For the time being then that's gonna have to be the way to go, members can delete some of their old ads to make way for new, at least until the software issues are sorted. Reccomend people get rid of their oldest ads first, as more recent stuff could be subject to disputes etc.

All it takes is a miscommunicated message, incorrect information, or a jumpy firearms officer making the wrong split second decision, which results in someone dead on the floor clutching an airsoft rif & its a massive long term inquiry, which is guaranteed to end with further restrictions on buying, owning, or using airsoft rifs. How severe they are depends on the incident & the in-situ government, & its not a question of if, rather than when, unfortunately.

No apology necessary, I think as a forum, 99% of the membership are aware of the inherent risks (& responsibilities) associated with rif ownership, but cosplayers, they take walting to a whole new level, usually have absolutely no interest in what we do, or the time & money many of us have invested in the game, so entertaining their interest in easily obtaining rifs is a big red flag for me. While ive often said said vcra is a crock of 💩, but it's the only one we've got, & if any government ever amends it, itll only get worse, not better.

Guys, are you able to completely delete your old completed ads ?, do you have any drop down menu's that give you your own moderation options ? I ask as if I go on them, being a mod I probably have a slightly different options menu. While deleting them entirely isn't ideal, it will hopefully open up spaces for your new adverts ? Let me know what you see ?

Hence why we're not longer gonna allow "my just-cos defence" etc threads, they can feck off to a cosplay forum/page or whatever, any association with them just puts airsoft at risk. Any crime in general that involves rifs, even if its a space age 3d printed jobby that has no real steel equivalent brings unwanted attention to the game. Worst case, some wannabe jihadi wants to martyr himself, & does it while carrying an airsoft rif, then the 💩 will really hit the fan, we'd be lucky to get away with licensed two-tones😭😱 Let's get the thread back on topic

Guys, as per the other just-cos thread, gonna lock this one too, the general consensus on the forum is that just-cos is a piss poor defence with very little legal substance, & most of those members that support it are not committed airsofters, which is fine for them i guess, but when the poop hits the fan due to misuse of a rif, bought using just-cos, its the legitimate airsofters that will suffer long term. So promoting it in any form, or listing retailers that now accept it, won't be shown here, for the reasons ive mentioned.

In principle, I love this idea, especially the fire rate, ive always thought it should match the irl equivalent, to that end, mag capacities should also match. But In our "irl" we've got hpa dsg stubby box mag m4's, used by Teflon coated 360 no-scopers, what chance have we got of a reasonably level playing field😬

No thank you, I agree that we have a good balance in all the categories. Airsoft guns are like vehicles, if a car has 100bhp & you tune it to 200bhp, you don't therefore get double its top speed or acceleration, airsoft guns are no different, plus harnessing that extra power is another issue with hops etc. And extra power will likely shorten the lifespan of the internals, another negative 👎

I'm actually veering towards inpost lockers now, even royal mail are guilty of leaving "signed for" stuff on doorsteps without even knocking, resulting in at least 2 losses, one of which ended up costing me about £70 lost 🤬. Obviously for rifs PF48 is the only legitimate service, & so far ive found them more professional than bog standard RM.

Forget all that, i shipped something similar to the Lebanon, & back then size was going to hit me just as hard on the price as weight. So in folded it up as small as it would comfortably go, then put it in to a vacuum bag, kind you put winter jumpers & quilts etc in, when the air was sucked out it was less than half its original size, I then stuck the whole thing in to one of those HD mailing bags, making sure it was a snug fit so that if the vacuum bag leaked, the whole thing wouldn't blow up like a liferaft in the airfreighters cargo hold 🤣

You could also use circlip pliers, they'd be more than up to the job.

As @Austeyr has wisely said, there is a section within the classifieds, please take the time to acquaint yourself with the various sections, as well as ALL the forums rules, & be aware that your wanted ad will attract scammers like flies on 💩, so be careful & only ever use paypal goods & services.

I think it's just a headline grabbing knee jerk reaction, a recycled shit idea intended to go some way to placate the masses who marched on London recently, & those who are veering further to the right with their future votes. I agree, there's already a shitload of info held on us, so why do they need more ?, it won't stop those who already "employ" non documented labour.
