Not played the site but prisons generally aren't known for space, more the lack of, so yeah 400 is probably optimistic, plus the ai500 has been run quite a few times, sometimes great & sometimes shit, this one has the potential to be a total clusterfuck. Shame as it's not far from me either .

I've owned two kjw's, hi-capa & g19, both are excellent, whereas I've owned one WE hi-capa, pos paperweight that's not even worth selling because I'd feel guilty passing that crap on to a fellow airsofter

Actually don't think I have commented here yet, gotta commend the officers for their restraint though, one would hope they had humint from the offenders family or friends that it 100% was a rif, & the guy was having some kind of "emotional episode", possibly hoping for "suicide by cop" etc. it is ridiculous though the fallout from armed officers in the U.K. discharging their firearms, its already proven that the training regime for these guys is the most rigorous in the world, the shitstorm that comes down on them, & the time spent on administrative duties afterwards, even if it's shown to be a righteous shooting, is enough to plant the seed of doubt in the mind of some officers, which in turn puts everyone involved at risk. thats not acceptable, but I personally can't see a solution being found ?

I don't think his issue is solely how much it is, it's the whole "why buy an expensive gun only to have to spend a shedload more it", to that end I'm in agreement, in much the same way I cringe when a new member posts up "just bought a new gun, not used it yet, what should I upgrade ?" FFS, get out & play with it, whether it's a £100 gun or costs £1k, it'll usually do exactly what it's supposed to within the boundaries of physics, no amount of money spent will surmount the laws of physics while staying within site FPS limits 😏

I picked one up for sons gf, her first gun & so far no complaints, I've used it & other than being a bit fussy with mags, it does what it's supposed to. Prices s/h vary, seen em for as little as £50, £80-£100 with a couple of mags seems to be the going rate.

While I'm all for a bit of "tinkering", why make a molle bandoleer when there's already a few on the market, some of which are fairly cheap but still well made, & as for the back, well just get two & put them together ?. Personally, I love the bandoleers, been using them for years, got 3 I think🤔, & knowing how much stitchwork goes in to them, I'd never try to make one, not a cost effective use of time & materials.

I've seen people mod trousers with a couple of improvised belt loops sewn on the seams either side of the knee, then your kneepad straps looped through them. Means they stay at the right height, but also don't need to be stupidly tight, virtually cutting off the circulation.

Mate FFS, this is probably the most knowledgeable & helpful forum around, yet your just pissing over well intentioned advice with smug insults & hearsay, not the way to endear yourself in the future, last time we had one like you was a guy called Duff, got on the wrong side of literally everyone, & is now conspicuous in his absence lol. Me, I have no understanding of the science of piston volume Vs barrel length etc, but I do know about decent hop set up trump's pretty much everything else, but in 20 years of playing I've seen long barreled guns with the accuracy & range of a garden sprinkler, & short barreled guns, such as my mates TM MP7 AEP, that had the range & accuracy of a NASA laser. So take a chill pill, accept that all our "guns" are glorified catapults, there are no guarantees, even with the most expensive ones, & enjoy the forums.
