Anyone know Mrchrissyb1984 in the real world?
Tackle replied to peter207's topic in General Discussion
FFS Pete, why, no wonder he's ghosting you. You need to get on to paypal & your bank, there's a slim chance he's a longtime paypal member, if this is the case then you may be able to convince them he's purposely committing fraud, if you have pms showing he actively asked for f&f for whatever reason, screenshot them & forward to paypal, same for your bank as it was your funding source. While odds aren't great, they have to investigate if you claim its fraud. Do this immediately, if his paypal account is new, there's a possibility of a delay in him being able to withdraw funds, not entirely sure about f&f but it's worth a try. -

Start a paypal dispute, why give him a week if he hasn't even given you an excuse for not responding. If he doesn't respond to them, you'll get your money back quicker, & even if he does come back with an excuse, valid or not, DONT EVER stop a paypal dispute until you've either got your money, or the items (& your happy with them), as once stopped it can't be restarted. Seriously, I'm amazed at how many sellers are super quick with comms etc right up until they're paid, & then become sloth-like or ghost you? -
As @gavinkempsell said, nylon respirator pouch makes a great first aid bag, you can attach it to your belt order or clip a strap to the handily positioned D rings on the back, probably one of the best bits of kit in the 58 pattern loadout.

No plans to start knocking them out ?? ?

Hey Jez, weren't you doing an electronic sound grenade of some sort, on the back-burner for now ?

@Mrchrissyb1984 care to respond ? -
@Jaylordofwaargh 58 pattern was my issued kit, the kidney pouches were meant for your sustainment kit, mess tins/ratpacks etc, & socks/footpowder etc, essentially for when the shit hits the fan & you have to leg it, you've got enough in your battle order to survive independently for a few days, but as far as pouches go, the kidney pouches were only ever meant to be accessible when your rigs off. But unless you're planning on doing 36+hrs milsims or similar, they're totally unsuitable for airsoft skirmish days, same goes for the poncho roll, just annoying when it slaps on your arse when running (we used to clip ours above the kidney pouches, much more stable). As for the holsters, they were hardly ever issued because very few had access to pistols anyway, literally you signed out a pistol if you were on guardhouse duty etc, & you were handed a belt with holster attached, which went back in to the armoury with the browning at the end of your stag, so it's no wonder hardly any made it on to the surplus market. But there was a shoulder holster issued too, not leather, same material as your webbing & designed to be worn over your smock, you might get lucky & find one of those ?

I'd be reluctant using them based on just the email response times alone, is it another "one man band" operation ?

Potential liar/scammer idk but be careful

Love the fact he says he needs to get rid of his as "it takes up much needed space"...........but you want to swap it for something else that will also fill your "much needed space" Is it half term again already ffs? -
Brandon, still in the wrong place, this section is for people asking for a valuation on stuff they're thinking of selling. You need to post in the "electric rifles" section. You'll need to quote its fps too.

Unfortunately scammers are drawn to the Wanted ads like flies on shit, after all half of the work is done, they know what you want so now all they need to do is convince you they've got it, which they'll do using somebody else's pictures. As long as people remember to only pay using something like PayPal goods & services, never friends & family or bank transfer, always keep the comms here, don't be tempted to use WhatsApp or other encrypted comes that the seller suggests. Ask plenty of questions, request photos of the kit with obscure items in them, pint of milk & copy of a UK paper or similar, & if you've got the slightest concerns or the seller pressures you, walk away, nothing we play with is worth the stress of being scammed out of your hard earned. Oh yeah, & ALWAYS report the seller to the mods, as well as discuss it in the open with other forum members, keeping g scammers out is like trying to hold back the sea, but knowledge is power overs these jizzbuckets, so share it.

Got a link to the pistol ?

I bet they sucked all that lovely lead based paint off them too ?

It's a 26bb mag but less gas capacity than a hi capa, so it's always gonna struggle to empty, but it will improve a little as the weather gets warmer. Don't think of it as a hindrance, had it been real steel you'd only get 8 shots at best. If the trip back to the safezone is a pain, consider getting a smaller refillable gas can to carry in game, along with a speedloader.

Good luck, discontinued apparently, & none in stock anywhere as you're already aware. Best bet is a wanted ad maybe, but watch out for the scammers, they'll be on you like a tramp on chips.

A business near me (non airsoft, furniture), has a separate website for their returns or slightly damaged stuff, where the explicitly state items purchased there are non returnable & you should be prepared for possible small issues with items, but in fairness the price are reduced massively, maybe 25% of the original rrp or even less. My granddaughter needed a bigger bed, & they were advertising fancy sleigh bed returns for about 10% of the rrp, I popped in to their warehouse to pick one up, the guy brought 3 big unopened boxes out, BRAND NEW, never touched perfect condition, for 25 quid, result? My work here is done?

Wolf armouries is a great example, not only did they have a shit eating attitude, I remember a young member on another forum contacting me for advice, long time ago pre vcra, explaining how he'd put a pistol in for repair & when he went to pick it up he was told "you've already collected it", his response was "no I haven't", & Wolf refused to accept they had given it to the wrong person, or alternatively one of the arsehole staff had lifted it ?
-
Personally, I'd tell them not to worry, your expected to pay for it due to their probably illegal approach to the consumer rights act, you'll collect it & pass it on to a reputable tech who'll sort it properly in a timely fashion & provide you with a report which you'll pass on to the manufacturer, along with a full timeline of the whole debacle. & then point out that you'll then publish the whole shitfest on every airsoft page, forum, & review website, ensuring that EVERYONE knows what a shower of shit they are. Then await their reply ?

In that case it's not the rum, you just got old?, I've got it everywhere except my head, the ones that just seem to appear overnight, about an inch long out of my ears are a special bonus?

I'll buy some if it'll put hair on my head ??
