  1. My two TM pistols.
  2. I know that UKARA is not a legal requirement for buying a rif.. But when a seller is dealing with somebody he doesn't know, it is the only form of proof of defence that can be relied on, and probably the only one that would stand up in court of law. And yet, when I advertise rifs and make clear that I will sell only to those with a current UKARA, I am contacted by people who know full well their UKARA has expired. After the correspondence, exchange of details etc, I check with Fire Support and end up stopping the sale. I know the law is stupid, but there is nothing I can do about it. Selling to those without a defence is a criminal offence, and I am not prepared to risk having a criminal record, which is a serious thing, and all for the sake of a hundred and fifty quid. How would I explain to my daughter who lives in America that I could not get a visa to visit her? In future when I am selling a rif, I will insist that prospective buyers give me their full name, UKARA number and postal code, before I respond to them in any way. I am tired of wasting my time. My own UKARA has expired and I have come to terms with the fact that I will not be able to buy another rif unless I once again go through the whole procedure of playing three game in just over two month. Fair enough. There must be lots of skirmishers out there in the same position. But they shouldn't be trying to buy guns on the sales section.
  3. You do like your Glocks. So do I. Info on the bottom right 34 please?
  4. Thanks for the reply. I suppose it worked out as pretty good value for two years' heavy use.
  5. How did your first one meet its demise? 2 years doesn't seem very long for a TM.
  6. Thanks. Not really what I was looking for.
  7. Does anybody know if there are any practical pistol clubs in the north west? I haven't been able to find any.
  8. I don't know why airsofters bother with CO2.
  9. Glad you got that sorted. Lovely gun.
  10. Use Google translate. I have bought stuff from Germany using it.
  11. Can anyone tell me the maximum temperature a soldering iron should be heated to for stippling of plastic pistol grips? TM and/or WE.
  12. Yes, I realise that Tommikka. I could join a re-enactment society I suppose,, but it isn't really my kind of thing. Thanks for the reply. Good to know.
  13. How do you manage to keep your UKARA? Now that my skirmishing days are over, I will lose my UKARA in March of next year. That is why any other rifs I want will have to be purchased in the next three months.
  14. Aren't the real ones available with stainless steel slides?
  15. What's the best device for stippling a plastic grip: a soldering iron or a wood burning tool? Or something else?
  16. Why do a TM pistols like the Hi Capa (metal upper frame), 1911 (metal inserts in grip) and M9A1 (metal inserts in the grip and metal weight on inner barrel), have more metal than other Marui pistols? The M9A1 actually weights more than some all metal airsoft Berettas. Is it for the sake of realism or something to do with the design of these guns?
  17. Lot of work then. Well beyond my ability.
  18. Very nice work. Is that a TM, WE, or Guarder frame you shaped and stippled? Or something else?
  19. Can TM pistol magazines take higher powered gas than 144a or do you need to change the valves?
  20. Nice little collection. Even the case is tan.
  21. Are the Marui the internals on the special edition Resident Evil themed Berettas based on the old M92F pistols or the later M9A1 versions?
  22. Thanks. By cut slides i assume you mean the Gold Match. I think it's the only one with cut outs. I have a TM M9A1 and I have been wondering, given the huge Beretta cut out in the slide, whether this might not last too long without cracking on green gas. Even on 144a. I just wondered if, after a good few years of use, they also cracked on duster gas or equivalent.
