how difficult would this be to make for airsoft
Tackle replied to BIGwat's topic in General Discussion
I could be wrong, but didn't someone on here do a shotgun conversion of some sort, lining the barrels with some flared copper tube to take aps type gas shells ??????? -

LOL, I'm a little bit more relaxed in my outlook, if the personal info relates to a scamming pos, I say feck 'em, & their skanky mums🖕. What they gonna do, call the popo for letting people know who they are & what they're up to. 😜
-
I've emailed the mods on usedairsoft, hopefully they can block him before too much harm is done.

Has anybody paid this guy?, if so you need to immediately reverse your payment via whatever options available to you, PayPal dispute etc, as he's a scammer & has been kicked off the forum. Well done @Sniper780 for spotting it & letting everyone know it was moody 👍. Stuff like this is what makes this forum stand out compared to other forums & pages, the members always vigilant & community minded, & a mod team that doesn't panic about gdpr when concerns are raised. Massive 👍

He's got two other ads up for guns, both listed as excessive fps for mainland Britain, & especially Northern Ireland which has a lower fps limit for all airsoft guns. Are you able to check the pics on his other ads ?, to ensure they're not nicked from someone else ?

Brocock do make mainly Airsoft guns, I think they tried to dabble in airsoft with this model but it didn't take off. I think the seller needs to confirm the calibre & fps if he wants to keep the ad up.

As has been said, it's all very well to load up with the fancy kit, but knowing how to use it is far more important, so if ever offered first aid courses on any level, especially if works paying for them, take them, you might make all the difference one day. To the same degree, within reason, someone with training can utilise all sorts of non medical items in order to stabilise a situation, case in point, when a colleague of mine had been shot, properly shot lol, standard wound dressings wouldn't do the job, but packing the wound with my own Compton & Webb beret stopped him bleeding out. Fucker still owes me a new beret 🤬

1000%, they've got the time to go shopping for assorted coloured ties, but not to walk 50 yards to the chrono, definitely cheating pos & if I was a site owner I'd give them a lifetime ban, their hot guns have the potential to bring a H&S shitstorm down on the site.
-
I'll add, naming is important, even if players choose to attend these sites, it doesn't hurt to go in forewarned as to potentially what to expect, in order to raise these issues quickly should the need arises.

Great gun, but I wouldn't pay that for one that was working fine, got mine with 7 mags for nearly half his price. Dreamer lol🤔

Wanting to by a really good out-of-the box airsoft gun

That's what I'm talking about, op could have matching long & short gats for his budget. I'd be all over that👍 -

As has been asked, is the budget you mentioned for guns alone or do you need to factor in other kit, such as eyepro/boots/vest etc. If it's just for your gun, if I personally was starting out, knowing what I now know from years of playing, I'd consider the new DE range of M4 variants, they look good, & all player reviews so far indicate good performance & features for the price. To that end, you could technically afford TWO, I would definitely recommend getting two, maybe a nice long version, backed up with a compact stubby variant, then you've always got a mag compatible backup, as well as suitable guns for woodland or cqb sites. Edit: i saw your post after typing mine, great minds think alike 👍😉 -

More info needed!!!! What platform are you considering ? Mp5, m14, m4. Ak, G36, & many more, & any of the various derivatives ? -
Lol, told you I knew feck all about them🥴
-
Don't forget the "4th" (?) variant, the g&g 2010 HUNTER, with the scope shroud covering the top rail, it's the one I've got, but I know feck all about them.

Hard to say, I've seen these priced from £120 to £250, & either hang around for ages or are snapped up almost immediately, their essentially Airsoft marmite lol. Same goes for the serial number, to the right person it'll be worth double the brand new rrp, but your more cynical buyer might just assume it's had a long & potentially hard life, irrespective of the apparent history of it. I know, I'm not helping much, might be an idea to talk to the guy behind "Raresoft" on fb, he's on here too but my minds gone blank to his username, he'll have an idea on how marketable it is ?

Agree with everything said above.......... BUT........ WHY ? Why do you need to upgrade ?, even most of the budget guns are pretty well set up straight outta the box, why potentially waste money for little or no gain, consider what you like the look of, make another post listing your likes & ask people's opinions, & if the stars align, buy the bleeding gun. Then play with it for as long as you can until: A. Something breaks that requires fixing Or B. You are able to positively identify a particular weakness that needs addressing What you quite literally waste on "pre-upgrades" could potentially buy you a second back up gun, a much better investment in my opinion.

To be fair, ALMOST anything will do, even putting a couple of small crocodile clips in a box setup & hanging a newspaper or light magazine up, strong enough to stop & soak the power, but light enough to flex & not allow ricochets. If I was planning to build a catcher/target box, I would consider using commercial carpet tiles, the kind usually found in office environments, very hard wearing & quite stiff but with just enough flex that bb's wouldn't break if they hit edges etc, which is an issue with most commercial box catchers. EDIT : I should add these aren't cheap, far from it so prob not best to Google them 😳lol, but if you or a relative/friend work in an office environment, a friendly chat with the resident building services person should blag half a dozen, most buildings have a basement lockup with stacks of these secondhand for reusing in renovations or partition changes.

DA FUQ ?, stupid prices for what is essentially secondhand & broken. What I don't get is they offer repair & upgrade tech services, why the fudge aren't they correcting these faults themselves ?, yep I know it's a "profit thing" lol, but it doesn't exactly inspire confidence in their tech services. 🤔
