So wtf was that about ?, is he marketing other people's kit for them & adding a big lump for himself ?

Irrespective of whether members have been happy with their deals with him, many, me included, have questioned the validity of his ads. Such as claims the goods are new, but no warranty is given, & according to the forum rules, retailers/dealers aren't allowed, & all items are to be considered secondhand. As for his prices,they've often been shown to be equal to, or even higher than rrp, even though he'll try to claim otherwise.

You shouldn't be getting emails directly from members, unless you'd inadvertently put your email address in an ad, or in your profile somewhere ?

Hey Loki, I think there's a few of us on here experiencing similar issues, well done for not letting it get the better of you. I get your reasons for mag compatability etc, between rifle & pistol, but cant help but think that the benefits of the lighter carbine will be offset by the weight of the numerous gas mags you'll need to carry, especially if you want any kind of reasonable ammo capacity ?. Obviously a dmr role puts you midway between assaulter & sniper, bit more limited on fps, & probable range, than a fully set up sniper. Why not consider something like an m14 socom, light & not the full length rifle, but excellent range, especially if you can get it to the dmr limits (& ive heard good things about players insulating inside the body for further sound reduction), aeg so good all year round, & technically you'd probably get away with just one mag if you run a hi-cap, meaning you can slim down your load carrying kit to the bare essentials, & a well set up nbb mk23 or Nov equivalent & 2 or 3 mags should cover your sneaky sidearm needs. Obviously im not trying to teach you to suck eggs lol, you've been at it at least 5-6 years longer than me, but being equally broken means ive had to drastically rethink what i use. Worth considering ?

Dodgy b#stards the lot of them, while im not up on the precise laws on this situation, the government would have benefited via taxation when these products, & all their ancillaries, when they were bought, so if they then want them handed over, for whatever reason, those who lawfully comply should have been compensated/rewarded, especially as pre ban there was no registration process on these, so nothing to stop anyone selling them to the highest criminal bidder, rather than give them away for nothing. But what do we know compared to the crooks that run the country 😉 (IMHO, not the forums)

Agree, & imnot advocating lawbreaking, but just like rif ownership, common sense & responsibility needs to be used to ensure they're not misused, anyone who doesn't do that, whether its blank firers, airsoft, air rifles etc, deserves everything they've got coming to them, my only worry there is they don't take us down with them. @novioman regarding the guy with the, im guessing Brocock revolvers, he, & & anyone like him should be compensated, if they've been honest enough to hand them over, they shouldn't be left out of pocket for doing so, for once it would be a positive use of public funds, rather than the absolute bollocks they usually squander it on🤬

Obviously im aware of the legitimate uses for blank firers, im not exactly thick as 💩 lol, but i reckon a majority of those sold are to private owners with no intention of participating in the scenarios you mentioned, so a retailer offloading their stock at sale prices isn't necessarily a dodgy move imho. Unless he flogs the lot to a scally in a bally, no questions asked 😉

I'm on the fence on this, obviously i get why kit like this gets banned due to the criminal element exploiting them, but ive always wondered why they're so popular amongst a section of the law abiding general populace ?. Its not like there's a lot of opportunities to use them, safe places to fire them without inviting unwanted attention, so for most they'll be wall hangers or paperweights, in which case they should never come to the attention of the authorities ☝️, so i wouldn't lose any sleep over the ban.

I've been hit there are few times, but to be fair when its as big as mine, that was always gonna happen😜 Yeah, its not pleasant, but neither is taking an up close burst up the inside of your thigh, or across your lower back/kidneys. Unless your planning on doing the whole bomb suit & minigun loadout, surely finding a balance of kit that doesn't restrict you, cause heatstroke or discomfort, & generally affects your ability to play is paramount, offset by the rare chance of a stray bb to the 🌭. Sports cup, or maybe a dangler pouch worn low should do the job ?

Even if it was possible, No, definitely not, as they are the classifieds are as straightforward as they can be, while your reasons are clear due to the nature & circumstances of what you're selling, that would encourage some greedy sellers to push for a bigger payday on maybe rarer items etc, & if they didnt get the windfall they hoped for, who's gonna force them to ship the items ? it's a free forum with free classifieds, the mod team are all volunteers & we have enough work keeping the scammers out & keeping some semblance of order amongst the rest of you reprobates 😜

For shipping, consider parcel2go, kinda "comparethemarket" type site, often cheaper than going direct to pf/rm/evri/yodel etc, & lots of options for switching between price/speed etc.

I run a couple of grab bags (1 black, 1 OD), not the issue type, small bucket bags with molle on both sides & the ends, larger taco's on one side, smg taco's on the other, twin pistol on one end & twin 40mm on the other (which handily takes a bfg & small gas reservoir can). Main compartment takes nalgene water, chocky, spare goggs & battery, what more do you need ?. Perfect 👌 (Obviously I own about a million other rigs that invariably never get used lol) 😱
