New 2 airsoft, wanna test real stuff?

Dah fuck did I just read? -

But just look at how much quality you're getting with that charger!!!!! Not too sure about the carpet though. ooof. -
Have you got the anti reversal latch in the right way? Post up some pics of it taken apart and just before you put the case back together.
-
It was either that or Budweizer. Bloody football sports bar with their nasty lightweight drinks.... Rugby is far superior.
-
Not with my hangover... I managed a chocolate milkshake and 40 minutes shut eye. ?
-
it's my AA G36 GBBR, out of the box it either yeets bbs at 500fps, or the thing just rolls out of the barrel.

Little update.... Went by Bespoke Airsoft this morning and was greeted politely by staff saying "were closed for aa few weeks to relocate to High Wycombe " Fair enough. They also said they'd look at my pew once they've settled in. Also fair enough. I have a skirmish day planned for near there anyway. Jury is still out, but I'm still prepared to give the benefit of the doubt.

A good rule of thumb for most of life i find. Unlike the selfish twat currently hogging the car charger at Cobham services at 90% charge and only 20% charge speed (because that's how batteries work) My hangover agrees. Why the fuck was I mixing Rum, Jack Daniels and Corona last night? I feel as rough as all balls at the moment. ?
-
Isn't that classed as "posting" and therefore a naughty? I'm going to my dad's for some real steel shooting this weekend, so won't be there either.
-
I thought GBBR conversions were though the magwell and AEG were some form of smart arsery through the pistol grip..... a Learning thread for me too this one ?
-
Plus one for being careful with springs - I think me putting in a stronger spring was the final curtain for my Specna C12 gearbox recently, along with an 11.1v battery.

It's a hideous gun anyway (IMHO). -
What brand BBs are best nowadays? Bang for buck.
Dan Robinson replied to Alex34's topic in General Discussion
If you're firing the BB's whilst supermanning your way down the field, then your bb's will be at 300FPS plus muzzle velocity, and your relatives will be contacted to collect your personal effects. How long the BBs continue to travel at that speed I can't be bothered to work out, because frankly this is getting a bit too Monty Python. LOL -
I don't know - looks like a lot of screens to be replaced if you keep shooting at them.... I'll get me coat.

Anyway to take out the stripped screw on handguard?
Dan Robinson replied to Astronautcheng's topic in General Help
Depends on the driver's torque. Often chuckle when I see a householders DIY tools compared to some of the toys we tradesmen invest in. Pretty sure my driver has a more effective hammer action than my brother's Ikea drill. ? -

Dan Robinson replied to Astronautcheng's topic in General Help
Is it a polymer hand guard? One thing I've tried (not on pews) is to heat up the, slightly larger, bit on a hob/blow torch to transfer the heat down the threads. You then make use of different coefficients of expansion. Obviously don't melt anything vital. -

It's fun being on the other end though, and doing the Matrix dance around the incoming bbs Hurts your back a bit when your old and fat like me. -
Where's the fun in that though ?

Not before I blow the fucker up ?

Yeah just done it after using up some Google Fu. One cell is totally dead. Other two have a healthy voltage. Funny how the brain works. I knew the voltages of the cells were added together. I just didn't twig it would be cullmulative on the red wires on the balance plug. Just the Deans. Not going risk pushing a charge on it.
-
Might be being daft, but are you saying put both probes across a red each? Not using the negative? Thought that would upset the meter. Sorry I'm more used to AC voltage and volt free switching circuits.
-
No need to apologise bud.... They're certainly weird, but I had the wires out of the balance plug, measuring across the negative in the Deans. I've got a better meter to try, but I'm wondering if two cells are somehow working in series? Balance plug is mullered now anyway ? Interesting maybe, but I just dropped it accidentally, and two reds touched, generating some entertaining sparks, and a toasty battery outer shell. I wouldn't have expected that (black wire was still secure in the balance plug).
-
8.1, 8.2, 4.08 across the balance plug. 8.17 on the Deans.

Nah, I've tried all sorts of modes with crocodile clips, leccy tape and a tin foil Sowester. The charger just yells in pain. Which the silly fecker should have done before killing one of my newst batteries. Still Saturday morning fun will be had zeroing in me SA80, and perhaps adjusting the hop on my newly repaired Speccy... I have a 7.4v where a wire snapped too close to the cells to be repaired safely. Between these two and my FLiR, it has not been a good month for be and batteries. Said FLiR battery is registering 0v which is very odd.
