  1. Hi all!

After recently giving my XM177 a gloss coat on the furniture, I thought all was well until the motor lead decided to bail on me, does anyone know of anyone or any good sites that can repair it?

I'm sure it's an easy fix as I know this is a common problem, but I'm not going to chance breaking it more

Running a 7.4v Li-Po is fine in an AEG.

Look for the highest mAh that will fit.  (this indicates how long it will last in a game)  1400 to 1600 should last a whole day with a mix of semi and auto use.

Its also advisable to change the plugs to Deans (also known as T-connectors)

They're small and make good solid connections.

    Thanks for the reply mate

This is already wired to Deans so that's a bonus, I'll run it off a 7.4 and see how it performs with a few test shots

    Thanks again mate

  3. Hi all!

I've not long purchased a Specna Arms SA-C19 Core, and have been upgrading it externally so far, I'm looking to change the crane stock to a ctr stock however this means changing the battery I use from a 9.6 Ni-Mh to a Lipo, however I'm a bit skeptical on changing the battery and if it is safe for the gun to run a lipo without damaging it, what would be the best suggestion?

    Thanks for reading, stay safe

  4. Hi all!

That's far too low even TM fairy dust sprinkled guns shoot min 270 fps on 0.2BBs. is it brand new and have you opened it up yet? if yes and no contact the retailer something is not right if its shooting that low.

I took it apart last night in doing so found that the spring itself was stuck within itself so gave it a clean and tested it, it's now reading 310-315fps

  6. I'm using 2.0 but it is the fps for the gun itself I'm just no tech guy and am good at taking them apart just not putting back together again and the fact this gun don't come with a manual is off putting to me 😅

  7. Thanks for the replies guys

I myself have got a Bo Dynamics Mosin Nagant, I want to upgrade the internals so it can shot like at around 400fps as it has a low spring of about 250fps at the moment and also improve the barrel as much as I can to be fair

I like the mag retention strap. I know the IDF issued them.

When I played a few night games I rigged up something similar with Paracord - because the first reload after contact generally has to be done quickly and it's really easy to lose your mag in pitch black woods.

Very true! Nice thinking mate, might remember that on the next night game (hopefully before this year ends)

  9. As well as airsofting, gaming is also part of my healthy lifestyle 😁 therefore I am curious what the airsoft variant of the Krig 6 would be?

I have a few ideas from an AR70 to a AK5, but what would be an airsoft variant, I myself think the G&G GF85GL?

Did it come from Scotland by any chance?

    Absolutely excellent find.

Genuinely chuffed for you that you've managed to get hold of one btw. What's it actually like?

Thanks mate!! It did indeed, and the build is beyond great, not an issue with it and the condition itself is amazing, I am thinking of doing a video review on YouTube as none exist that I know of

Dare I ask, how much did that set you back?

Not as much as I thought, the seller was one of if not the best I have dealt with, reasonable and I am very thankful to him for contacting me and making a deal with me

Liking the new rig, something you don’t see on the field every day! 😎👍

If you want to weather it, take It to your local field or put it on and roll around in the dirt! 😜

    Do you have chicom rig?

If so how does it compare with this one? 🤔

    💷GAMBLE💷

Sounds like a plan mate! As for chicom I used to have one so from memory both are great, but with this one the poppers on the pouches make them easier to open and access magazines etc. more so than the chicom anyway, but the chicom also felt lighter than this as the metal on a chicom are 0 compared to this and was easier to adjust :)

  12. After a short wait it arrived! Not bad for the price I paid, the material is great quality and fits AK magazines perfectly, the only two negatives is the leather used has started to crumble already, but I can always replace it with some real leather so wont be a major problem, the only other thing is the amount of eyelets on the shoulder straps, not enough to be able to have the chest rig itself higher up on your chest, but again can easily be fixed, if anyone has some good weathering techniques to get this rig looking a bit darker and not so bright! It would be very much appreciated! 👌🏻 if anyone wants to get themselves a repro style East German chest rig, contact me and I will send you the details of the seller 👍🏻

Alibaba is more orientated at bulk wholesale, but you can buy some items in lower quantities and may be able to order on a sample basis like Shooting aces

Most orders would go via AliExpress for smaller consumer quantities and Alibaba for larger wholesale quantities.

In the UK it would be ‘harder’ to make wholesale orders as wholesalers want to both deal in bulk and to protect their primary customers who are the retailers.

So you would need to present some info to

show that you are a business, and certain types of products/brands will also try to restrict who they deal with by region or business type to protect limited markets

Alibaba has no worries - just that you’re spending enough money with them

Thanks for the info mate, very much appreciated :)
