  1. As above. If you rotate the tab on the 6th pic you should be able to slide the end of the gas tube out which will allow you to load bbs through the opening in the 7th pic. Depending on whether its a 6 or 8mm version there should be either 1 or 3 tubes to hold the ammo Great fun when they work, but I ended up swearing at mine more than by it
  2. No worries tbh I had to look it up mysrlf to be sure. To me it seems like a classic case of don't be a dick and you should be fine
  3. Correct. I posted the link above. I wouldn't be surprised though if someone seeing a person with a gun and shitting themselves (metaphorically) could be classed as interrupting them
  4. They're human like the rest of us and 99% of people who have a negative experience with poluce is down to them failing the attitude test. It'll be standard procedure to send armed officers to any call where firearms are involved. Better to over react to something which turns out to be nothing than under react and end up with dead coppers You never know, a chat with the neighbours might even get you a new battle buddy
  5. It's all well and good reading the rules till they change them, whether it's done officially or one doing it on their own accord.
  6. The Highways Act 1980 section 161. Although it's only an offence if you injure, interrupt or endanger someone on said highway. https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1980/66/section/161/enacted Oops, my mistake
  7. Exactly this ^^^^ While problems with cheating is caused by the players it's the marshal's job to stamp it out. If they're unable or unwilling to do so then that's on them
  8. As above. It might be worth having a chat with the neighbours who might see you to stop any possible misunderstandings. The defence is for buying, importing and manufacturing rifs, not ownership
  9. Do the "other rules" include not breaking the law? Because that's what you'll be doing buying an airsoft gun, regardless of whether it's a rif or if. It'd be wiser to keep the parents on your side as it'll show a level of maturity and mean they're more likely to be accommodating to your interest in airsoft Edit: another alternative to cover the bright paint on a 2 tone is a roll of sniper tape. Relatively cheap (should be about a fiver), can be put on and removed on site and will keep everything above board
  10. Bullshit. They knew how many tickets they'd sold so they knew how many would turn up, how many people regularly pay £100 to go to an event and not bother turning up? Yes some people may have an unexpected turn of events meaning they can't go but they would be a minority
  11. ??? Jesus christ, what a bunch of muppets. I kind of hope they try it and get told where to go
  12. Strange, I don't remember seeing any caves guarded by killer rabbits
  13. If true I'd be posting as much negative feedback as I could. If they don't want bad feedback then maybe they should've listened to feedback from previous games and made improvements, but I suppose that would involve a bit of effort
  14. Wants full price for used guns and gear
  15. Agreed. I get the feeling that any charges relating to RIFs and the VCRA would be on a list of other more serious crimes. I always feel a bit iffy giving out info on loopholes on kids getting rifs on a public forum. While the OP's intentions are honest, little Johnny chav who wants something to wave around in the park and impress his chavvy mates wont be
  16. I've heard some say the age restriction part of the VCRA only applies to the sale of rifs, not the modifying an IF to a RIF part so the OP could change or paint the snot green parts. However, I wouldn't take this as gospel as you don't want to be the test case in the unlikely event you end up in court and something tells me "some guy on the internet said it's ok" wouldn't be a good defence
  17. Are we ignoring the fact the OP has admitted to using a hot gun? That's way over the UK legal power limits
  18. They've changed who's running the airsoft games a couple of months ago so it'll be interesting to see what's changed apart from the membership price. It was £30 but has now gone up to £40
  19. This. It would also help if we knew which storage company is going to be used as different companies will have different T&Cs
  20. II picked this up online in the summer for the princely sum of £16. It isn't loosing or gaining time and at that price I'm not too bothered if it gets shot out in a game
  21. According to a quick google search these rumours are false. He was simply following covid rules by staying in quarantine for a couple of days after returning from a foreign trip. Well at least that's one less thing to delay imports
  22. You can. If you look at anything this comes up in the text "While we're working on resolving the recurring problems with the British Customs, please order from our partners at Patrol Base. If something is missing from their offer, write directly to [email protected]."
  23. I'm guessing its a case of the BF following procedure and sending out the letter, rather than looking for a ukara number on the package or paperwork. I also doubt that many of the staff don't know what a ukara number or airsoft is
