  1. I watched the national Geographic series on peppers, was quite interesting, especially the way different people went about it. Then the stereotypical American guy shot his own finger off lol.
  2. Yeah it's something like that, I took it apart to find out but that was over a year ago so can't quite remember lol
  3. It's a common thing, same on mine and all the others I've held when I was unsure
  4. The only alternative would be to have some kind of mechanism like the TM l96 or Ares sniper rifles to force the bbs further forward in the gun which as we all know is a bit crap, it's not ideal but making a gearbox that's like 3 inches long isn't realistic not matter how high the cost. Pretty sure this is the issue that stopped the real magpul pdr being made too. They could have cover the base of the mag better I guess but as it's a fictional rifle that isn't limited by real design constraints then it's not surprising that there is a compromise.
  5. It is but the gearbox would have to be impossibly short to make that feasible. The next best thing is a discreet mag up front.
  6. That's a lot of money for something with very little background info.
  7. They tend to be a bit blurry, even the real ones are.

    M4 hop up

Hop rubbers are affected if it's very cold so it's probably that, if it was the unit itself id be very surprised
  9. So your advice to new players is to buy an impractical gun made for a very niche market? People recommend g&g m4s for a reason, they perform well, are reliable and are practical for any new player. Yes they're very generic but that's the way it is because they're ideal. You're coming from a viewpoint where ww2 stuff is more interesting to you but that's a minority, most new players come in wanting a cool looking weapon etc and with the best will in the world, the Sten looks like a part of a drainpipe.
  10. Get a warrior 901 from uktactical, good adjustment and superior quality to most other options for the money.
  11. I don't mind it either but all the attachments are overkill imo.
  12. South coast cqb is in the Gosport area, that's worth giving a go
  13. He also asks if an sr25 would be better though. Neither will look the same but a 25 can atleast get close-ish.
  14. Why are ICS such pricks about making stuff compatible with others
  15. Not sure to be honest, just for future reference really. Thanks
  16. I got that, sorry should've made it clearer, was just interested in the externals.
  17. Just won this bad boy (the gun that is), would appreciate it if someone could let me know what parts ICS AK-74s take,im clueless with AK things.
  18. Won the iron sight Xmas raffle, got an ICS AK-74m (I think) and smug as can be

  19. Very much so, the 5.56 and 7.62 rifles are significantly different in size. Best starting point would be an a&k or G&p sr25k.
  20. Have you lubricated it etc?
