  1. The lunch thing is a bit of a deal breaker for me nowadays - I don't mind gazebos and porta bogs - but I want a hot lunch. If it's a burger van - I don't want to be crunching my way through a gristle burger, which I why I probably won't go back to Reforger anytime soon. Had a another good day at Spec Ops yesterday. Aforementioned lunch has now switched to Carlos' Meaty Meatball subs, which certainly filled you up ready for the afternoon. Only 50 or so people there, but it was a very well spirited day with good hit taking and lots of younglings rushing around. Half a dozen of them latched on to me as if I was some kind of Pied Piper, but it was still fun. One of them went "can you shoot me in the foot" whilst we were waiting for the first game to start, which he instantly regretted; btu it entertained his mates at least. Getting LMG'd in the face whilst charging an objective wasn't the funnest experience, but it seemed to be a day of buttock and cock shots so a change was as a good as a rest there. LOL They're opening up their new CQB site in February which will be interesting - I'm volunteering for a weekend build to help things along.
  2. Ideally you want to get it down to about to about 50% state of charge. If your charger can't do this automatically (it's about 3.8v per cell) then you'll need to do some practice pewing.
  3. When are you going to be using it in anger next? If its only a week or so, then I wouldn't panic - just keep it somewhere safe.
  4. It was bloody gorgeous to watch - especially the shot of the rockets all firing underneath and then the mahoosive explosion. Will be fun seeing all the corrected footage as it comes in. Was speaking to the boy on the phone at the time, so had YouTube on pause - think I'm about an hour behind realtime. Got my batteries on charge for tomorrow - only taking two pews + handguns. Hopefully there won't be any tech problems. LOL. Amazing how close it was to the renders that people were making over the last few months.
  5. I thought exactly the same thing 😂😂😂😂
  6. Yep I'll be there tomorrow. Got a couple of yout9 channels streaming now... fingers crossed. So far so good.
  7. Bloody thing has been sat there for weeks and they only discover it's broken now..... its not as of its an airsoft pew frs.
  8. That's what happens when people running social media are brought up on social media. It's a continuation on what I said the other day about critical thinking.
  9. Everyday Astronaut is starting a stream at 6am, but when the actual launch happens is anyone's guess.... but feck it...watching something bigger than the Statue of Liberty doing multiple loop de loops is worth an early start. For anyone not in the keeping, this was not CGI
  10. Anyone looking forward to the launch tomorrow? Not a Musk fan, but watching the Starship development over the last few years has been bloody interesting as well as entertaining.
  11. Is there more context to the chart? I'm minded to think that with that kind of voltage drop temperature is playing a part due to pulling too much from the battery. Happy to learn though.
  12. I fel for you there brother....between my original Faceache profile, a work one I never used, a confusing and unnecessary Instagram account and whatever the feck my two vr headsets are linked to, I have no fricking idea what is linked to what and I only use faceache to download airsoft pics anyway. I hate social media.
  13. I've come to the conclusion that a short to medium drive (by my standards) is worth the reduced hassle of postal fuckery.
  14. Tried hypermiling my Transit van once - fully loaded I got over 600 miles from it. That was the most boring week I can remember - I'll stick to my regular 290 - 320 miles per tank thank you very much.
  15. I've yet to buy a powerbank that remotely resembles the badge capacity. at least in terms of mah's. I was actually pleasantly surprised that my older batteries are pretty close once you allow for errors and safety overheads. I have a gameday this weekend so might do a check of my batteries for cparacity - does mean doing them individually though.
  16. Photoshopped and cropped differently. Not sure that you can take two pictures with identical shadows like that.... Amber Turd springs to mind:
  17. There's lots of that going around various businesses and industries - and the lack of critical thinking in the populace means that companies more often than not get away with it.
  18. After purchasing such frivolities, I think you should resell that Elcan to offset the drop in funds. *cough*
  19. I would have thought that the insurers would be the same for both...I certainly have never had separate policy providers if only for the hassle factor... mind you i've also never displayed them either electronically or otherwise (although do send them to contracts if requested). Out of interest what is the cover up to? I have to go to at least £10 million for public and £5 million employers. But then I'm dealing with private and commercial buildings, rather than soft squishy humans.
  20. Yo. Said it many times....decent pew can be had for sub £200. Bang another £100 over a few months to add mags and a sight of some sort and you're golden until the the bug bites. Then you're £6k in the hole on a hobby that your other half detests, but at least gets you out of the house for a day twice a month that ends up in you returning a sweaty mess as apposed to a drunken sweaty mess (depending on your life choices of course).
  21. Oh grasshopper..... us old folk have memories back to times long past. Trust me....you've been. I on the other hand have not. Nor have I been to the Roku distillery in case you're thinking of inviting me to somewhere I'd find interesting. 😉🍻
  22. Well at least that shyte has finally found a use 😂😂😂😂😂
