Where abouts on the map do people have to be for it to be 2000m though? I went to the top right map boundary (the american spawn end on CQ) of OF and sniped someone at the mountain top at the opposite end of the map and that was only about 1260m.

Where is it ever possible to kill someone at 2000m? I've never been able to get a kill of more than 1300 or so metres because I don't know of anywhere I can be that will have people further than that away from me.

Consoles have infantry only servers as well. I don't mind 24 players if I'm honest, whenever I watch PC footage there's always about 5 people in one place where usually there'd be either 1, or none on console. I bet it's a lot easier to do well if you're good at lone wolfing though, I tend to not play in squads because it REALLY pisses me off when you're sneaking around like a ninja and then you get engineers spawning on you and shooting rockets at tanks from your position. Especially if you're in a building, so it's ultra obvious where the shot came from. Why don't they just shoot me themselves? Assholes. "U suck at shooting", haha, I like that. How fantastically true.

I wonder if the snipers will get a zoomier scope any time soon, 'cos I think there ought to be like, a 20x zoom as well as a 12x, 'cos x20 seems more realistic. Though I guess there'd be the problem of the shots falling out of view if the target was more than about 800m away, 'cos you have to aim up a fair distance to hit people at that range as it is, especially using a silencer, or the SKS lol.

I unlocked the G3 today because I got sick of waiting for friends to be online only for them to say they didn't want to play co-op... So I played with some randomers and I now have all the weapons =D The G3 is aaaammmmmmaaaazzzzinnngg! I'm trying to get the bipod and 6x scope for it so I get a proper sniper style weapon in the assault class. Speaking of which, I'm so disappointed at the range of the VAL, I was really hoping to be able to snipe with it but it just sucks.

So what does that mean?

I passionately hate CQB maps as well, when you aren't holding a real gun it's just too hard to aim at people fast enough on the consoles. I will still be getting all the DLC though, solely for all the new weapons with each pack =D

I'm still trying to unlock everything for Helis but I've got jets and tanks sorted as well as all the weapons aside from the Sig and the G3, not been on co-op much. Rank 58 =3

I really like it, though for ages I thought you were quite crap as I didn't realise the kill notes on the bottom of the screen had been edited out or something lol. Nice editing though and a good use of clips, I like the map zoom out to the globe and all the map photo file icon things that spread out and float about.

What about your other 9 or so GCSE subjects then? You don't need science and maths and ICT and all those sorts of subjects for a lot of jobs. I only got 6 A - Cs at GCSE because I didn't revise at all, but here I am at Uni. They always say to try hard because you'll struggle to get in to the next stage, but that's utter bollocks because right now, on my Uni course, there's a girl who doesn't know who the current Prime Minister is! And Politics is part of the damn course! How did we advance this far as a race? Seriously. I'd say escape whilst you can and find a job you love doing because education is pretty much a circus, where's mindless apes succeed and those clever enough to realise it's a ton of bull are pushed to the side lines as failures and under achievers. I don't think it's right to judge people based on trivial, irrelevant information that's next to their name on a piece of paper. People ought to be valued as people, not letters, anyone can do any job really, it's just that the people with poor grades never even make it as far as the interview. In short, f*ck the system lol. I will always support those people who wrongly consider themselves failures because aristocratic dicks deem them unsuitable for employment. Unless they're literally retarded, like the moron on my course lol.

I have about £50 to my name right now. I don't think I've ever been this poor, ever. And technically, the £50 I have belongs to the bank and I owe them another £950 before any money I do have is actually mine... Student loan not due until April... Superfuckshittitbollocks.

Happy because I visited The Stan Urban Sheffield yesterday and it was literally like being a part of a 6 hour long SAS killinghouse drill. i.e. Mothereffing awesome. It's like a derelict factory that time (and health and safety) forgot! Because it is! The only crap thing is that when a smoke grenade goes off, it never leaves, so my throat feels like spiders made of razors have been dancing in it all night - I'm very ill. The other thing is that I didn't have a torch and towards the 6pm End X, I could hardly see my hand in front of my face lol. However, this has prompted me to buy an MP5 flashlight hand guard sooner than I was going to. Or at least, once I can, I have £60 in my account right now...

Me and my girlfriend's 5 year anniversary today. Too bad it's mid-bastarding-week so we can't see each other. But the weekend shall be good. =D

For fews hours on two days of last week the ping bar on the server listings for ALL the european servers was at like 1 out of 6 bars full on the ping scale/phone signal looking thing. I was getting better ping from North American servers, which made no sense. They've been fine since though, must just be a temporary glitch.

I don't think it would work, because you can't really document accidental damage, because we'd hardly break them on purpose. So you should probably just make a "What's the stupidest and most destructive way to break a gun" thread lol.

I use the M16A4 but the stats seem to see them as the same thing. I use the A4 because the burst mode makes it miles more accurate at close range because the spread of your shots recentres on every trigger pull. If you have the auto function available and someone surprises you then I find it hard not to just hold the trigger down and empty a whole mag into air and then get killed. You're kind of forced into being more careful with your shots when you can only fire 3 lol. Plus I just like the burst version more because it's the one that really gets issued. As far as I'm aware anyway. I hope that mosfet works regardless of spring and motor set up, if ROF has anything to do with it it'll probably be a total arse to get working right. I wish that the consoles had the same level of control regarding servers and stuff. There really ought to be a vote to ban thing on console. Instead they've just made it so that on normal mode there's no friendly fire, which I think is sh*t and on hardcore 5 team kills gets you banned from the server.

If they don't lower the power of 12g frag rounds in shotguns sooner or later I'm going to honestly murder everyone that uses them, at least lower the power of them on hardcore mode, or ban them from hardcore servers, or limit the number of people that can use them per team to 2 or something instead of letting every sad tit in the game that can't play for poo use them just for the sake of being a nooby arsehole that needs shooting. I'm sick of that loading message as well: "Although not terribly damaging the 12g frag rounds have very good suppression stats" or whatever it says. What the hell frag rounds are they having shot at them? One is enough to kill me, 3 can kill me if they miss by about 3m, there's no getting away from them! Over the last few days there have been at least 3 occasions where at least half the enemy team were all using the USAS-12 with frag rounds and it just took the utter piss, you couldn't take cover, move away, out gun, out surpress, flank them or do anything, it was a total joke.

Armorers wrench, that's what I mean yeah. Where can I get one of those from? As for the rails I've no idea. But Ares tend to match real steel specs regarding that sort of thing, so probably not. Unless G&P do as well.

How do you install them? I think I might just get the whole front end piece, I still haven't found the rails on their own. With my gas M16 you needed a special spanner type thing to get the outer barrel out, did you find an online guide?

Maybe we ought to also have a "How to kill Nick in many, many, excessively painful ways" thread as well. =D But yah, that's exactly what I want it to look like, just with a regular 4x ACOG and with the battery in a PEQ box.

Basically I just want it to look like the M16/M4 on Battlefield3 with an ACOG, front grip and laser equipped. I'm glad I know about the burst fire mosfet now though, what are regular mosfets for...?

I'm going to fit a stronger spring for about 360fps, get the M5 front end, a new ACOG with an illuminator and a front grip. That's the externals. I might add some rail covers and some mag puls etc at a later time but that's basically it. I'm considering front wiring it and using a PEQ box for the battery and then buying an M4 RAS front end and an LE stock so I can switch it to M16 or M4 on a whim but I've not thought about that enough yet. I'm glad the mosfet is a plug in thing, that'll make going from burst M16 to auto M4 quite easy. Assuming it is quite easy to plug in... It looks like it just plugs in ahead of the battery... Is that right? The connectors look weird.

Sounds like a suck-ass HUB. Whatever a hub is. The only hub I know is... Well, yeah. I'm happy because I have thorough plans for my M16 that will make it one of the awesomeist thing evah. Only one, or two depending on how you view them, thing(s) remains unsure in my plan. Can you make AEGs fire in burst instead of auto? Could anyone do it, or would it require lots of expensive parts and shiz? Can you buy an M16A4 lower receiver in airsoft with "burst" printed on it instead of auto? Or do the burst fire models still say auto as well? I never really thought about it tbh. Does anyone know?
