For cqb I would recommend a tracer unit. I use the acetech lighter bt its a small tracer but also doubles up as a chrono which I like. If you only plan on cqb I wouldnt worry about sights, good old iron sights and watch my tracer should be enough. Im sure other will recommend even more gear.

I also wear glasses not as strong as yourself l, but i use ess ice glasses (here) with incerts (here) and i dont have the problem you are having with them sitting to close. As these are glasses and not googles they sit a little further forward then googles do. But with that said everyone head is different. But might be worth looking at glasses rather than googles. -
Hey im off to sentinel Airsoft on the 9th your welcome to tag along just book yourself in via thier fb page.

As a glasses wearer, I just cant get on with contact lenses . I currently use ESS ice with lens incerts and they have been very good for me. Been using them for over 10 years now. Yes they do fog a times but at the same time I have never used any anti fog products/tricks either. They tend to fog up most when I stop moving around, but soon clear up. I am currently also waiting for some built in fans set of glasses that you can get prescription lenses for here. I will let all know how they are once I get them.

You also have sentinel Airsoft just outside Dunstable at an old raf listen post. Small cross shaped building. Play is around the outside and 3 parts of the cross for cqb.

Most efficient storage for rifles in a Studio flat.

You thought about wire mesh lockers you can hang some on the sides and stand others in middle. You can make a cheap easy cover to go over them to hide and should make a small footprint -
He is one of the better Airsoft YouTubers and you can learn alot from him too. I have enjoyed his videos and enjoyed him in person when the mall was alive. So much so that just a few months back I had him DMR my G&G 308 MBR and it is a blast to use. So enjoy watching him and enjoy his work.

I have been using Geoff's tracers for a year now and had no problems with them at all, light up really well great seeing that green/red stream in the dark.

What you should be really thinking is now I spent so much on gear this year, I can spend this year getting some really cool RIFs

Hopefully this works out for my shift pattern as I work midweek one week and weekend the next, so maybe I can get some night games in. Shame that sentinel don't do night games anymore as I have to drive past it on way home from work, would be perfect for that cheeky game after work.

A zoomed optic may help in sporting but you do reduce your field of view, so where you will spot one you will miss another. It maybe better to just slow down a little pause and look. What you are looking for is not people so much but movement. Use your whole filed of view for movement, once spotted zone onto it confirm if it's a target or not and act accordingly. This process can just take a single second once practiced. Also while taking in the your whole field of view you will most likely spot more than one set of movements so you are more aware of where things can be coming from. For the ranges we play in optics can help but being aware of your surroundings is much more useful. K

Just to throw something else into the mix I have recently DMR'd my G&G MBR 308 SR and it's really nice

Had a great day at Reforger and even better to randomly meet so many AFUK members. Got to try out my new DMR by Luke of Negative Airsoft and had a blast in the morning with it performed excellently. Was fun going on the left flank having that little more range watching those bbs falling short and taking out the shooters until that other sniper/DMR would fire back ha ha. That's what you get trying to flank in the open I guess. Changed up for the afternoon to normal AEG again had a blast was some great fun. Though I did underestimate how many bbs I would go through and only just had enough spare on me in the field to resupply all but my highcap mag. Even went down to my pistol in the capture the flag game(defending). Though was great that I was able to to stop 2 captures with said pistol one with the last shot of magazine. Then was killled during mag change. The last game enjoyed the 25min rest we managed to have ha ha. How they didn't spot me on that final push I have no idea. But was a very enjoyable day and a great place to play as a sniper or DMR player as proved by the number of them who showed up. Oh by the way @Skullchewer that's a great pic of the AFUK patch in action you should get one😁

Anyone going to reforger on Sunday 24th for the charity game. Looking to try out my new DMR down there once it arrives back to me later this week.

I use ESS ICE 3 (glasses not goggles)with inserts as long as your moving I've had very little fogging but it does happen. Though I have also been looking at the guard dogs evaders too think I might try those.
-
I have sent off my G&G 308 MBR to negative Airsoft to make that a DMR so will let you know how that goes once it's done.

You would think this might be sensible. Just a couple of weeks back picked wife up from work in town only to find normal way home closed off by police car. Had to go round and noticed the distance of cordon that was erected. Got home checked FB group for my little town, and found that someone had found and drove some UXO to the local fire station in the middle of a residential area. To think finding something like that picking it driving into the centre of a town to drop off at fire station it just beggers belief sometime. Don't touch and report.

I have the 308 MBR same stock I think. The buffer tube has slits down each side and I manipulated the MOSFET to sit into the slit and down one side of the stock. That way you have one side and center free for batteries. I have used both a single 1300 stick and a 1500 3 nuncuck all have fitted.

Don't know if they would be any good but may try looking at good headphone spiral cables. They always look for low impedance so good for little loss. Just not sure how well they will take the heat.
-
Then I would think they would allow you to play with such, just that normally DMR/Snipers are of a higher joules.

One of my local sites sentinel has these rules. No CO2, no DMR and no snipers. DMR and snipers is because the ranges, which are short to med so no need for such RIF's. Now CO2 is because of insurance and not a so much a site rule, but a rule enforced on them.
