    Just watched it...  And yeah i kinda had the same reaction from guys in my range this sunday...
    Guys were like - oh its a GBBR AK, noice, what manufacturer - TM - oh, is it that new one? is it real steel? - yes and no - meh not a real steel receiver... not interested, after i fired at the enemy seconds later the same guys that talked to me previously - damn that sounds nice, can i have some test shots - * after firing couple rounds * - damn, thats nice! i got to get one...
    What i want to say, its really well made, there is no play between parts, no jankyness, everything is smooth, really a quality product so it is easy to be loved, only the hop up arm has to be fixed to accept nubs and it will be shooting heavier bbs no time.

    Anvil Airsoft TV and Clearwater Airsoft did a BIO BB test on various airsoft gnus two of which were the AKM and the MWS. Phil Bucknell of Clearwater Airsoft really likes the AKM and he quoted that it's really growing on him . Oh, the results of the BB test which are interesting too lol

    Hey guys,
    I've told you before to try and use Begadi VSR5 60degrees buckings, well, I am sorry, but I have to take my words back.
    They make a good airseal but its made from not good enough rubber for gbbr's on 15+ oC temperature it gets too swollen up and then it starts acting weird especially on full auto mag dumps.

    IT worked well when i was playing in the summer ( 25/30 oC), but yesterday my gun started acting on me and I found out that the reason for misfires/doublefeeds and bad full auto mag dumps - was the swollen bucking.
    TLDR: best to avoid Begadi VSR5 60degrees for MWS/MTR systems.

    This bucking only went through ~500 rounds

    Regarding the 4.5 and 5.0 nozzles on shorter than required inner barrels. It shouldnt work: if you put a standart tm nozzle in longer barrel it gives an absurd amount of FPS but has no gas efficiency and etc. Those nozzles are adapted for longer barrels and to my knowledge they should give LESS gas output for them, so if you will put it inside SHORTER barrels then they were constructed for the gun either wont shoot, will give a low fps, could as well jam.

    But hey it's just words of caution, let me know your findings on this one.

    Thats what i thought, its the BB loader thats damaging the gas routes on the G&P nozzle, sand it back so it matches the height of the TM nozzle

    Silicone isn’t for metal to metal period.

    You always need a lithium/moly/gun oil for metal on metal.

    Silicone oil is for certain O rings and seals only.

    @TadsJ2 let me know when you want to get rid of the empty receiver.

    MWS oracle, there's something that has puzzled me for hours today. I insert a mag in my CQBR lower. No problem. With the upper and lower assembled ( note without BCG ), the mag release gets really stiff and sometimes doesn't fully reseat itself on the selector side ( i.e it doesn't become flush with the receiver ), I have to push it back into position. Also releasing the mag is stiff and requires a lot of force.

    I tried to pair the CQBR lower with my MWS upper and MWS lower with CQBR upper. No problems. Mag release has equal amounts of revolutions tightened on both rifles. Yet problems emerge as I put together CQBR upper and lower...
    Any idea of what it could be?

    (They are painted differently, thus no easy fix of combining MWS and CQBR for two working rifles...)

    Edit @RMDavis
    I can see that you had a similar problem last year. How's the rifle today?

    Guys, me and my fellow airsofters in my country tried the new Begadi VSR5 60degrees nub with omega tensioner - can confirm its better than ML 2021 Decepticon 60/70 degrees -  shots are more consistent, fly trajectory is flatter - can recommend to try it out!

    Unpopular opinion

    The TM MP7 GBB ( despite its reduced size ) is better than the MWS.

    * Easier to load mags
    * High round capacity per mag
    * Mags are less temperamental with filling
    * So darn pointy
    * So pretty
    * Pew pew pew KAKAKAKAKKAKAKAKA

    this is what baffled me...

    And the explanation from SixG:

    Peoples buffer tube end caps fall out from time to time, this happens on stock guns, it vibrates itself undone, as with most things on GBBs loctite blue (243) is your friend. This is not because of the HSB.

    The prime purpose of the HSB is to stop the buffer parts being hammered so hard, causing the above and shattered buffer 'part-B'.

    I have never known a buffer spring to be broken because of the HSB, i cannot see any reason why this would be so, i actually think they may be getting confused because the image of a buffer spring posted is completely normal - AKA one end is supposed to have tighter wound coils (this end seats onto the buffer itself)

    They are also misinformed as the HSB still allows the buffer to bottom out, he difference is that the spring rate is increased so that it doesnt hit as hard, and when it does contact it touches down onto the rubber bumper not sharp/cast stock tube end cap.

    With regard to bolt lock on empty functionality, depending on the power of gas you are using you may or may not need to unscrew the buffer tube 1 turn.

    So sorry if I raised some eyebrows, just wanted to make sure that HSB shouldnt do damage to MWS

    I just have to share what I managed to do today. I got a trade for my old ics m4 aeg with gate titan with a spare upper and 3 uppergearboxes(ics got split gearboxes like ptws cylinders). For a brand new mws with 5mags, original bolt, a lightweight bolt, a spare crazy jet 370mm barrel and a kwa 1911 with 2 co2 maggs :). Prolly my best trade ever :).

    I'd recommend messaging RuninWorkshop on Facebook. They usually reply extremely quickly and they know this trigger box inside and out. It's likely that you haven't adjusted the grub screws properly yet. I think someone once told me that straight out of the factory the trigger boxes are shipped with the grub screws not adjusted at all or something which makes the trigger not reset, and you need to adjust one of the grub screws to get it to start working.

    Got too carried away with rapid fire facepalming to actually give my own first hand experience. Used both the Super Nub and HSB in my first MWS, will be doing the same in my second. Only other thing I touch is throwing an NPAS in there as and when it's needed and if I decide to use a BAD lever (which is unlikely because I'm currently planning on doing a carry handle build with this one) I'll use a lightweight bolt stop plate to ensure the bolt continues to lock reliably. Outside of that, don't see a reason to change anything internally.

    People presenting second hand information with a definitive result just grind my gears. The fella initially asking followed up with 'Will this happen?' and the chap answering literally ignored the question and just said toss it. No reason, no further explanation, no break down of the parts being used alongside the spacer. Nope, the answer to the question will this happen to me wassss... toss it. Superb, I don't know who's more daft of the pair. The one asking the questions and taking the first answer he got at face value, or the clown spouting second hand garbage (the answer is both).

    Sad to hear you’re not getting on with the MWS experience.

    As an ex PTW fanboy myself, I’m finding the overall reliability of the MWS platform very refreshing.  I enjoy maintaining and tinkering with the gun, and it’s never let me down in a game, which I found was a major issue with my PTW’s, which I ran for about 10 years.

    I got sick of having to send them off to mysterious gurus for months at a time, to have various weak design flaws rectified at hundreds of pounds of cost.  Worn sector gears, faulty motors, chopped bb’s, misfeeding magazines, catastrophic failure in very wet conditions, and a general lack of feedback from firing the PTW are all things that are thankfully long behind me know. They just got in the way of me enjoying skirmishes in the end.

    With a light bit of fettling, and good maintenance I’m glad to say neither my MWS or MP7 have ever failed to fire, and shoot accurately absolutely miles.  Yes the mags are real capacity and realistically heavy, but I’ve completely got used to that, and I’m getting as many kills as I usually got, just with much more satisfaction of having bettered my hi-cap hose, sewing machine wielding opponents.

    Noice, will give it a go, I saw that until u modded your magazines to green gas mod it gave you a larger differentiation between your "worst" and "best" performing mag...
    I will try to do the green gas mod on my worst mag and try and see the difference then  thanks!

    For sure, if you like throwing mags around and not being able to do that is a deal breaker then that alone is enough for it to not be a good fit for you. I'm honestly not sure that's something different mags would change, they're heavy twats whatever the weather so once you're introducing gravity to that weight chances are something is breaking. I'm sure you're smart enough to know what could prevent that issue specifically, but it seems like frisbee'ing mags around ranks higher in your personal priority of things you want than the things the MWS does offer that your other platforms don't.

    I'm not convinced you're likely to find a GBBR/GBBSMG (is that abbreviation a thing?) that'll be able to shift that list of priorities, at least not as a 'primary squeeze' but I hope you get some degree of joy from dabbling 🤷‍♂️.

    Pretty sure my feedback was basic enough for even you .. but le sigh and without crayons to help you.

    I DIDN'T LIKE THE TRIGGER PULL... But the one of my PTW is really nice. So.. (hopefully i haven't lost you yet ) since the trigger is something that I tend to use a fair bit. This was a negative for me. (negative means bad)
    A CARRIER GROUP AND RECOIL... Hard Meh .. "Meh" being a sound one might make to imply disinterest around something. In this case, one of their marketed features.

    Ah.. its half term... sorry forgot.... as you were

    Not sure I say it quite ranks as fanboying (though I am genuinely surprised by the lack of fanboying to convince you that the MWS is fine, and that it is you that is the problem). Just think the opening gambit on the GBLS was poorly worded 'have you taken a look at, it might be your cup of tea' would have likely come across better give the experience/lack thereof.

    But I must say the entire exchange has been thoroughly entertaining and I hope it continues.
