  1. ASG make the CZ Bren too. If it had stop on empty I'd be tempted. Same with their new gun the ASG Hera Arms CQR feel like they are regressing in features
  2. I managed to convince a shop to do a sale on the EVO to compete with another retail who was a bit cheaper. You can get it delivered free to a UPS Access Point for £324.99 They even sell the smoky magazines( you can put picture inserts in these), spring guide and mil spec m95 spring to run it on an 11.1v. https://jdairsoft.net/asg-cz-scorpion-evo-3-a1-2018-version
  3. Just an interesting spin on the evo I am purchasing was talking to jdairsoft team about getting it a bit cheaper from them and they gave solid advice in their reply. I already knew this as I had done my research but it's nice to see unprompted advice coming out of a retailer to help with battery decisions.
  4. chased up my ukara no bueno owner was on holiday hasn't looked at the applications yet :(

  5. Wonder why all the advice I see on the internet pushes the beefy chargers used for RC equipment.
  6. NiMhs are preferred for entry level people because they don't need to spend the earth on a smart charger and learn how to use it. Plug and play so to speak. I agree with you it's crazy people still buy them but because it's not something visual someone can see on your gun like an ACOG or tracer unit they just want something to plug in and make it pew and forget about. Considering you are £35 quid for a smart charger that is often 1/4 the cost of peoples entry level guns + they need to learn how to use it which is definitely daunting for someone new.
  7. Almost got all my kit (apart from the actual gun)
  8. yea I agree tooo much. owner is packing it because of the clones. I could give two flarkins about licensed multicam fabric import costs. might try that clone not a big fan of the metal ones,
  9. Bloody hell poor chap who made it. They even have HIS logo on the nose. But to be fair 50 quid for a mask? thats a bit much 30-35 at a push if it's "top quality"
  10. I run the ontigeress mesh mask cloth sides. Been tempted for https://divisionsix.co.uk/ pricey. Might vent better breath has to be the number one cause of fogging tho. Also got a speed loader because I'm crazy and ordering anything I can cheap in advance of my gun
  11. got double glazed myself. pyramex i-force, revision wipes helped. think I might try a different lower mask.
  12. some "home" movies ? have to get a look at those goggles at somepoint pretty close to just getting a dyemask to avoid fogging.
  13. actually helps like a counter weight on the back of helmet,
  14. Don't be discouraged if you give sound advice to people in a thread and they ignore it and do what they wanted to do before they opened the thread looking for validation.

I read a lot on here before asking questions and learned so much from responses to people questions.

yeah, pretty accurate. i guess some people are just wanting to be reassured that they haven't made a mistake although some folk seem to get mighty defensive if they get told otherwise.

thing is advice on here is just that- advice, the only thing you get for giving it is a reservation of the right to say "i tole you so!"

Just remember , ‘advice’ is just another name for an opinion hopefully based on personal experience .

And many on here know my feelings on opinions,

“Opinions are like arseholes , everybody has one and nine times out of ten both are full of shit !” 👍

  15. Probably a stupid question but are all speed loaders pretty much the same? Need to budget for 1 to load mid caps/pistols.
  16. Might see the price drop a little. What uk retailers have umarex distribution rights? Should we maybe move this to the proper thread for this gun?
  17. @FreeFrag.UK alright cheers. I'm tempted for sure I pretty much expected below 450 given how much the vector cost. It's probably not worth the money in all honsety but who knows.
