Before I'd got to your mention of an m14 I was ready to suggest one, doesn't even need to be a tm, I've had tm previously, but currently running a cyma socom m14, & to be honest it's brilliant, mines stock running at around 340fps, range & accuracy is spot on, I can't fault it & a lot cheaper than my previous tm. Definitely consider a cyma m14👍

It does seem totally ridiculous that he, literally continually seems to get away with committing crime, & it's made worse by the fact that its very well documented, every scam must have dozens of messages between him & his victims, including addresses, yet the plod are disinterested ?. Surely these cases would be piss easy to prosecute with all the evidence available ?, almost guaranteed conviction rates for the plod. I'd recommend the taco style elasticated mags, literally work with 5.56 & 7.62 size mags, lots out there including the Chinese knock offs, so you don't need to pay a fortune. DON'T buy 5.56 shingles, their fine with regular stanag mags but the Aug mags tend to be too tight in there, as do some of the newer plastic p mag style stuff.

To be honest I was thinking about a triple ?, about 1k capacity, being metal mags I could cut the two outer mags down & spot them with my mig welder. Got some family & friends that recently showed an interest in having a go, be easier to send them out with a mega hi-cap & very lightweight loadout than decking them out in loads of mags & LCE

"gave" is a bit of a stretch, apparent cost per unit delivered was in the region of 50k, although I bet we barely broke even when the "new" cost was factored in

Andrey's been around a while, up until now no issues with anybody, maybe the bodged rifle everyone's talking about is a one off, thrown together from a "leftovers" box ?. Not saying its right, but maybe his other guns, hopefully yours included, will be of a better quality 🤞 1000% this

Those weren't legitimate defences, but I suspect given the historical lack of prosecutions with regards to airsoft vs vcra, some retailers have chosen to move their own goalposts to suit themselves, likely they feel it's an acceptable risk given the economic pressures most are facing.

Personally I disagree with sending any kit, the Ukrainian military has its own equipment (as well as what nato has supplied), the idea of sending pc's etc., irrespective of the brands, will be pointless if there's no armour to put in it. As for mag carrying, better of with a decent quality satchel or similar, the only real hope for the untrained volunteer masses will be harassment & interdiction, essentially hit & run, traditionally in history those that operate in this manner, the ability to blend in to the population afterwards will make more of a difference than just looking the part. Harsh when we're discussing "charitable donations" but true unfortunately 🤔
