parts lose.... Took the front grop off and this little plate came out too. Can't see where either came from (limke I said, the pin could be from another pew). Also found the castellated nut that holds the outer barrel in place was totally undone. Can't beat airsoft QC 🤣

There are some anomalies, which I am hoping was down to the fact there were a few pre-fired BBs in that bottle. More worryingly, a metal pin has fallen out of my of the pews - it could be a Glock, the 1911, the Auto 9 or the new G36. Sad times. 😪

Welcome! You sound like a busy bunny. 🤣 Trying to get to Driver Wood myself on Monday.

It's been a while since I had official First Aid training - it might even be as long ago as being at university (24 years) when I was a counsellor - where we had to potentially deal with anything from pissheads falling over after the bars shut through to suicide attempts and campus muggins. Thankfully it was always pissheads... Or Stoners knocking on the door looking for Rizzlas because they knew there was always two people on duty. 😁

I have had a bit of a roller coaster on that one. A full mag will be well over 400 using ASG Ultra Air Gas. After a few shots it bounces around between 250 and 340. I shall load one up and post some chrono pics... My butane bottle adapter isn't coming until next week. I'm hoping the much bigger bottles will give a more consistent fill pressure.

I've also had success with Blue. Yellow and green are a bit shite - White gets dirty too easily.

Yeah - the little handle bit on the end is plastic with a rather small looking pin holding it on. So will look at getting a spare in...// [scroll forward20 minutes]... you gotta love oriental websites and their horrible layouts 🤣 Found it on page 37.... http://en.ratech.com.tw/english/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=176:rag-we-094&catid=27&Itemid=119 And in the UK - https://www.milspecsolutions.co.uk/gas-blowback-parts/we-rifle-parts/we-g36-(999)-parts/WE-G36-(999)-Cocking-Handle-Set.html for my future reference as much as anything... https://www.milspecsolutions.co.uk/ra-tech-we-g36-g39-series-charging-handle.html Gave the barrel a nice clean, so will have a play with some mags tomorrow and see what can be done with the hop.

Double Eagle M906C - Internal upgrades / tinkering

Circuitry in the FCS? As for the selector, could the heat have warped something that shifted once you took it apart? -
The key word there though is "negligent". Unless you're trying things like a tracheostomy, applying a tourniquet, plaster or splint isn't going to get you in trouble. Anyway, as any good tradesman knows. The only first aid kit you need is a bit of leccy tape and some bog roll.

I've got a laser distance meter for work, which I wanted to use for range finding and target designation..... problem being, I can never find the fecking dot 😆

The forever increasing amount of ghillie suits
Dan Robinson replied to JVacation's topic in General Discussion
I recall one game where the boy nearly got crushed by my own fair feet. He was lying in long grass in nothing more than a basic DPM outfit, boonie hat, and, I think, his two tone m16. Me and two others walked straight past him and his mate .... Good job we were on the same side 🤣🤣🤣 We were even looking for a "crashed drone" , so actively scanning the area for things. Totally confirms the field craft aspects of being Sneaky Bois. -
Perfect, cheers. BTW, I'm taking my pews at the weekend, but my knee is still Donald Ducked from last gameday, getting a new brace today, so we'll see how things go for Monday. 👍

Pretty certain acetone will eat orings, unless they're a special type. -
Hopefully it doesn't turn into this club.

Couple of questions if you dont mind, as it's my first GBBR... How do you adjust the hop on this....I'm guessing clockwise (as you look down the barrel) increases? Given a reasonably full gas bottle, how long does it take to charge the 30 round mags? Do they do slightly higher capacity mags? Say 150 bbs rather than 30. How compatible are WE spares - I've read about the pot metal used in these things 🤪. How strong is the folding stock? Would I be nuts to use it for a sling? As always, tah in advance.

I run a heating and plumbing business..... I have bought one of those Adapters for plumbing blow torch gas. Should be with me next week. 😎 -

Lemme go check..... They fit fine in my Osprey rig, although, not the official pouches - the flap doesn't reach over enough. I have some Viper pouches on it with elastic straps, and they seem fine. On my lightweight rig, they don't fit the regular pouches, but might go in the internal zipped ones. -

Well, the buton was pushed (well the phone was tapped).... AA G36, GBBR... Stuck a spare red dot on there with a foregrip[ and the mini PEQ box I got the other day - which has a surprisingly effective strobe and torch function). Came with two mags, but I bought a third for shits and giggles. Surprised by how much gravity it has and less creaking than I was lead to expect from the vids online. Standby for some potentially daft questions in the Gas Section. Recoil is pretty effective too. -
Got a bottle coming from Amazon tomorrow... 👍

Sweet.....pistols we'll have with us, its the RIFs that will likely be staying. I'll keep them at my ol' man's house in the cellar with his real steel. So warm and dry. Going to look up this gt85 stuff now. Cheers all.

Any tips? The boy's Bolt action, and his L85 won't be seeing action for a year, and eventually the same will the case for my pews. So what's best? I'm assuming just cycling them a few times every few months is enough, then opening the gearbox to check grease and orings once a year. Pistols I'm less worried about, but keeping mags under pressure is the main thing?
