  1. I have six for my MWS; three in my PC, two on the belt and one in the gun. Spreading the weight with a belt as you said will really help. Good luck with the brave new world of GBBRs!
  2. My 416 had a brass barrel, so I assume this would too
  3. It come with the correct barrel nut and mine fits really well without shims. Shouldn't need anything else.
  4. I put the 9.3 HAO rail on mine and absolutely don't regret it. The fit is great, very solid, and the colour and finish is superb. The quality convinced me to get their Geissele scope mount too.
  5. I have some Emerson G3s in various patterns and was reasonably happy with them...until one of the shirts (the one in the phot above) ripped like tissue paper when i pulled it to take it off. And I don't just mean a small rip, the thing basically shit itself and was torn to shreds, so maybe give the TMC a go 😆
  6. I was tempted by the TMC G3 clones, which I think are within your budget. Can't comment on quality as the only TMC gear I have is a clone Safariland holster and Spiritus chest rig, both of which are fine. The TMC tigerstripe looks to be black, whereas some, like Platatac, are more blue.
  7. They've stopped doing weekly videos but they'll still post stuff. Tom put a post up on Insta this week saying the VFC FAL review will be up soon
  8. Platatac's Project Tigerstripe range is fantastic, but outside of the £100 you mentioned. Some good options from Gadge on the Vietnam SF loadout video from AATV
  9. Yep, as @Rogerborgsays, it's from Airtac. Got one after seeing the Ollie Talks Airsoft review. Think he has a discount code too. https://www.airtac.me/shop/p/tm-mws
  10. Stripping off after my last game, I pulled my Emerson G3 shirt (which I was only wearing for the second time) up over my head, somehow causing the complete and utter devastation of the wicking section. The thing looked like Freddy Krueger's wank sock, and my son was pissing himself at the look on my confused face and the handful of shredded cloth I was clutching. Not wanting to throw another £40-odd quid down the drain, I spent a bit extra and ordered a CUTS shirt from Platatac, having recently bought some Dax trousers from them and being very impressed. The shirt seems to be of the same high quality as the trousers; tough material, solid zips, no loose threads and a really breathable wicking section. This definitely won't be the last purchase I make from them. Well played Australia. Very well played indeed 👏
  11. Yep, another advocate of Red Dot Engineering. Got one of their protectors on a clone EOTech. Fits into the recess of the sight, so no need to have a windscreen bolted to a rail. The other optics I've got are Vortex, so not fussed if they catch a shot.
  12. As an absolute kit whore, I'm really interested in what you're going to get 🤷‍♂️
  13. Have a look on Rainbow 8 for original TM or Guarder
  14. Can't disagree with you there @Speedbird_666 The Viper was a cheap interim solution until I decide whether to keep the MP7. The kydex inserts in the Esstac and C2R pouches are awesome, but what you've done there looks great!
  15. Just adding my two pence having seen the comment mentioning TMC kydex inserts. I bought a TMC kydex insert to carry gas MP7 mags in my chest rig. In a word, dogshit. The insert is one big piece with bungee cord to tension it. As a result the mags all slap against each other and retention is utter gash. Bought a £4 Viper insert and job's a fish.
  16. Well She's a shirt! Love a bit of banyan rig. Just need a Mac 10/Tec-9 and a chainsaw now. Enjoy GC
  17. Yes lad! How did he get on? My lad is a recent convert (he's 12) and has the bug big time now. We went out last weekend and he was a monster. Must say I enjoy having him alongside me and hearing him shouting out to other players "Mate, your 2 o'clock moving right to left!" is hilarious. No idea where he gets it from!

    TM MP7 GBB

You've absolutely nailed why I'm only considering selling it. I was far more impressed firing this for the first time than the MWS. Think I'll give it a run out next skirmish.

    TM MP7 GBB

Cheers @Wavey_Gravey I'll bear it in mind. Still undecided as I do really like it, but the NGRS and MWS are enough for me...for now!

    TM MP7 GBB

Contemplating selling my gas TM MP7. It's a little over a year old, only been used on the range and in damn good nick. The gun is absolutely stock and the package would include: Tokyo Marui GBB MP7 4x TM magazines Angry Gun MP7 suppressor (not the tracer version) with flash hider *the Vortex red dot will not be included Any thoughts on a fair price ladies and gents?
  21. I think I've mentioned it to you before that the prison is on my/our list too. Must get out there as I'm really keen on their rules over mag capacity and RIF types. Don't get me wrong, I love a regular skirmish, but the number of HPA drum mag AAP-01s, binary triggers and M4-magged pistols I see does put me off a bit. Getting a hit because you've blasted 150 rounds into a bush seems like a hollow victory to me but then again I'm not chasing COD-style kill streaks. I'm also, in airsoft terms anyway, an old bugger! That AKS-74U is tremendous! The power and range is really impressive for a sub-£200 gun. Definitely one that's staying in the arsenal with the only change I want to make is to put a Deans connector on. Much as the lad loves his, he's now asking me for a Specna M4! I do think that a fan is the best solution, and may go that route with the Bolle goggles. I do prefer the comfort of glasses though, but my desire to see clearly trumps that 😂
  22. Another run out at Camouflage Bournemouth for me and the boy today, and yeah, not too shabby overall. The small number of players and the fairly compact site made for some decent gameplay, helped by almost perfect airsoft conditions; dry, neither too hot, or too cold and very little wind. The boy, running around with his absolutely stock Cyma AKS-74U was dropping bodies like it was going out of fashion. Me, with my MWS couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo 😂 Swapped it out for the NGRS416 in the third game and things improved significantly. Last time out I stripped a piston, but after a brief trip north of the border for Sam at KOA to work his magic, it performed really well, enabling an average shot at best like me to score some good long range hits. Hit-taking took a noticeable dip in the afternoon (2 o'clock blues kicking in on the opposing team it seemed) but overall a good day. Today was also my first run out with the "best fog-free eyepro in the game" according to people sponsored to say that by Bloc Tactical. I've mentioned before that I can sweat in a snowstorm, so fogging is a real issue for me. Usually i switch between Sawflys, Bolle Raiders and Bolle x1000 goggles, with a hefty spray of anti-fog, so I took a punt on Bloc. Are they truly fog-free? No, not for me. Are they better than average at staying clear? Yes, I reckon so. Be interesting to see how they hold up on a colder day, when I'm blowing out my hoop.
  23. Just to stick my two pence in, I sent Luke my M14 a couple of years ago. I fell into the classic trap of not really using it before deciding I wanted to DMR it, so sent it to a local tech, and, being honest, it was a cluster from the off. Not only did I not want a DMR as it really doesn't suit how I play, but the work done on it was dogshit. Locked to semi eh? So how come when I put a battery in the gun in the safe zone, it'd dry fire on auto?! That made me popular! I asked Luke to basically turn it back to it's original state, and to add a MOSFET. Throughout the process he was really informative (as @TheFull9says, you get lots of updates, voice messages and videos) and came across as a thoroughly decent and honest chap. He had to change a couple of parts, basically because the original tech was a mong, and his advice was always based on getting the best return for your budget. The gun came back and was fantastic, and is the one gun I've since sold that I wish I'd kept hold of.
  24. Exactly why I'm sceptical, but we'll see. I'll let you know after the weekend pal.
