Hi Joe, Quite a difficult question to answer Id suggest visiting a site and playing a days play renting equipment to firstly see how you get on. Ive had days just marshalling when I get home absolutely shattered and have walked 8 miles , in woodland, up steep hills, crossing rivers - without running like the players do. I have sciatica , which can give me quite a bit of grief after a day out in the woods (absolutely nothing compared to yourself I guess) But what I’m trying to say it that it can be quite a bit of a demand on the body. Wear decent boots, and let the marshals and site operator know of your condition and that you may (would you) need a hand at some points ? There are a few videos of players stateside and here in the uk of chaps who are full time in a motorised wheelchair and they seem to have a blast, with some assistance. Best to try it out and see how you get on, it is more demanding than a “walk in the park” but a tremendous rush and a great laugh If you do decide to invest in equipment, go lightweight with a polymer rif (cos you will be carrying it all day) and hi-cap mags (3 would more than likely last you a game or two) without the need for carrying more. Sniping can be lightweight, but a bit of a challenge on your patience , waiting for 20 mins to get that 1 shot ?

What mag is it? For a pistol or gbbr? Are you trying to fill it from the top of the feedlips and not the front of them? If it’s a pistol, most of them allow you to pull the follower all the way down and drop beebs into the track, then release the follower to push them up to the feedlips

Nope! ? I never did any of the aforementioned inner barrel tests, so more stuff to look at next time it’s apart. ? It does have a stainless barrel, and unless it’s different to the Scar L , I believe they come standard with a brass barrel installed? The inner certainly went back into the outer without any fuss or hints anything was bent. I dunno about anyone being inside the gearbox previously I’ll see if I can get any clues without letting the fairies out of their captivity ?

I had one and fielded it for over a year before I got bored (it happens easily with me ?) It is mostly plastic / abs and nice and light weight The only thing I did to mine when it arrived was downgrade the spring as it was close to 400fps on arrival & wire to deans Mid caps are hard to find, hi caps are metal and cheap ? I must be pretty light handed with my stuff, as I never managed to break anything on it. The stock mounted rear sling point obviously isn’t up to the job it’s supposed to do. But, as a lightweight DMR , I recon it’s perfect. A lot less creaky than the TM version! Pop a claw mount on the top, fit an optic, lock to semi and yer off! I loved mine! Yes, I never did remove the “HopUp” dangler on the front It made other players diss me thinking I was a noob ?

Well, I replaced the old bucking with the fresh new one Totally dismantled the hop unit to remove any contamination etc and re assembled The fresh rubber was an exceptionally tight fit, over the barrel and getting back into the hop unit. My first testing of it was in the back garden (before the cold snap we just had) So I would say it was roughly 8 deg outside - keeping in mind the rif had been stored in the house at circa 20deg just before testing fps was good - still around 290 And it was lifting .20’s like a champ My next outing to test it was on site, the day never got above freezing Range was poor, maybe 30m and that was firing .28’s which is what I intend to use Accuracy was ABYSMAL I didn’t have .25’s with me to try slightly lighter Im hoping that the freezing temperature was the reason for a lacklustre performance , causing the hop to remain quite hard and not give much Magnus effect? ??‍♂️

Question: would a very low outdoor temperature affect the performance of a hop rubber? (like 0 to -1 degree outside ) On an aeg I add ?

If anyone has done anything to one of these, I’d hazard a guess it’d be Catgutviolin check out his channel on YT (also he does explosive enterprises channel on YT) He also frequents the gbbr group on discord ?

Yeah, It’s an ngrs They have a pretty weak recoil, more like a mild vibration when shooting ? But certainly more soul than a standard aeg (nothing like TM’s other M4 versions) Still work to do on the hop unit A 30% chance of hitting a target at 30m just now which is USELESS this is after a fresh hop rubber I put circa 700 rounds through it yesterday hoping it would bed in Funny thing is, it seems more consistent on full auto ??‍♂️
