Just generally pissed off today. Sick of how this society operates. The education system is broken, the job market is broken, people are unemployed and yet somehow the government think that cutting spending and upping VAT is going to help...? Is Parliament being fumigated with turps, carbon monoxide and mentholated spirits or something? Their brains must be literally made of sh*t to think that's a good idea. Being a millionaire must be really great, especially if you're the mad tit running the country to your own ends at the same time. A revolution is required for the sake of humanity, I feel like the government of V for Vendetta is slowly becoming a reality. I simply can't believe we've all sat back and watched it happen like some sort of distant firework show, it's getting closer a little too fast for my liking, the whole place is going to explode on top of us if we don't do something about it sharpish.

I've more or less given up on the Politics essay I have due on Monday that I've still not even started... And the Research Methods essay I have due in Wednesday that I've not started either...

How damn long does it take for something to clear through customs? The barrel I ordered has been "awaiting customs inspection" for 4 days now, how can it possibly take that long?

Just totally bossing it on Battlefield on Gulf of Oman using the Mk11Mod0, I was on 15 kills to no deaths lone wolfing it about the two story buildings, firing two shots and then relocating, no one had a clue where I was or anything, it was epic, I had my MAV down as a motion sensor and everything. Then, less than half way through the game, EA f*cking CRAPPY ONLINE, decided to f*cking LOSE CONNECTION! Arrrgghhghghjnwg;jd;jdfgjndjlwe;fl;ewrgfsgj!!!11!! Peeved.

I was actually on Gulf of Oman when I died from jumping off the roof. I've also died from walking through a broken section of fence, stepping off a curb, landing from a parachute jump even after having my chute deployed for most of the descent and then the stupidest one was leaving the mission area so the 10 second counter comes up, except instead of it counting down from 10, I just died immediately without warning. Then there's times when I've been killed by people who didn't start shooting at me until after I got behind hard cover. I'll be sprinting across open ground then they'll start shooting right as I turn behind a wall or whatever, and then I die even though they lost line of sight. It's like they can shoot through walls, or my guy was holding out on death until he was actually safe. In either case, wtf? There's also still a ton of glitches. Most annoyingly not being able to always vault through windows, or over wrecked pieces of half destroyed wall.

Yeah, I had quite a good streak going the other day, spotted a guy running into the building I was on top of, so I jumped off the roof (I was only 1 story up) and when I landed I died, even though I had full health and everything, really pissed me off. I hate it when the game says I've committed suicide.

I agree that it was stupid that the MAV could be used as an elevator, but in my eyes it filled a void, a void that was being unable to climb to the top of all the buildings. In reality, snipers take the high ground and get dug in because if they don't they have no advantage over other units, they don't have clear line of sight over long ranges, they need to be higher than all the obstacles, so their rifle doesn't become useless. In reality, they're able to go into buildings and get to the roof from the inside. On Battlefield you can't get in many of the larger buildings, so the MAV offered a solution for getting to the roof. It was an unrealistic solution but created the realistic effect of snipers being actually worth their salt. I do personally want to murder all the dicks that used the MAV to run people over though, that was just like saying, "Well I can't aim for sh*t, so I'll just hide in a place where I can't be found or injured and run everyone down..." I think anyone manning an MAV ought to come up on the minimap like the mortar guys do. But anyway, how do you use the heavy barrel and the flashlight on the G53? They're both Slot3 unlocks.

30 kills, no deaths on a huge map, on rush, with a CQB weapon... Wow, that's pretty epic. My highest streak on the ground was using the M1014 with buckshot on Seine Crossing on rush and I basically camped on a stairwell by the fist M-Com, I managed to get 19 of them and then the game ended and I was seriously chuffed, I'd never even used any shotguns before lol. My 30 kill streak was done playing as a chopper gunner on wake island with a seriously epic pilot and I had the thermal optic, so I guess in a way my kill streak was skill-less =[

Pretty awesome time shooting today, fired some bolt action rifles chambered in the AK's 7.62x39mm round. Pretty hefty kick to it on only a 7.5 pound rifle. Also saw a Lee Enfield Mk.IV, which was pretty damn badass. Only got 10 shots, but 5 were bulls eyes, so they were within at least 3 inches of each other and it all came pretty naturally once I realised there was a flag to judge the wind at the target end of the range. Plus, 3 went through the same hole 'cos I'm just such a boss. So pretty good for a first time effort considering the target was 200 yards away =D Also, my AF-UK patch arrived, as did my L85's hop parts and piston head, so I'm just waiting on the barrel from RedWolf now and I can get to work on it. Happeh! If only Uni would explode... =[

When I did mine I dropped 1 on the multiple choice and was right on the pass mark for hazard perception lol, I kept clicking too much apparently so my score kept being discounted. I've only got until November to pass my test or I'll have to do the bastarding thing again as well.

Just ordered an ACTUAL AEG cut twist barrel from RedWolf for my L85, so I can finally fit it properly without any issues. A Big out H nub from Fire Support, along with some madbull blue rubbers And a LPE piston head. So that's all the parts I need to have the same set up as Finius, all I have to is wait for it to arrive, fit it all and see what difference it makes. Then I have to grow larger balls before I attempt to do any of the home grown mods of his, which involve shaving parts off the nozzle and tappet plate... I'm sure you'll all hear about what happens in the angry thread in about a week Edit: Also just got an AF-UK patch in OD since I was feeling in a spendy mood. It does come with velcro backing and pad, right?

Why don't golfers do target shooting? You launch tiny things into tiny holes/bulls-eyes, it's more fun and probably costs about the same, except you don't get stereotyped as a douche bag, nor do you have to wear ridiculous clothing.

Any game played involving balls, should not also involve large metal sticks. I thought that was just a general rule of life, but golf, is seems, is for morons.

'Cos PEQ boxes are tacticool. Pfft. Also, Liam, why would you put the ACOG on the carry handle? That's just silly. Does your L96 perform any different with a shorter barrel? I always wanted to properly look into it as I'm sure the barrel length does have an effect on range as well as accuracy, but a lot of people seem to think there's nothing in it. You Sir, are in a perfect position to do some tests! Or just general observations, I'll settle for that.

To be honest it looks a lot better than I thought it would, I still wouldn't bother with both though. Liam, your M16's looking a bit awesome in your new sig. Thought about adding an optic of some description? Silencer seems to be off your L96 as well, why's that?

It's a bit like Facebook in a way. Every time there's change everyone's up in arms about it. But, after a while it becomes the norm and no one cares anymore. However, I will forever think that the rent-a-server thing is a ton of pure, fetid shite. I've not played the game unless I've been able to find a DICE hosted dedicated server because otherwise all the settings are stupid, 1000 tickets is way too many on console, with only 24 people it takes forever to deplete them all.

Great day airsofting today, put a red dot on my M14... Love. It's as easy as using your previous shots to aim, except you can direct them on the first shot. So so easy to use, no needing to line up your eye with the sight, no needing to move your head into a fixed position behind the eye piece, if there's a person, the dot goes on them, pull the trigger, boom. Hit. It was awesome.
