THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

Without the TM rails attached (I don't like them) but with the side plate and screw. Might consider the stainless version if it is mint. The price of new frames, when you can actually get them, seems to be around 40 pounds which I am prepared to pay for an as new one, plus postage of course.£40

Thanks for the reply. It is a black 5.1 hi capa frame that I want. It must be in good condition and not have those horrible TM rails attached. I have only seen two or three for sale, all out of stock. I think I'll try posting in the wanted section.
-
These aren't always as easy to get hold of as you might think. Which is strange when you consider that the TM hi capa is probably the most customised airsoft pistol there is. I know Ebog Designs sell off parts left over after builds, as did Elite Shooting Centre, but Hi Capa Hub doesn't appear to, and there are very few oem parts on second had forums. Can anybody recommend a site I may not have come across?

Thanks very much to you all.

Thanks. Point about the barrel duly noted. What about the tm bbu: will it fit the Guarder slide without much sanding?
-
Yes, sorry. I am specifically interested in the TM Gen 4 Glock 17 paired with a cnc Guarder slide. Usually with a Guarder slide the tm bbu needs modifying. If it is one of the more recent, more expensive cnc slides, I am assuming the TM bbu would be a straight fit. Thanks for the reply.
-
Will these work with the plastic barrel? Does the TM bbu still have to be modified to fit.
-
Thank you very much for your reply. I found it very helpful.
-
Thanks for the suggestion. I think the AM frames are more expensive than a cerakote treatment and may need the additional purchase of some steel parts in the hammer unit.

Thanks for the reply.

I wanted one of the Infinity Vintage ones by Airsoft Masterpiece, but they are sold out in most places. Eventually I found one in Hong Kong shop. I had wanted black but this one was in titanium grey, which would have been my second choice anyway, so I bought it. I don't generally go for two tone guns and so I began to consider these options for the lower frame: 1. Get it cerakoted grey - with grip safety, slide safety and slide stop would probably come to well north of a hundred quid. 2. Buy a 5.1 stainless and use the lower frame and silver safeties from that - it would be no more expensive than a cerakote job but with the advantage of having a new gun and additional magazine. I know the silvery grey finish flakes off quickly, but I could remove it altogether, polish it up and spray with a clear coat to limit oxidation. 3. Strip off the black paint on the lower frame I already have and repaint it grey. I would have to buy three rattle cans for this: primer, top coat and clear coat. 4. Just leave it alone as a two tone pistol. After all it doesn't look bad. I could even put a grey grip and magwell on it, for the sake of balance. I never skirmish my pistols - I don't even holster them. They get only light occasional use in my garden so I feel the cerakote option is difficult to justify in terms of cost. Is it possible that the TM mock stainless finish might last a bit longer then some people say. After all lots of people still buy that version despite the finish being a well known issue. The finish on the black lowers is pretty fragile too for that matter. What do you reckon?
-
Is the VFC one produced for Sig, who recently entered the airsoft market? I think they call them Proforce. Not widely available in the UK. I agree about the KJW. That awful thick black finish on their Sigs is both ugly and fragile. And they do tend to rattle. I prefer the WE Sigs. They look much better and have a great blowback.

Quantity1 Price£110 Shipment 0 Offers 0 Questions 343 views Description Never skirmished. Test fired only indoors with Abbey 144a only, to check that it functioned. Comes with Guarder nylon fibre frame and serial tag fitted. Boxed with all TM accessories including the four additional backstraps. If you want to use the backstraps I would advise you to use the original Marui frame, which is included along with its serial tag, since I have been unable to fit them to the Guarder frame. I ended up putting the frame internals back into the TM frame, and the backstraps were easy to fit. However the Marui frame is not a patch on the Guarder one which looks great, is stronger , has all the correct markings and transforms the look of the gun. So I put the internals back into the Guarder. I don't use backstraps anyway. A couple of frame pins have lost the black painted finish due to disassembly and reassembly, which is why is why I have to advertise is as "used". This and the incompatibility of the backstraps with the Guarder frame are the reason for the low price. It is worth more. With the Guarder frame the total cost was between 180 and 190 pounds. -190 pounds. If interested please let me have your name, postcode and UKARA number. 90 pounds collected. Plus 5 pounds if posted.£90

Never skirmished. Test fired only indoors to check that it functioned. Comes with Guarder nylon fibre frame and serial tag fitted. Boxed with all TM accessories including the four additional backstraps. One of the TM pins had tool marks on it (yes it happens) so I replaced it with a stainless steel one. I tried to fit one of the backstraps to the Guarder frame but the pin wouldn't go in easily so I stopped rather than force it. In any case I have no need for the backstraps. The Guarder frame has all the correct markings, cost 40+ pounds and is much nicer than the TM ABS one. Transforms the look of the gun. I don't mind the Marui plastic slide, but I don't like the plastic finish on their Glock frames at all. Looks great. As new. Tested with 144a gas only. 15mm nozzle/bbu gives snappy recoil. If interested please let me have your name, postcode and UKARA number. 110 pounds posted£110

The solid grip, not the skeleton version. I understand the magazine will be a tight fit, and that it may have to be pulled out rather than just dropped. This is not a problem for me. I also believe that some internal sanding may be required around the mag release and trigger bow so that they work smoothly. This is not a problem for me either. However the skeleton grip is said to be fragile and easy to crack. That is probably understandable when you look at it. But is that down to the design rather than the quality or thickness of the polymer? I am only interested in the full grip. Does it suffer from the same weakness as the skeleton grip, ot is it just as sturdy as the TM ABS grip?

That is rather nice.

I screwed up my brand new Glock 19 almost a year ago while trying to fit a Guarder frame, by breaking the slide, ruining the Guarder frame and disfiguring the original TM frame. Yes, I know. I am a pillock. After repeated failed attempts to get the hammer to cock with the slide on I removed all parts and decided to sell them. There is some wear to the black paint in places, but it is due only to my disassembling and reassembling the gun countless times and not from firing. It was only ever test fired. The parts fit together fine. I can cock the hammer manually and then tap the sear to release it, but only when the hammer unit is not in contact with the bbu. The nozzle return spring from the bbu may need replacing as there is kink in it at one end, but it seems to work as intended. Can be used as the basis of a new build or as spare parts. Come with users manual and parts diagram but no frame slide or magazine. I will put the parts in related groups in little plastic bags labelled as chassis and related items, slide internals, mag release, hammer unit, trigger and bar, etc. All pins screws and springs are included.£35.04

Thanks for confirming what I suspected. I wasn't impressed with the RATech casing. The WE one actually seemed better made.
-
I have had one of these in the past. It consisted of the hop casing, Maple Leaf rubber, metal dial, hop lever, I key and inner barrel. Now I am considering buying another. Can I forget the hop casing this time, and just get the inner barrel, rubber, dial, hop lever and I key. Will everything fit into the WE hop casing? I ask because I seem to remember the brass coloured RA tech hop casing was a bit longer than the WE one.

Never skirmished. Test fired only indoors to check that it functioned. Comes with Guarder nylon fibre Gen 2 frame and serial tag fitted. Boxed with all TM accessories. The Glock 22 is an improved version of the TM G17. It is essentially the same but has a metal insert in the slide to protect it, and a metal insert in the magazine release. It does not have the bigger bbu of the most recent Marui Glocks. However if you want to put an aluminium slide on it, you have more choice than with the Gen 4 version at present. The Gen 2 frame is without rails and finger grooves and has always been my favourite. The Guarder magwell is made of nylon, looks good and is easily removed. I think it cost me the best part of twenty quid. The original TM frame and serial tag are also included. The Guarder frame cost 40+ pounds and is much nicer than the TM ABS one. Transforms the look of the gun. I don't mind the Marui plastic slide, but I don't like the plastic finish on their Glocks at all. Looks great. As new. Tested with 144a gas only.
