Plus the cost of the GBLS you need as a base gun and it doesn't include the stock, pistol grip ore AFG,  Hells teeth , that's going to end up at about a £3k build !

Think I'll stick with my GBBR and aeg builds .

    Proper upper though 😍

Is there a kit with full receiver for AEGs or NGRS?

  2. I'm 21 years in on and off. Started when I was at uni and remember spending every other wednesday afternoon traipsing to RM and Parcelforce depots to collect parcels with import charges.

Spent all my free time ogling custom guns on Redwolf and Airsoft Club.

Shopping on WGC and waiting for emails to actually make payment

UPS were the only courier to actually security check airsoft stuff, a friend got a phone call saying he needed velocity declaration for a protec helmet. He said 'depends how hard you throw it'.

Playing with/against the Airsoft Dynamics staff at Ambush.

Getting up at stupid o'clock to drive for hours because there wasn't any decent sites near London.

It is a bit tragic that even high-end parts often need modifying to fit with something from the same factory. Take Guarder - What's that, you have a Guarder frame, chassis and hammer unit? Yeah you'll need to do some fettling to get this Guarder slide to run a long them smoothly.

Having more material and having to file to fit gets you more compatibility. You can always take away but you can't put back.

a friend of mine has qualified as a personal trainer. He is looking at different tasks with his circuit classes he runs. One thing he mentioned was he saw a fitness video he tried out 1 mile run, various exercises but they used weighted vests. I said i had some low profile vests that you can put training plates in

Any one know where you can get the plates or much about them?, also, are there any cheaper than warrior vests you can use that are low profile and take these plates....

I will google anyway so don't panic when i get a break in work but always good to get first hand experience or avoidance  as i remember some members asking about them a while back :)

Well that’s scary as hell , just reinforces my conclusion that most police officers responsible for policing the section of the law responsible for control of ‘dangerous items’(wether firearms/knives/etc)  any workable knowledge about the subjects there supposed to be the ‘experts’ on !
    PS @Lozart , I blame Mussolini he started it all ! 😉

Under resourced and in some cases incompetent. I work next door to an RFD and he was recently asked to provide 2 years worth of firearms transfers despite sending each one in on time. Seems law abiding citizens and businesses do all they can to stay on the right side of the law, but the authorities can't or won't do their part.

  6. Some feedback, similar to what has been said already:

    - despite the title, the overall look of the page is pretty unexciting, definitely need better graphics, also go read up on landing page design.

    - other have mentioned spelling mistakes, there's some weird capitalisation as well (UK in lower case, capitals in your domain name).

    - the click to submit button needs some padding between the text and border.

    - collecting and storing email addresses (even without any other info) means you are processing personal data in the eyes of the law. You need to make sure you are compliant.

Some of this might seem like nitpicking, but even to people unable to point out the errors specifically, it can take away from how trustworthy the site is perceived to be.

Wow, that's a surprise, I'm amazed that they bothered to check.  What was the outcome?

it's going to depend on which depots/sorting centres they go to, the level of security (for parcels) will vary from site to site. Lost it, no recourse since it was a prohibited item and wouldn't send it back to me since it was a prohibited item.

Strange I have sent a gun via DPD before no issues and so has my mate. U sure it wasn’t a worker trying his luck with a package and getting scared when he had a realistic Airsoft gun in his possession 🤨

You think they would have told me if that was the case?

This is why I ship with whoever's cheapest, well packaged (so they can't wreck it), and marked as "sporting goods" (because if they lose it, how are they going to prove otherwise?)

You're a braver man than I. I've been burnt using DPD, RIF detected in a security scanner.

Evidence to counter what @AlphaBear said ? Nothing personal but just saying “not true” is hardly a 100% totally reliable and ‘convincing’ argument now is it . Savvy ?

I used to work for a retailer and handled all imports including TM products from Japan. We didn't share or divide up our stock.

I know of 5 other retailers from first hand conversations who also import their own stock and 1 more from their social media posts. There's likely to be more.

TM's tend to come into the country by one importer and then they are divided up between the UK retailers according to their stock allocation so I expect all UK retailers will get them at the same time..

    Not true.

No issues with grip changes and the coof got the better of me so had it in bits to do a bit of waterproofing on the electronics and is no harder disassembly wise than its TM counter parts.

What did you do for waterproofing? I heard the electronics themselves are already waterproofed and it's not what causes issues in the wet anyway.

The only way to lock it to semi would be to mechanically lock the selector which is doeable but means drilling and tapping the lower receiver for a grub screw. It does fire like a spring gun when you cock the AEG without a battery connected. reminds me of my KSC HK33 in some respects.

From what I hear the gearbox case has a threaded hole for this purpose, you just need the correct spec grub screw.
