When the Raptor Grach was announced, I asked my local shop to get me one in with an extra mag, mount etc. Ended up selling it back to them due it being awful. About three years later, walk in and see another one sitting on the counter with the current owner asking if the shop owner wanted to buy it back (They didn't). I was chatting to the guy and he was explaining what was wrong with it, and I was responding to all the issues with "Mine did that too", only to then find out the guy had bought it from the shop owner 3 years ago! I offered him a reasonable amount for it, to which he accepted and so now one of the coolest (IMO) GBBP's is back in my collection! And yes, it's still barely useable... 😭

Is the Cyma the same size as the raptor? I’m wondering if the Cyma holster will work with the raptor Grach 🤔 Update: Somehow missed it yesterday, but patrolbase says the holster will not fit the raptor Grach. Such a shame

Fitted the ZCI hop unit with a maple leaf macaron 50 and omega nub. It didn’t like it at all, jams etc. For the first time in years I’m using a different hop combo. Seems the standard ZCI stuff is perfect though. 302.6 on 6 shots before moving up to 303.4 😳

Maybe the combo of Macaron and Omega nub is causing too much impingement in the chamber (as if you have the hop wound on full) and causing the issues?
I have a ZCI and Maple Leaf MR in my M733 with, I think, a little "bow tie" cross section nub and that hops well from nothing to upwards at 45degs

I found that MR's are really better used with inner barrels that use 6x4 windows. They still work with ZCI but the smaller window doesn't really fit it that well. I've got a video somewhere showing the difference from inside. It's part of the reason the MR gets a bit of a bad rap. Both Macaron and MR could do with a slightly shorter lip though.

As title suggests, is https://www.outdoorandtactical.co.uk legit? They have some items that are out of stock everywhere else, at a reasonable price which is already two big red flags. Anybody used them recently?

As Jez said, start with the hop. Try a maple leaf macaron 50/60 degree, paired with an omega nub. Cheap and cheerful but makes a big improvement in most replicas.

All of the options I found wouldn’t be delivered in time for the weekend, so I got… “creative” I ordered a G33 kill flash from Aliexpress which turned up last week, but didn’t fit my G33 (???) It was slightly too small for the LPVO to actually screw in, but it sits inside fine and then I used the dust cover to hold it in place

How would one go about finding the right size for a threaded scope protector? If it helps, I have a vector optics Grimlock. It has a thread inside the tube, but new to me how to go about finding the size.

Pistol seems to be around the £120 mark new, Rmr is £30, spare mag is £25, suppressor maybe £10 new, £20 for the mount. Using the general rule of thumb (60-70% of retail) it would be at the £120 - £140 mark as a package. However like above mentioned, Vorsk isn’t a very reliable brand in the eyes of many, and with the general cosmetic wear it would be around the £100 mark best case scenario. Personally I wouldn’t waste the money on hpaing a Vorsk pistol but each to their own!
