That’s a shame about the nozzle bud. Was it stock? The only nozzle I’ve managed to break was an ra tech plastic magnetic locking npas. The feeder snapped. Not sure why, but I feel the We nozzles are best.

So I’ve just bought my first mws and it’s seems a bit hot. My regular site, a cqb venue, allows.25g max weight. I’ve chrono’d and am around 320 or 1.2 joules. I’ve poked through this thread and am at page 110atm and have read minimal info on my options. Atm it appears that my opinions are : angry gun mpa nozzle ra tech npas or “Olli’s “ nozzle spring mod. I’ve had experience with the first two on WE platforms, with good results ( my skirmish rifle uses a stock WE nozzle with the ag valve which I can adjust nicely). would appreciate hearing your choice of fps taming? Edit im using Nuprol green gas.

This thread is a little worrisome as I feel discussing potential loopholes which can enable a *gulp* “child” to purchase an item only legally available to an “adult”, is detrimental to our beloved hobby. The only way this kid should be able to possess a rif is if his dad is a ukara registered player or his father buys a two tone and gifts it to the lad. The lad is actively seeking ways to break the law and we as a community should not be offering options to enable him. True it’s tough on him, but my dad wasn’t even around at his age let alone buying me cool shit. It’s called childhood, and when you get to a certain again you can buy what the hell you want; fill yer boots! If I was his dad, I’d be asking who the fuck bought him his two tone, and what did he have to do to have it “gifted” nudge nudge.

I assume as you are taming the output with an n pas, the recoil is greater,the more powerful the gas used.

My question to you is why do you want to use black gas? I only ever use Nuprol red while my mate uses black in his ghk (without any problems) , and recoil in my WE is still nicer.

I’m not sure if this is just a hypothetical question, because in my almost 20 years playing the sport, I’ve never been to a site where one team wears an armband while the other team doesn’t. But you pay your money and take that chance. By your logic, we could all rock up wearing ghillies and hide our bands, then where would you be?

Armbands are solely to denote which team you’re on. To alter the narrative to suit your notion for their use is your problem, not the site, marshal’s or the opposing team. Sorry you are wrong bud.

I think if you look closer, there is significant “wear” all over the rifle. I think it looks pretty darn on point tbh.

Just an update on my experience with the angry gun mpa nozzle for the m4. I started having problems while skirmishing with it. Although the fps is stable, it started sticking in the bolt carrier. I replaced the oring at the rear of the nozzle which helped. However I started getting problems with the nozzle coming out of the front of the bolt carrier. It seems that it is slightly off spec ie smaller than the oem, which seemed to wear the side nozzle guide somehow, resulting in the guide popping out and due to the smaller size, the nozzle would run past the upper guide and jam in the receiver. This has happened one time too many. I have now reverted to the Ra tech magnetic npas with PLASTIC nozzle and this seems to be working absolutely as advertised. I have also replaced the guides in the rif In question with the steel Ra tech parts from Milspec Solutions. My other m4 is running fine with oem nozzle and white lfs disc. Disappointingly the angry gun mpa nozzle just seems to be off spec so i would now after about six months of use and issues chin it off. Though I will keep the return spring for spares.

Also, while it’s cool to have rs sights on rifs, my son has a sig Romeo on his ghk m4 (a2) it does not magically turn your rif into gold. You would be lucky to get £800 for the rif alone, even with the upgrades I have a tnt combo in my ghk ak. They cost about £120. so that leaves you wanting £1000 for an outdated sight and lamp. You are on crack mate.

Generally speaking, you’re only an airsoft wanker f you go binary or hpa a pistol with a drum mag adapter. So you are good mate; for now.
