I got my ghk m4 by accident in a bundle, it’s circa 2017-2018 and works a charm Ive never been fortunate enough to compare it to anyone else’s, as I have never seen another one here in Scotland The standard hop unit is next to useless Then when you upgrade, you need to run .36’s or close to it so as your upgraded hop, won’t overhop 😂 A 1J nozzle will still fire too hot over the Chrono on a nice day on green gas, so then you need to fit an NPAS system (I’ve done this but yet to Chrono/ field it) Mags are nigh on impossible to find, and are eye wateringly expensive if you do (like around £70 new per mag) Used mags exchange for around the £40-£45 mark Feedlips on the mags have a tendency to split if you look at them in the wrong direction, so then you need to get aluminium aftermarket ones, around £20 for a set for 1 magazine Not much of a difference between Mk1 & Mk2 variants of the gun (Mk2 has a magnetic bolt lock & smoother finish to the bcg over the Mk1 Its a love hate relationship A bit like domestic abuse I imagine I love mine 😂

Don’t be put off with Ali Express quoted delivery times, my Elcan clone arrived within a fortnight. The quality is superb and crystal clear (but I’d expect that for £200) Plenty there to choose from to suit your budget 👍

Foam pipe lagging? wont to much to absorb sound, but to be fair- most of the noise from that comes from the actual mechanics working of the gbbr system and gas escaping through the ejection port when recoiling

Got a black one on my GBBR I actually didn’t like the way it looked Tried H&K style diopter iron sights on it too Trust me, I’ve been round the block with it so far 😀

My first love is my GHK M4 I had a Scar L and it was good, but soulless, I’ve just sold my Scar H for the same reason. I know they are TM’s , but having held a new 416 last weekend, it feels nicely built and I know they shoot well and the recoil is much more substantial than the “recoil noise” that the Scar makes 😂 Im just wondering what is out there that might be better? And dare I say it , cheaper Do I have my blinkers on, is TM - The Emperor’s New Clothes?

Hi folks Im sniffing around for a used /pre loved Ar platform. AEG I can’t be arsed changing mag pouches on my PC when I make up my mind what I’m fielding, so Stanag based it is! I want recoil, accuracy, good build quality (and finished in tan / FDE from the factory) Ive got a budget of around £450 - £500 So far the only thing that has caught my eye is TM’s 416D But what am I missing? What else is out there that is as good if not better? KWA recoil? Im lost and need guidance please

I started off with a WE G17 as my first pistol, it worked ok, and to be honest , it Never let me down. That left my ownership after I got bored of it, I tried the AEG (We) M17 -Sig P320 That was a real disappointment of bad designed hop unit making it unable to shoot straight, then a mildly bling Hi Cappa , just because I also now have a TM G17 , works in almost freezing conditions on 144a To the extent that I use it for sneaky test shots when marshalling Sorry to sound a fanboy, but TM all the way

What shells are you running through this dude? I think you can get a different barrel to allow APS shells to be used
