  1. Mmmm, could be wrong (usually am☺️) but if it's coming back that the buyer has a valid number according to the UKARA database, then I would be happy enough with that, even though the site's insurance has lapsed it must have been valid at the time of issuing his number. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be along soon.

  2. Hi emilianoksa, I have only used it in the garden so can't say how it might perform in a skirmish. It has a nice feel to it, nice bit of weight as well but not too heavy,so far no problems either. Kickback is similar to other pistols, sorry I couldn't be a bit more in-depth for you.

Druid 799 😁, I want more (need) but have to be careful as the wife might just beat me about the head with one. But working on it 👍

  3. Hi all, looking to replace the pistol grip on my M4 AEG and my 417gbbr. I find the standard one's to narrow (big hand's), so looking for some grips with bit of girth 😁. Any advice appreciated folk

  4. Okay, So I tormented myself for weeks, thought about it, looked at endless internet/ Y tube, and as always there is only one way to find out. So got myself a 417, it's my first GBB up till now it was aeg's. I am fully aware that GBB in jolly old Britain is a bit hit or miss😀, especially here in Scotland. Now who has experience with VFC 417's, from what I could find out the hop and barrel will probably need replaced. Would I be right with thinking red gas, will only really be using the gun for those "nice days", what mag's work best etc, etc, etc   all thoughts and advice much appreciated from a GBB novice😇

  5. Hi Linton, welcome to the site and airsoft, I'm no expert on anything, not even life and I'm an old git👨‍🦯 . First take a deep breath, count to ten and relax, if you're anything like me I'm a kid in a sweety shop when it come to airsoft, want it, want it, want it. As for getting a gun and modifying it " does it NEED to be modded" if you take your time and get a good gun it will probably go a couple of years at least without needing work. Can't comment on Ares but I have a G&G cost me around the £300 mark can't fault it really, the only things done internally was shimming, new hop unit, did fit a tightbore but had to put standard back in as took me over site fps limits and a cheap mosfet so I could run a lipo battery, did I really need to do any of it, no I didn't. So as advised get yourself some cash together take your time ( you are only 18 so have all the time in the world 😁). You should be able to pick up a good gun for around the 300 ish mark. On another point, eye protection, there is nothing that will destroy you game play experience than a crap set of eye protection, you want the best goggles you can afford, I hate mesh but the problem with goggles is fogging so until we can all get back to shooting each other there's another thing to investigate. Have fun and take care👍

  6. Yes still had some bits and pieces, and my guns, over the last few months have got everything I need to get started again. Just need this lockdown to be lifted now. Due to having so much time on my hands I learned a lot getting my old AUG running sweet, so going to be looking for a project gun., enjoy the tech side of it as well.

  7. Hello all, hope you're all getting through this lockdown ok. Thought I would say hello, used to play a few years back at section8 but due to job loss stopped. Once this lockdown is over defiantly getting back into it. Bit of an old one (59) but still up for a laugh, was looking for something to do during this lockdown and pulled the guns I have out of the cupboard and from there decided to try it again, now I can't wait. One good thing, due to this lockdown I had plenty of time to tinker with my old CA AUG and finally managed to get it to shoot more than two bb's in a row, got it to the point it might actually be able to use in a skirmish. Also upgraded my G&G, didn't really need it but I was bored.
