I prefer my aap-01 over my TM hi capa. Fits my hand nicer and imo it shoots better. The TM is beautifully made though. But Its all down to personal preference I think.

I believe hi caps will be available in the future. But I'm pretty sure no other mags will work in this gun. That's according to the description I've read on TG. But maybe one could be lightly modified to work. Well as I've already got 2 DE m4 plus a shitna arms edge M4 (that's never worked) I thought I'd try a different platform. I'm not too fussed about different mag types. Takes a minute to swap over pouches on a belt lol.

So I managed to put a few rounds through the gun at work today. It uses the same gearbox as all the other DE guns with the falcon system. At about 10/15m I was getting a grouping of around 2" or so (using valken .20g outside. I then shot at sign about 30/35m maybe which was about a foot square and after adjusting for wind I was hitting it pretty consistent. The gun feels very solid. No creeks anywhere. The only part that has a bit of movement is the stock when extended half way or more but even then it's not that much. I thought I'd highlight a few bits that might be useful and nice touches. First up is the battery compartment. It's pretty airy in there, especially if your a fellow 904G owner. as you can see plenty of room for larger sticks or crane batteries.b The stock has 6 extendable positions plus a couple for the cheek rest. It has a nice rubber pad at the end. A little detail that I thought was nice was a window to show what position the stock was in. The charging handle is ambidextrous and can be swapped over easily. You pull the charging handle back along 2 sprung loaded stainless steel tubes too access the hope unit. Hop now exposed through the large ejection window. This stays open until you press the catch and it snaps shut. Next is the grip. Feels good in the hand. Has a nice rubber texture on it. Definitely more comfortable than my 904G and H. Lastly one slight downside. The stock when folded doesn't click into anything to make it stay fully closed to the rifles body. There's a bit of free play before force is needed to fold it back to lock it out. Easily solved with a bit of velcro, or something. This is the amount 'free play' Hope that helps someone.

Picked up the new DE UTR 45 today. Really liking it and feels very well made just like their M4 range -
Double Eagle M904g – Aka the Original Q Honey Badger

You haven't accidentally put the gun in binary mode have you? -
I have a E07. Owned it for a few years. Never played a game with it. Keeps breaking. I have 2 double eagles and and another one on the way. Very reliable so far and better built even though my are the polymer versions.

Had my eye on this for a while, last week I contacted patrolbase to import one from Taiwan gun, filled out there order forms etc. Noticed on their website last night they are now stocking them so made a order today.

Double Eagle M904g – Aka the Original Q Honey Badger

I have these upgrades plus the ML omega nub. I can lob .3 bbs pretty accurately 60/65m. I've recently put in a ML MR bucking but haven't played a game with the new bucking yet so cant comment on performance. Edit - one thing I have noticed now we're in colder weather is that I have feeding issues first thing on the morning. Om 99% sure it's the longer bucking lips on the ML so I'll be sanding/cutting them down a bit. -
vertical foregrips with pressure switch housing
Stevobeavo replied to blocks1's topic in General Discussion
This is my setup for my torch. Lenser P7 with a pressure pad mounted where my thumb rests when using my grip. Feels natural to use and can press it faster enough for a low frequency strobe effect. -
I have option 3. It makes it easier or target acquisition. I don't even notice the frame when using both eyes open. Adjusts in both horizontal and vertical axis, each colour has 5 brightness settings and cost about £15 from eBay.

I have both a 904G and a 904H. The G has a longer inner barrel and MP bucking and omega nub and can hit targets 65+ meters pretty accurately and consistency. I've shot about 12,000 rounds through it so far and haven't even opened it up yet. The H is new but again I've got a longer barrel, bucking and nub in it.

It's my local shop. They are very good down there. Let me test some magazines in my gun to make sure they worked before buying them.

I'd say recommended. Over half the people there didn't have torches. It is really handy but like not essential.

Went to another night game last night. Was maybe 20/25 people or so. Had another brilliant night with my mate. Good selection of games types. Best game mode of the night was where everyone was assigned a call sign from the alphabet (alpha, bravo, Charlie etc). Then run off and hide by ourselves. Then it's a free for all. Once you hit another player you have 15 seconds to get to them and tag them and say your call sign and now that person is part of your team. Game ends when everyone is the same callsign or timer runs out.

Just to add I've been using my 904G with a 11.1v battery for over a year now and it's been fine. Definitely noticed a improvement with the 11.1v over a 7.4v. I'll be using a 11.1v with my new 904H too.

TM Hi Capa 5.1 or 4.3 vs Army Armaments R5/600s
Stevobeavo replied to RostokMcSpoons's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Just to weigh in too. I had a TM hi capa. Great gun, shot pretty well out the box and had great build quality. I only sold it as I rarely used it, plus for the price I sold it for I got a action army aap-01 which I have to say is a brilliant side arm (other than a weak stock hammer), holster and spare mag. -
Timesplitters on PS2. Imo it's the greatest FPS arcade game ever made.

My 904H turned up form patrol base today. Just like my 904G it feels well built and I'm really liking the feel of the longer hand guard. Going to drop a longer barrel and hop bucking and nub in when I can. Made a big improvement on the G.
