  1. Ok, just clear my head. You have an ics sa80 right? Those should come with a 19mm rail on top, so does your susat fit a 19mm dovetail or a 20mm picatinny?

I have an ICS SA80, It should have but mine is second hand, previous owner must have swapped it out for a 20mm picatinny. My SUSAT doesn't fit a 20mm picatinny, so I assume it's a 19mm dovetail SUSAT.

  2. Hi guys,

I bought my ICS L85 second hand and it came with a 20mm rail on top which is nice for my ELCAN, but I am currently looking at setting up my L85 with the SUSAT sight or carry handle for a little while.

Does anyone know where I can get one of these 19mm rails so that I can fit a susat or the standard iron sights on my gun? I know you can get the 20mm to 19mm adapters on Ant-supplies but I don't really fancy having it raised up like that, looks a bit ugly.

    Cheers.

    :)

  3. Hop up wise, I put a guarder hop up rubber (the clear ones) in my M4 and it's performance was a lot better than before, so my recommendation would be to try that first, before getting a barrel and see if it does what you want. They only cost a few quid anyway, so even if it doesn't do what you want it to, it's not breaking the bank just for a test. If you want to buy one, Taiwangun.com sell them i think. I'm not sure about the Hop up unit for G36's so I cant help on that front.

  4. I suppose it's a bit useless to repeat what others have said, but my friend came to the UK from Finland with a P90 and an M4 for NAE 2014 on a plane. He contacted them several times before hand, so when he checked in at the airport, they had a note saved, security and police checked his guns, (in the middle of the airport...oops lol) to make sure they were fake, and once they gave the green light, they let him on the plane. He said it was about 30 minutes extra to deal with in Helsinki and 30 minutes to deal with in Heathrow. But yes, just inform everyone you think it might affect.

  5.

It's good to know it is the same as it has always been... sadly, I have never been so don't have a clue about what to expect or timings of things, so even though seasoned regulars may know what to expect new plays will not.

Thanks for your info though - that certainly helps a huge amount - not sure about the leaving after the game finishes on Sunday though... long drive home following a day running around...

Maybe spend sunday night in a cheap hotel to rest and then head out on monday?

  6. Isn't there another site in Kings Langley too, affiliated with the Quartermaster? Went there for gloves and my own face pro as a starting point.

Site is called Reforger Airsoft, my Father regularly chats with the site owner. They don't host games regularly as far as I know, they post on Facebook when they have games/send out emails.

Been there a few times. It's nice but they are a bit unorganised from time to time (this may have changed since I last played there).

Right next to Red 1 School basically. If I had to guess, it's about 5 minutes apart from each of them. They're both 10 minutes from my house, which is awesome, (but irrelevant.) :D
