Advert Questions posted by Tackle

  1. Regards number 4, SWISS SKIING GOGGLES, these are unlikely to be suitably rated for use in airsoft, feel free to correct me if you can prove otherwise & they are suitably marked, or have paperwork to prove this, otherwise you should probably pull these from the ad, their not Airsoft & therefore against forum rules.

Plus it'd be shit if someone lost an eye because of them.

  2. Hey John, as the learned man above has pointed out, 6mm Airsoft only here, but you could head over to zeroin, it's another Airsoft forum (not as good as this one😏), but they do allow air pistols & rifles to be sold there in the "other weapons" categories.

  3. My tuppence, is the package worth the price ????, because if it is, whoever gave it away is obviously a super duper guy, but, no offence meant, slightly naive, in the best possible philanthropist way😏

Although to then post it up for such a greedy markup on THE SAME SITE YOU GOTTA IT FOR FREE FFS is a bit of a piss take, & all stick is well deserved 🤬

  4. Hi Jay, lovely gun, do us a favour & take a picture of it & include a piece of paper within the pics with your username and the date handwritten on it please.

We've had a bit of an influx of scammers recently, usually touting exotic kit & it's making us a bit paranoid lol.

  5. Forum rules, you need to put up pictures of the actual item you're selling, not manufacturer or retailers images.

Give that youve been a member for a long time, I'd have expected you to know the rules, do me a favour & add your username & the date handwritten on a piece of paper within the new pics, just in case your profile has been hacked.

    Thanks.

  6. Rule number 8 in the classifieds rules:

"Do not list the same item twice simultaneously. I.e. don't 'double list' an item.  You cannot have an advert in both Sales and Swaps section for the same item, just select "For sale or swap" for advert type."

  7. Your really good at this lol.

Read the forum rules please, 6mm (or 8mm occasionally) AIRSOFT ONLY, no air pistols, rifles or paintball markers or their rubber ball illegitimate offspring😏

  8. Sorry to hear your having to pack up, but in case your not aware, forum rules state everything needs a price, either for the whole lot, or price individually, your choice.

It can be a ballpark figure, someone's bound to want to haggle a bit.

  9. I get it entirely, & I agree 100%, but at the same time it's hardly reasonable to expect a buyer to throw caution in the wind by doing a bank transfer & hoping stuff arrives, either due to incompetent delivery services or sellers ripping them off (which I'm not suggesting you would)

Hence why I originally questioned is it collection only, as its the only way to guarantee satisfaction for both parties.

Regards to parcelforce 48 compensation limits, it came up on their website on the day I posted, maybe their are ways to increase cover, at increased cost, but the page didn't readily state that.

As for your ebay/PayPal story, got a couple of my own that highlight the clusterfuck they're running, which is a minefield to navigate, all I can say is I've always remained persistent & not lost a penny when it comes to claims/disputes, makes me think it's time for a new thread highlighting this stuff & a way through it ???

Good luck with the sale, I've got the A&k version, which I collected from the seller lol.

  10. In fairness to you, yep PayPal are still stating firearms & anything else "gun like", including toys isn't covered, thing is I've had 2 refunds previously, one an airsoft rif, one an air pistol, both arrived faulty & were claims I escalated & both settled in my favour (even though the sellers both counterclaimed, & tried to say the items weren't covered, wankers🤣) .

I've just now contacted PayPal for clarification on their terms currently ?

  11. "Fully insured" isn't an option, parcelforce only cover to a maximum of £200, not £550, & even then its subject to them agreeing payout, which they'll do their best to avoid if then can blame you for poor packaging etc.

How you gonna cover the large shortfall in this event ?

Ultimately, getting it to a buyer is your responsibility, & all contractual agreements are between you & parcelforce, no way in hell I'd not insist on PayPal payment only, & the rules have changed, Airsoft rifs are now covered.
