  1. they did indeed. but i was glad to find somewhere that had a low minimum order, as i would have no use for 50/100/1000 of those patches but im sure you said before on this thread that they did a minimum of 1...
  2. Just got these through the post today. Ordered a couple of custom patches from stitchmeup.biz of my logo (after a recommendation from @TheFull9 ) Very good quality, very reasonable pricing and, considering the custom nature of the patches, a quick turnaround time. Cant wait to rock them on my gear at the next game day
  3. Saw that patrolbase have a runcam bundle in their shop today... so i picked one up so that i can put my gopro wannabe camera on my helmet instead of hanging off the side of my guns (always hated having a small box sticking out the side of my gun... especially if i was trying to peek around a corner) Bought a bundle that consists of 2 batteries, charger and runcam scopecam with 25mm lens (for mid range filming.... i dont do much sniping so i dont need super high levels of zoom)
  4. You should have a lot of fun with those guns. I cant comment on the druganov, as i havent used one, but the SMC9 and AAP01 are both really good guns with great range and decent kick for GBB guns.. Actually that reminds me... *proceeds to dig my own SMC out and start getting it cleaned and lubed ready for first game back.... whenever that will be*
  5. Well, i decided "fuck it, whats another £170-odd on my credit card" and bought myself an S&T M320 grenade launcher. Mounted it on my tippmann via a set of m-lok to picatinny rail adapters i bought a couple of months ago. I did find that the launcher had a lot of wobble on the rails, so i found a pair of screws in my toolbox at work and used them to pin the launcher... just need to trim them down a few mm and paint them black so they dont stand out. Edit. also set up an account with enola gaye, and will be ordering some pyro from them next week
  6. Just bought 6 PTS EPM1 midcap mags to replace my hi caps for ise on both my nuprol m4 and tippmann m4 in HPA configuration... (6x250rd midcaps vs 4 300rd hicaps plus no battle rattle) Plus 2 p90 hi cap mags. All from patrolbase Also, if i can afford it (doubtful), i am going to buy an m320 to replace my m203, mainly for looks, but also because the 320 has sights i can use with tag rounds =P
  7. i also have an S&T m203, but to fit the tag shells i have had to file off the ends of the ridges inside the barrel... (but it hasnt seemed to affect the ability of the launcher to use normal moscarts) i bought a couple of CO2 TAG launcher shells from here: https://www.airsoftworld.net/tag-innovation-co2-pro-evo-shell-launcher-single.html if you buy the shells, DO NOT buy green gas shells, as with mk2 tag rounds, they may not ignite the fuses 100% of the time (advice given to me by a couple of people who regularly use TAGs) buy the CO2 (gold band) or HPA (red band) shells, and either a TAG FIST2 or TAG HPA adapter to fill them. airsoftworld also stock the rounds, so you can get a full tag setup from the one shop... https://www.airsoftworld.net/manufacturers/tag-innovation the other option is to buy a TAG brand grenade launcher, so you dont need to buy the launcher shells (load a round in launcher and fire it using CO2 capsule).. downsides to that is that a TAG brand launcher is around £700... and you are restricted to ONLY firing tag rounds... so no using moscarts in general skirmishing, unlike you could do with the S&T launcher depends on the barrel length, but a shell will easily fit inside a standard length m203 with room to spare. i did have to file down the "ridges" inside the barrel of my S&T launcher to fit the shells into the breech, but its an easy job due to soft aluminium... just time consuming to fettle it just enough for the shell. having done that modification to my launcher, i have used it over a dozen times to fire moscarts without any issue, so no need to worry about ruining your launcher if you regularly use moscarts 😃 i dont think you do. with a round in the shell you will struggle to put the shell into the breech if you hold it parralel to the barrel, but if you hold the shell at an angle to put the tip inside the breech and then rock it in (like an AK mag) then there's no need for any cutouts on the barrel itself. as i have said above, my S&T only needed the ridges inside the barrel to be filed down a bit at the breech end to allow the shell to sit forward enough to close the breech...
  8. tag rounds are indeed awesome. while i havent been able to use my TAGs in games yet, i have fired off a few test shots. also booked in to apocalypse airsoft on the 4th... going to be bringing the TAG rounds with me (already messaged them and they allow tags on site) i have an assortment of 4.5 second reapers, pack of archangel impacts, and 2 packs of velum smokes... and i have had them sitting here taunting me for over a year.. so i will DEFINATELY be pyro happy at apocalypse XD not just TAG rounds.... i will also be using the TAG/ airsoft innovations AFG6 frag grenades... also a 120db bang but with added "shrapnel" of dried peas
  9. Thank you for the information, i will give them a look 😃 Been looking for somewhere to get a patch or two of my profile pic/logo made
  10. Where did you get it made? How much did it cost? And did you have to make a minimum order or just the one patch?
  11. glad the gun arrived safely for you alphabear 😃 and yes, that full auto really is insane... i definately want to be able to get out playing again, as i have just bought my black AAP-01 a stock and AW drum mag.... need to get some rounds through its barrel in anger =P BTW... how many of you guys got a manual with your AAP? i didnt get one with either my black pistol (that came from WGC shop) or the FDE one that now belongs to @AlphaBear that came from onlyairsoft in stevenage
  12. i think i know what you mean... 😉 i will give their site a look, but i wont be buying parts just yet
  13. i have one, but havent had a chance to field the gun due to lockdowns... ok, so which one would be best to improve accuracy and rang on an AAP-01, nd what hop rubber would work best with it? (thinking of adding to a list of parts i want/need to buy for the time when the gun breaks or requires a new barrel... whichever comes first)
  14. *note to self* DM alphabear when the advert is posted... =P
  15. what the hell are the I-key and H plates everyone is talking about? never heard of them before... as for what i am running in my AAP.... both are totally stock internally, but my black one has has the rail sets and folding stock added to it. will need some money at the end of this month to put my car through its MOT, so i may be putting the tan one up for sale over the weekend (never even been fired, let alone taken to a game) now that you mention it.... *looks again* no, you arent the only one well, im happy with my Glock 26C thats WE... and im also ordering a pair of black lagoon beretta m92s as well... cant say i have ever really had issues with the glock
  16. i repeat my previous comment.... XD and regarding the AW drum mag.... do you really want to know? =P
  17. does this count? i just made a new thread for the charlton discussion to continue in, without clogging up this channel any more =P edit: apologies everyone, that was my poor attempt at humor late at night while half asleep
  18. inviting indeed. though looking at more pics of the real steel gun, it looks like there is a simple lug on the bolt that runs in a groove of the charging handle mechanism, so it may be a bit easier to make a rotating bolt.. but again, until i have a base gun to work with, its rather immaterial... talking of materials, what materials are GBB bolts usually made of? was wondering if it would be possible to contact an engineer or gunsmith to have a lug welded on, or if its fairly simple to get a custom bolt made with a lug already built in.. EDIT perhaps it would be better to set up a seperate chat to discuss the charlton, to save clogging up the "what have you built" thread
  19. ah.... im with you now. TBH im not too fussed if the bolt doesnt rotate, im more focussed on the bolt blowing back and returning.. and not blowing back into my face XD once i get into the project fully, and i have a base gun, i can try and work out wether i can make the rotating bolt, or just have to stick to a straight gbb
  20. what do you mean by that adolf? not going to lie, but i dont have a great deal of knowledge when it comes to the finer points of GBB mechanisms lol, at first glance when scrolling past, i thought they were medicine boxes....
  21. ask and you shall recieve @AlphaBear i got an armourer works mag of my own, and took a video of me mag dumping it into a target... filmed using an ICU camera mounted on the top rail of the AAP, then i had to use an online video compression program to get it below the 89mb file limit for the website, hence the watermark i can confirm that a single gas fill is insufficient to empty the whole mag... may need three fills to do a whole mag... luckily i can carry cans of gas in my pouches on site, so refills arent an issue for me in the field/back at respawn icu0018_e0D0XNgj.avi
  22. if you are referring to the rotating bolt on the real steel gun, then i was probablt going to make it as a solid piece that only LOOKS as though it functions as a rotating bolt. i was hoping to get away with running it as an open bolt, similar to the northeast sten. to run GBB AK mags... or try and either route a gas feed from a CO2 canister in the stock (like a tippmann omega) or an HPA line through the grip and use AEG hi caps. but until i get my hands on a base gun, i wont know what modification options i will have at my disposal and im sure it would be a bit of a nasty bastard to run, but it would definately be something unique and different on the fields =P
  23. it is ugly, and its definately not my finest work... but its functional enough.... but as said above, it is still a work in progress i intend to spend a LOT of time and care in designing and building the charlton though... but before i can begin esigning it, i need to figure out what gun im going to use as a base, and then take some detailed measurements of the internals to scale the externals appropriately.
